Controlled by - The Autumn Court Other Players - The Emerald Saints (Spring Court, Patriot Faction) South Boston, more commonly known as “Southie,” is populated largely by blue-collar Irish immigrants and their descendents. It’s a toss-up whether there are more Catholic churches or neighborhood pubs in the area, but Southie seems to have gotten stuck in the late ’50s, and there’s not much to draw people to the neighborhood. Those with talent or potential typically flee, moving up to Boston proper or elsewhere, leaving the surly, pious souls of South Boston trapped in their chronically worn neighborhood that feels nearly 50 years out of step with the times. The tightly knit community of South Boston is too conscious of outsiders (some might say blatantly xenophobic) to be a comfortable place for changelings (or any other supernaturals) who do not have a long history there. None the less, the changeling population of the neighborhood is only marginally less than the rest of the city. For as long as there's been Boston, there's been changelings living there. Resident NPCs - Cancer John (Homeless Man, Bottom run thug for Carroll)

*At the border of Southie, right before one gets into Boston proper, is a modestly priced condominium. No one talks about what everybody knows - that Jacky Carroll owns this building and a dozen others like it.
It's in this particular building, however, that Bree Landwalker will be making her home for the time being. The apartment Carroll has set up for her and Stitch is a small but comfortable two bedroom, which has been fully furnished.*
Here it is. Home.

Bree shoulders her duffel, lately retrieved from the oak grove, where Stitch was astonished to see her pull it from the trunk of a tree. She examines everything with a curious eye, eventually finding the light switch and after a few tries, she figures out how it works.
"This is kind of like Tinkology, really."
She sets her duffel and a wooden box down on the sofa and wanders into the kitchen. She seems familiar enough with the refrigerator and the faucet, but the microwave mystifies her.
And then she discovers the coffeemaker.
"You have bean juice here!?" She hugs the device. "Oh sweet nectar of life...."

Yeah, that's what we call coffee too. 3nodding There's some basic foodstuffs in the fridge and pantry, but we'll need to go shopping at the end of the week.

Bree snoops through the coldbox and the cabinets, seeming intrigued by the dishware.
"Wow, real glass? I'm getting spoiled."
She searches around until she finds the pantry and spends a full minute taking stock of every single item in it. The items wrapped in plastic pique her interest for a little while.
Soon, she makes her way into the other rooms, including the bathroom. There does not seem to be a single fixture in it with which she is not familiar.
"Oh thank the gods. You have standards."
The bedroom light switch proves no challenge and she pauses at the sight of the large bed, looking sad for a moment before turning out the light and making her way back to the living room. She sits down on the couch with a fatigued sigh.
"So...what happens now?"

Well, depends what you feel like doing... We could order pizza or put on a movie...
Ooh! Hold that thought. Let me see how furnished this place is... I hope he gave us one with it... *Stitch starts wandering the apartment, checking in odd places like under the coffee table, the cabinets under the kitchen island, even under the salt and pepper shakers.*

Bree lays her head lay and grins lazily at Stitch.
"I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess you're not looking for Restore Mana potions, Pigtails."

Hardy har har, Alice. ... Sorry, you probably don't get that reference either... *Stitch keeps looking, going over the entire apartment until she gets to a wardrobe in Bree's bedroom.* .... Oh hell no. He wouldn't, that's so cliched... *She opens the wardrobe and raps three times on the back.... which slides open into the wall, revealing a dirt tunnel that realistically should not fit in the building.* Found it!

SANCTUARY! *Stitch does her Quasimodo impersonation.* C'mon, follow me. Mind the vines, and look out for the climb up. *And with that, Stitch heads down the tunnel.*

After a (sort of) good night's sleep and thoroughly exploring the treehouse, Bree settles into the kitchen in the Southie apartment. She empties her duffel onto the counter and counts out her primary and components into neat piles. She inventories her spell load, reads through her spell books, and works some magic.
What surprises her is that after each casting, her mana load feels full within seconds. Her storage feels vaguely the same, but she doesn't feel brave enough to push the limit just yet.
She loads up on spells, including a few of her more obscure Landwalker spells, then frowns at the dwindling number of component vials on the counter. This....could be a problem.

*Stitch yawns and stretches as she wakes up from her cat nap. Or bat nap as the case may be, seeing as she's hanging from the rafters. In one acrobatic motion she pulls herself up and flips down to the apartment floor below, landing about a yard or so from Bree.*
Morning, Witchykins. Whatcha doing?
