It was Saturday afternoon, and weekly shopping time for Anastasia and her little one. They'd already been to the grocery store, the bookstore, and the gamestore; this was the last stop before they would be done. The halfling sighed, pushing a cart around the petshop as she got the items on her list. *Dog food, got it. New leash, check. Dog tags, check.* Stasia counted off in her head, looking at the list in her hand. She then noticed at the bottom, there were some scribbles and what looked like some badly drawn runes. She looked at the little girl walking beside her. "Nataya, want to read Mommy the last thing on the list?" the 'teen' asked, wondering what the child wanted from a petshop.
Nataya, who was wearing the new dress her Uncle Matthias had bought her, grinned as she took the list from her mother, resting it on her plum as she walked by the cart. "Okay! Nat-ya read to Mommy!" she said, looking at it. "Hmm.....gets bedding an 'ittle houses an food bowls an water bowls an toys for Jenzi an Vesi an T'nigh'ess an Thes an...." The toddler proceeded to name all sixteen of the little puffballs that had appeared at their house, grinning. "Isn't wight, Mr. Binkles?" the child asked, looking at one of her belled sleeves. A little ball of tan fur rolled out of her sleeve and onto the floor next to the child, meeping a bit.
Stasia smiled. "Alright, honey, let's see what we can find." she said, chuckling. Silently, though, she wondered how Nataya had managed to bring one of those.....things...with her. Oh well, she could worry about that later. She started walking again, not noticing that the little one wasn't following her.
Nataya had stopped, to busy watching the fish in the large display aquarium. "Ooooh....." she said, looking at all the colorful and exotic water creatures the pet store had to offer. She then bent down, picking Mr. Binkles up so he could see the fishies, too! "Pwettyfull!" she said to herself, giggling as she watched them swim about. She'd have to ask Mommy to let her bring home some of the colorful pwettyful little....things. And ask her what they were. She began to wander down the aisle, her eyes looking around in wonder at all of the different animal's this petshop had to offer.

The faint tune of "By A Waterfall" caught the ears of the little plum fairy, and as it grew louder and louder, the voice singing it became more familiar.
In strode Annabel, in her usual art-deco outfit, and Casia, who stood at Anna's hip, continuing to sing. She wore a little blue skirt (that seemed to remind one of a Japanese schoolgirl) and a white collared shirt with a pale red, somewhat Beatle-esque jacket over it. The store's clerks stared at them in confusion as the little siren finished up the song. "There's a magic melody," she cooed, her hands laced together in front of her. "Mother Nature sings to meeeeee! Beside a waterfall wiiiith you!" A few chirps rang out, causing the girl to jump in fright. What was that?! Her guardian glanced down at her, smiling. "Everything's fab Cassy, we've wandered into a pet store, I do believe," she reassured, nodding her head. The two looked around, staring in wonder at the animals: dogs, cats, fish, birds, and even reptiles!

Nataya blinked, looking towards the sound of the singing. She then walked up the aisle, peeking to look at whoever just entered the store. A smile spread across her face as she recognized the blonde girl.
"Case-uh!"
The little fairy grinned, running over to her friend to greet her. About halfway there, she tripped over her own feet, sprawling onto the floor, her plum and Mr. Binkles rolling the rest of the way to Casia. The little puffball hopped onto the siren's shoe, meeping once. Nataya pulled her self back up, rubbing her chin where it had hit the floor; that was going to leave a bruise. She then blinked, noticing something about her friend. "You bigger!" she said, sounding surprised as she walked over to pick her plum and Mr. Binkles up. She then looked at Anna and grinned. "Hi, ma'am!" she said, giggling once.

The clumsy pronunciation of the siren's name caused her to turn quickly and see who called her. However, as the fluffball leapt onto her foot, she panicked and let out a yelp of surprise, hitting an F sharp at the same time. Casia kicked her foot wildly, causing her shoe to fly off and hit the ceiling, nearly breaking a fluorescent light. As a result, she fell over, bewildered as to what just happened.
Blinking at this little girl who stood in front of her, she stuttered a bit in shock. "N-Na... Nataya?!" she exclaimed, standing up to dust her clothes off. "I haven't seen you since we all got chickenpox!" By now, the little siren was grinning from ear to ear, and knelt down to give her friend a deep hug. At the sugar plum fairy's comments, she blushed lightly and folded her arms behind her. "I-I'm not that much bigger.... Oh! Nataya, this is Anna, my mommy."
At her siren's introduction, Annabel knelt down to wave at the other cabbage child. "How's it hanging, little hep cat?" she asked, before noticing the plum. "Woah, is that plum real? It's pretty cherry!"

Nataya winced at the yelp, not used to loud noises. She then grinned, hugging the older girl tightly. "Nat-yah missed'd you. Glad to see you, Case-uh." she said, looking up at the siren. She then giggled, nodding. "Yes! Case-uh bigger than Nat-yah now." she said, looking serious for a moment before a smile spread back across her little face. It was like she couldn't keep a smile off of her face for more than a moment.
The little toddler turned her head, her grin widening as she looked at Anna, her little hand waving back. "This one fine." she said, her tone cheerful. She then nodded. "Nat-yah's plum real an nummy....an not a cherry." she said, looking a bit confused at Anna's last statement. Her plum was a plum, not a cherry. Didn't the grown-up know that?
Mr. Binkles was currently rolling around in circles on the floor, ignoring all of them.
