Seira sat alone in the normally crowded living living room, looking outside the window and watching the snow cover the ground of the pound. She was getting tired mentaly from trying to fix her broken family of her own, the time she had without worry helped a great deal.
As she watched the snow fall she also thought about the family she was born into, sure it was a whole but one person was always missing. Her other father Evander. Sure she's met him like twice but to her she wanted to spend some acual time with him, get to know her father better.

Grumbling to himself as usual, Evander wandered restlessly from room to room of the pound, unable to find any place suitable to relax. He had spent a long day with Konstantine, who somehow still found a way to be equally exasperating as he had been as a child; He still wanted to spend a lot of time with his father, as well, something that Evander hadn't really expected. None of the rest of his children were this... High maintenance. Sure, he loved Kon enough, but he also liked to have a bit of time to himself. Boy needs to go get laid, he thought to himself. ... Er, again, he added as the image of some of his grandchildren came to mind. He nearly shuddered at the thought of grandchildren. How he had gotten so many of those, he would never know. Luckily, they didn't demand much of his attention either. Sighing and rubbing at his aching temples, he paused in the doorway of the living room, a familiar brown and white fox sitting at the window.

Seira didn't notice his preasence as she was to caught up in her thoughts and intranced by the falling snow, until she bagan to trace the path of one and saw his reflection in the window. It seemed so familar to her yet so new. Seira turned to see who the fox in the doorway was and paused, highly surprised.
"...Dad?"

"Ahhh... Yeah," Evander managed to stutter out, shocked as he was to run into his daughter. "Long time no see... How've you been?" Feeling slightly out of his element, he found himself reverting to pleasantries, something that normally came awkwardly to him.

"I've been better but living day by day I guess, what about for you? Is Konstantine still a trouble maker?" She asked as she sat up straight, nervous that this was only about the third time she got to see her father.
Seira's blue eyes examined Evander like someone compleatly new to her, she could see obviously he was tired from the day.

He could feel his face flush slightly as she scrutinized him. He hoped his dark brown spots would conceal the extra color. Clearing his throat, he replied, "Oh, Kon hasn't changed a bit, trust me..." He smiled a little at the thought, even though the little squirt tended to bug him.

She shook her head and laughed a bit, "Can't help but love him though, no matter what kind of trouble he may cause." Seira took a deep breath in and looked back to the window. "What about for you? How are you doing?"

"Oh, definitely," he replied, nodding his agreement. "At least he's gotten over his habit of clinging to strangers' tails. He still likes to use mine as a fluffy cushion though." He snorted a bit at that memory, then stood a little straighter and took a couple steps into the room. "Me?" He blinked at the question, seeming to find it a slightly odd one. He wasn't asked very often how he was. "I'm alright, I suppose. And you?"

Seira let out a small laugh, "Why dosen't he cling onto his own tail...? His is equally fluffy." Seira looked over at him and moved over some, making room just in case he wanted to sit down. "I'm living."

Evander blinked a bit at her suggestion. "You know... I'd never really thought of that. He probably hasn't either. He doesn't have quite as sharp a mind as you do," he said, laughing a little. Awkward as he felt doing so, he would have felt slightly rude not sitting after she had clearly moved in order to make room, so he walked slowly across the room and sat himself down at her side. "Living, eh? That sounds like quite a glass half-empty outlook."

"Well a lot has happened to make me see life as half empty I guess.."
She looked down and sighed, if only he knew the half of it then it would make it easier for her to explane everything else instead of all in full which would lead to making her more depressed.

The snake-spotted fox had always had an odd knack for picking up subtle undertones, and this situation was no exception. He could tell she wasn't willing to get into all of the details, so he decided not to press. He couldn't help but start to realize that there wasn't a whole lot of damage control he could do at this point that would make up for everything that had (Or hadn't, as was the real issue) happened, and so he decided to settle for at least trying to have a decent (Read: Existent) relationship from now on.
Clearing his throat, he nodded. "Yeah, I can understand that. I guess I just try to stay optimistic, no matter what happens."
(( Mm, super late reply. xD;;; ))

Seira looked at Evander and nodded as he did, the least she could do was crack a smile for him. After all he was her dad and she loved him all the same, plus he never really saw her smile...ever.
"I always keep a postitve outlook on things around people, makes them worry less." She replied as her smile dissapeared, scratching the back of her head.

Tilting his head a little, he brought one hand up to awkwardly pat her shoulder. He was never great at this physical contact stuff. And girls supposedly needed this more than boys; He'd only ever raised a boy, and while Kon was a little... Special... All he really ever required was a fluffy tail to cling to. No matter though, he'd give it a shot.
"Just making people worry less isn't a good reason to act positive, though," he replied, frowning.

The simple gesture of a hand on her shoulder made her smile again. Seira's gaze focused one the floor as she swong her legs back and forth like she would when she was little, old habbits never die.
"I guess I just hate when people worry about me, I've always hated it..."
