Currently this is an RP for Insiko (owned by me), Oora, and Haru (owned by Angel Clauidi). For the time being it is for them. Should we decide to let in their brothers, friends, and family, we will open the rp. ~~~~~~~~~ After some time walking, a fairly large clearing opened up before them. A little ways off from the treeline stood a medium sized wood and stone building sort of similar in construction to a longhouse. Outside the main building stood a partially fenced in area with enough room for a garden, a firepit, maybe a clothesline, and a few other things. There was also a small outbuilding in the form of a yurt. Insiko took a deep breath and sighed, before shifting his gaze over to Oora and Haru. "Well, this is home. I'm still hammering out the details, but it is basically done. I built it with my own two hands and magic...er, well, Brother dropped by and helped me for like one day, but he hasn't seen the finished product. He just help me set up some support beams. What do you think?"
He was definitely proud of his handiwork and he was anxious to learn what Haru and Oora especially thought of it.

Oora just stood there, staring at it. It was beautiful. She looked over at Siko, in shock. "It's beautiful!" was all she could manage, in a whisper. She smiled at him. "I love it." she turned back to stare at the house some more. She really was impressed.
Smiling, the little Centaur let go of Oora's hand. Haru trotted twords the house a little ways, then plopped himself down into a sitting position. He looked a Siko, raising his hand in approval.

Siko gave a relieved laugh. "Heh, thanks, you guys. It means a lot to hear that from you. I'm proud of it." He nodded and smiled. "Do y'all wanna go see the inside? I made it so there would be plenty of room to move around. Oh, I forgot to mention...um, some of the time while I was building it was still pretty cold so I used my magic to help start a fire." Siko paused and cleared his throat slightly embarrassed. "I got a fire going, but it wasn't the only thing that I got. I accidentally summoned a small fire spirit too. I don't know how to send him back, so he's been hanging around my hearth since then."
The young cattaur gave a sheepish chuckle. "He's not a bad fellow. A bit hot tempered every now and then, but he's alright."

Oora cocked her head for a minute, trying to figure out what he meant by fire spirit. "I think it would be great to see the inside, and the spirit doesn't sound so bad..." she was a little unsure of her words. She called Haru over. When he approached, she noticed that he was getting taller... almost as tall as her...
Ears perked up, Haru ran to Oora and Siko. He liked Siko, and liked his house. He didnt know why he didn't always enjoy Siko's company at all times, he guessed he could be a little jealous.

Siko smiled and nodded. He too noticed that haru seemed to be getting bigger. "Okay then. Let's do this!" He clapped his hands together and lead them to the door, which Siko had painted a gray blue on a whim. He pushed open the door and held it open so Oora and Haru could enter first. In the very center there stood a hearth and in it looked to be a steadily going little fire, but it seemed to move around in the hearth.
There were three large support columns rising up to the vaulted ceiling. The wooden shutters were open, letting in more sunlight. Smooth river stones were pressed into the soil to create a basic cobble stone floor. It looked as if it was waiting to be filled with funiture and activity. "Well, this is it. I need to build funiture still. I've been sleeping in the yurt. Quite cozy in there. Still debating whether or not just to make that my bedroom." He gave a little laugh. "What do y'all think?"

Once again, Oora was caught staring at her surroundings. She took a few steps inside, feeling Haru close behind. She walked to the fire, inspecting it from what she felt a safe distance. "So this is a spirit?" she could tell it was alive. It gave off a strange feel. She smiled at it "Hello" she greeted it calmly.
Haru looked at his surroundings. He didn't even really know why he came along, but the house was nice... without furniture it seemed kind of boring. He watched his older sister talk to a moving fire.. How did it do that? Was it some sort of magic?

Siko moved in and closed the door behind him. He ran a hand down one of the thick support beams as he looked around at his house. It wasn't quite a home yet. He needed to make furniture for the space. A bookcase, some storage space, and if he decided to sleep in here, some beds. A table or two would also be needed. He gave a wistful sigh and shook his head at catching Oora's question. "Hm? Oh, yes. He is." He nodded.
The fire spirit turned at being addressed, the flame around it flickering slightly. Its form varied from a ball of fire to a tiny version of a human or sometimes a taur. "Ah, kitty boy brought some guests! 'Bout time! This place is so quiet when its just the two of us. Conversation can only carry me so far. How do!"
Siko groaned softly at the fire's ranting. "His name is Eaxipil. Or at least that's what he told me."

Oora laughed "I'm Oora, and I'm pleased to meet you, Eaxipil. I'll try to make things less quiet, then." she nodded, half to herself. She sat down, infront of the him. He caught her interest. Her tail flicked happily behind her. She wanted to learn everything about this place, and that included Eaxipil, so she felt like she needed to talk to him.
Haru looked at the space. He decided it was about time to say something. "It's a little empty..." He said quietly, but loud enough for them to hear. "Do you need help filling it in?" he looked fairly emotionlessly at Siko.
Oora turned around, staring open-mouthed at Haru. It was about time he said something, but she didn't expect him to say anything yet... it completely caught her off guard. She couldn't take her attention off of Haru.

