Okay, this friend of mine kind of just told me he likes me, but I don't feel the same way and he's 6 years older than me.
We met on the internet. Like...I don't do that whole long distance relationship interweb thing.
But, man it was awkward. Oh god help me.

If you feel that way, tell him long distance relationships aren't your thing, and you think he's a little old for you.
Pretty much exactly what you said to us.
It'll be even more awkward if he think's you're leading him on or something.

At least it is not as awkward as it would be face to face.
Just be kind in telling him you don't feel the same way.
Now I will destroy him.

This is simple o.o; Be honest with him! gonk Just tell him exactly what you told us, and hopefully his feelings won't be hurt, and maybe ask to still be friends, though.
