Duncan starred at the device sitting on the table next to him as it rang but made no move to answer it. The last time he'd tried answering a phone it had been a bit of a disaster. He didn't speak enough to carry on a conversation so he only ended up agreeing with what was said to him before going to try to find the person the caller actually wanted to talk to. By the time he had the caller had already hung up and frustrated Duncan had made sure the phone would never call anyone again.

He looked around himself, trying to spot June. One would think it easy given the look of the man. He had tattoos, strange hair but everything he had that made him different outside their home helped him to blend in with the crowd inside. The boy fidgeted when the phone continued to ring then finally reached a clawed hand over to it and picked it up. He would hope for it being a wrong number, then he could hang up, "Hello?" He said into the mouth piece.

Duncan lowered the phone down so that he could stare at it in surprise before he lifted it back up to his ear to listen very closely. How was it that the phone knew his name? He should hang up now before it learned any thing more that it might not need to know... the woman's voice sounded somewhat familiar to him thought which was a problem. He couldn't hang up on someone he knew could he?

"Yes." He said finally, answering her question that he was in fact Duncan. He sat down on the floor to listen carefully for the person on the other end of the phone to say something more, to give clues as to who she was and what she might want. His metallic wings gave a soft, chiming sound behind him as he tapped them together.

Duncan nearly dropped the phone he was holding when he heard another voice, this one he knew instantly. It was that crybaby boy from the park! His three eyes widened before they narrowed slightly. Wait that meant that woman was his mother, the one that he didn't know if he wanted to trust. If she got together with his father again then there was a danger that they would start talking again. No doubt they would talk about 'that place' more too.

He didn't want to risk having to go back there, if his father went then the chances he would be brought along were to high for his liking. He blinked his trio of eyes realizing he'd not said anything despite Adriel speaking to him, "Yes." He finally said, to answer the question posed to him. He was still Duncan and he was still here despite his silence.

He should be happy though, given his tone it didn't sound like Adriel was crying. That was a good thing, "Hello." He added, realizing he should greet the boy as well. It was only common courtesy he'd been told by one of the various people that lived in the same house as him and his father.

Duncan blinked, as he drew the phone back to look at it again. Well it was safe to assume that this device had to be magic. After all Adriel thought that he was in the phone and he'd been thinking about the same thing about the other demon. Strange device... he shook it just in case though, as if that would cause Adriel to fall out of the phone at his end. When that wasn't the case he lifted the phone back up to his hear to listen.

"Talking." He answered for being his reason for being in the phone... or at least least on it.

"Hey Duncan, who ya talking to little guy?" A voice asked causing the boy to turn around.

He starred up at the brightly colored woman that was one of his roommates before tightening his hold on the phone before he found himself holding it out to her. He wasn't sure why he was giving the phone away though... just that he couldn't keep it from her, "Adriel." He said quietly.

She blinked, not knowing that name, "Hello?" She chirped into the phone, "Is someone there?" She wanted to make sure there was someone there or if he were just playing with the phone.

The woman blinked when she realized the voice belonged to someone young, how had the pair who were both rather little able to figure out the phone? She tilted her head and was about to say something more when another voice came over the receiver, "Ahh? Hahahaha. Oh, my June is getting a call from a Lady? At last my friend is growing up." She said in an almost dramatic way before giggling.

Duncan starred up at Akuji wondering what that meant, looking a little confused but he reached up to tug on her sleeve, "Adriel?" He asked of her, glancing at the phone.

"No, Adriel isn't there right now." She told him before she held it out to him, "Here hold this. Juuuuuuuuuune! Theres a girl on the phone for yoooooooooooooooou!" One could hear her as she moved away from the phone to go searching.

Duncan blinked then lifted the phone up to his ear once more, "Hello?"

Duncan held the phone, listening as the woman was talking again to him and he gave the phone a dark look. He was supposed to be talking with Adriel but all of these women were getting in the way of that he thought to himself, "Adriel." He said, his tone a bit demanding. He was hoping she would hand the phone back to the other boy but didn't know if there was a good chance of it.

He didn't really want to give the phone up again, wanted to wait for Adriel to come back but... then June was standing there behind him and he gave a growling sound. He clutched the phone to his chest for a moment, two thoughts seemed for a moment to conflict within him before he held the phone out and he barred his teeth.

"Thank you Duncan." He said, patting the boy on the head before he lifted it up, "Hello?"

It had only taken a long while but finally, finally Jayoku was able to get June on the phone.

June gave a smile, "Yes, I remember you." He said, wondering if she had actually thought that he would have forgotten the meeting with her. It had been rather interesting since her boy and his had seemed to get along with one another... well sort of. When they weren't fighting, crying, or panicking they seemed to at least.

Duncan was starring up at his father with all three eye, waiting patiently because he wanted the phone back, wanted Adriel's voice to come back as he had enjoyed talking with him even if he could be a bit of a cry baby...

"How are things?" June asked, "Everything with your boy going well?" They had talked about meeting again, letting their kids talk, and going to talk with the scientists once more as well about these kids. He wasn't sure about what he thought of people that would create life like it were some sort of experiment...
