 It was a gorgeous day, the skies were sunny and clear, the ground wasn't so snow bound as a young colt wandered aimlessly about his home. Though he had wandered farther away then he had been warned not to. But what was he to do? There wasn't that much exciting things about the place, none that he could see. Anyways, he wanted to go out and explore, he would be home before dark, he always was... Some of the time.
"No I want to go this way." He spouted out to thin air. "We went that way yesterday, I want to go this way." The colt stomped glaring upon something that apparently only he could see. "Then go that way, I'm going this way."
So he did, turning toward where the sun had risen from, Eton started walking. Head raised high and ears twitching, he stumbled a little bit as he wasn't exactly watching where he was going and tripped up over a loose stone or something, though he turned quick and glared at the air behind him, his short stubby wings flailing at his sides.
"What? get scared?" he asked the air, "Serves you right, you know your aways scared of everything." Eton muttered turning around again, his ears still folded back against his skull, softly muttering other things under his breath...

 Uni slowly made her way through the area, trotting quietly as she watched the birds fly over head, bright pink eyes darting back and forth, but the birds were too fast for her to follow for long. She continued on, now looking towards the horizon, but she didn't have long to look before she heard someone talking.
Her ears flicked back to listen, but it was a one-sided conversation, with only one voice. 'How strange' she thought. But strange or not, she wanted a closer look, she turned to follow the one voice, and it wasn't long before she found it. Peaking out from between two bushes, she saw a colt, not much younger than herself, and no one else. 'It couldn't hurt to go talk to him' She thought, wondering if he was just lonely and wanted someone real to talk to. "Hello." She said, pushing her way between the bushes, her head cocked to one side.

Eton came to sliding halt, as his ebony sides heaving gently as his pastel gaze looked around, apparently his prey had fled from his sights... Whatever it had been, if it was real in the first place. Dark ears turned themselves toward the sounds of someone else that happened upon his play ground of sorts. Turning his head he spotted the one. A filly, much like his own sister, though very, very different as his sister was more purple and didn't have a... Whatever it was sticking out of her forehead, also this one didn't have wings like his own.
"Where did you come from?" he asked not quite acknowledging the greeting that had come his way. "I didn't know there were others out here, I though I was all alone... Well alone besides Smit..." He looked around. "Where ever he had gotten too..." Eton muttered more quietly and to himself. "Oh and hi." He pipped now sensing that he might have started off on the wrong ah... Hoof.

'Where did I come from? Good question, wish I knew.' She thought, knowing it wasn't the answer he was looking for, watching intently until he said 'Hi' back. "I came from the forest, and I knew there was someone else around, I heard you talkin'. Who are you talkin' to?" She asked, before casting a glance for the creature he called Smit, what ever Smit may be. "I am Uni. Who are you?" She asked, stepping out of the bushes fully, flicking the brambles out of her long whippy tail.

Head tilting to one side, Eton blinked at the uni a she glanced around looking for his Smit? Well of course no one could see him, only Eton could see him. Ears twitched backward, his head turned sharply to the side to which he snapped at the air at his side. More pointedly snapping at the unsee able Smit whom was poking him in the side.
"I'm Eton, and I was talking to Smit. My little friend here." He smiled moving a hoof to point at the space of air where Smit was supposed to have been. "The little bugger never seems to want to leave me alone for some reason." At this he frowned slightly. "It is nice to meet you Uni, do you live around here?"
Looking back over his shoulder, Eton had pulled himself back to his hooves and fluffed out his small wings a little. Home was back that way he knew, but how far? That he didn't know, nor did he seem to care at this moment, he was interested in meeting this strange filly with the pointy thing on her face...

How strange, she thought, a friend only he could see. "I don't really live any where for long, I travel almost everyday." She said flicking her long tasseled tail behind her. "Do you live here?" She asked, since she was unsure where would be a good place to go next, it would be nice to know what might be in the area.