Eaxipil glowed brightly for a moment. "Well good! Don't get me wrong, the kid makes a decent conversationalist, but his head has been getting lost in the clouds lately. Fade off in the middle of a sentence and look out a window and sigh. Say, you wouldn't happen to be why, would ya?" The fire grinned broadly.
Siko blushed and some of his fur fluffed up. "Eaxipil, c'mon now." He cleared his throat and smiled brightly at hearing Haru speaking. The cattaur even gave a little laugh at Oora's reaction. He nodded. "Yes, I do. I don't quite know what I will need to make it feel homey. If you want to help, that'd be great." Siko gave a nod and a smile Oora's way. He was just as surprised to hear the centaur speak, but he was glad that he was talking again.
The fire spirit looked at the group of teens. "What's the deal? The boy talked. S'not like its news, is it?"

"It's about the first time he's talked, especially in a full sentance... I think he's only ever said 'hi' once before." Oora shook her head, smiling. She turned back to the fire. "I'm not 100% sure why Siko was like that, but I believe it had something to do with me." She grinned back at Eaxipil.
Haru walked around a bit, taking in even more of his surroundings, picturing differnt things in the room. "Well, you could do with a table, for starters." he nodded to himself, picking up that habbit from Oora. "and a few of the basics, like some sort of cupboard, maybe a few cabinets?

Insiko nodded at Haru's words, envisioning what all he needed to make his house a home. He didn't want it to feel crowded, but he knew that he needed a few things. "Yeah, I get that. Hm. I believe I'll make the yurt the sleeping quarters. It's ever so comfy in there. Warm in the winter, cool in the summer. Plenty of space to sprawl." He sighed and nodded. "Yep, sounds good. Of course, there should at least a guest bedding area in here. There's still a decent sized pile of wood out behind the yurt. We ought to be able to build something with it."
"Ohh," Eaxipil said. "Quiet fella then?" The fire laughed and slapped a knee. "I knew it! I knew it had something to do with a gal, and you're the one he kept describing to me. Talking of y'alls adventures here and there in the snow." He lowered his voice and moved to the edge of the hearth's firepit. "I get the impression that he's quite head over heels for ya. You stolen his heart, you sly cat." He gave another laugh and leapt back to the center of the hearth cackling.

Blushing slightly, Oora gave a quiet laugh. "The adventures were fun... I didn't know what snow was back then.". She liked the fire spirit, from the way Siko talked about him, she didn't expect him to be like this. "So it's that bad?" she tried to keep her voice quiet so Siko wouldn't hear, but didn't mask the laughter in her voice. She gave a thoughtful look "Well, its not really stealing if he has mine, is it?".
"That sounds alright." Haru was still running things through his head. "Well, do you want to get started with what wood you have? We can always get more if we need it.". He started to walk to the door, looking back at Siko. He noticed, in his own voice, that he was starting to show more emotions.

Siko was walking around with Haru and followed him to the door. " Let's use up the wood that I have now before we go get more. I don't want to get more than I need. That'd be wasteful. Although, having a little extra wood could be useful for when winter comes again." Siko moved to the side and opened the door. Siko could see that it'd be a bit of work, but it would be worth it. He looked back over his shoulder at Oora, sitting next to the hearth, whispering with Eaxipil. He gave a little smile and wondered what they were talking about.
Eaxipil blinked. "No! You didn't know what snow was? Huh. Wow." He gave a little crackling laugh. "Well, if he's already stolen your heart then I suppose its only fair that you have his. The lad is loopy for ya. I mean, look!" He kept his voice low and flicked his hand in the direction of the door.

Oora could feel Siko's eyes linger on her for a little bit. She nodded "I know... he told me" she gave a smile back at Siko. "Siko taught me what snow was, and he tried to teach me how to skate... it didn't work out too well. I just recently learned how to use magic, too. I've always been a little slow. I guess it runs in the family, eh?" she laughed a little.
Haru nodded, "You're right. It would probably be better to wait until it was closer to winter to start worrying about gathering wood for it.". Haru allowed Siko to lead the way to the wood, since he wasn't too sure where to go yet. "So what exactly shall we make today?" He smiled at Siko. Maybe Siko wasn't what he thought he was.

Siko bowed out of the house and gently closed the door behind him and Haru. He turned and lead Haru to the wood pile out back, then clapped his hands together and heaved a big sigh. "Well, let's see. Well, how about we start with a table. We need something to eat off of. Then we can work from there." He nodded with a smile.
Eaxipil bobbed his head from side to side. "Well, that was kind of him. Personally, I'd never get anywhere near ice. Much too chilly for my liking." He made a thoughtful whistling sound. "Bah, everyone has their own pace. I've heard that patience is a virtue. I wouldn't know, of course. Too impatient. Much." The fire grinned.
