=_= I hate unmanageable hair.
I have long hair, right?
And whenever I get out of the shower, it turns all wavy and puffy. And straightening it is an utter b***h.
Because I have to leave a bit down, put the rest in a clip, take some more hair down, put it in a clip, straighten it, etc etc, until I'm done! I'm usually done about an hour later. gonk
And at school, I am constantly brushing it. My hair has to be nice, long, straight, clean and perfect. D: Or else I'm paranoid for the whole day.
And I should be dying it again soon. ;-;
My roots are showing. Blond roots against dark brown is just... Ugh.
So.
Any of you have unmanageable hair? May it be in the morning when you wake up or when you're out of the shower?
What do you do with your hair?
How do you usually wear your hair?
Proud of your hair? Or would you rather have different hair?

  I cut my hair recently (In Dec... ) Maybe not so recent o.o;; But I have to blow dry my hair And if I'm not lazy, flat iron it I HATE washing my hair now Because of it Im lazy, so I only do two sections, front and back, Har har My back comes out way better than front D: My hairs like shoulder length D: And it's nappy =(

OMG! I have extremely similar hair to you! My hair used to be really curly when I was little, then really straight, then now its this poofy, wavy, frizzy (plus layer of ugly crimp frizz on bottom) mess! I am too lazy to straighten it all the time, and also I don't want to damage my hair more than it probably already is, in hopes that I'll be able to get it back to normal someday.
I'm afraid to get it cut short in fear it will just go...MEGA-POOF.

I love my hair. C: Sorry to rain on your girlies hair hatin' parades, but my hair's pretty nice.
It's a nice shade of dark chocolate as my mom says, it's layered, maybe 3-4 inches past my shoulders, and I got it cut about a year ago, like about a foot off, and now it's great. It had been so ucky 'cause I wanted to grow it out for Locks of Love (I donated 11 inches). I don't ever really use any heat on it unless I don't take a shower in the morning and my hair is all creased from sleeping on it.
I leave my hair down, like all the time. I might put in a headband or maybe a clip for decoration/outfit matchiness, but besides that I go plain. And it looks pretty nice. Except then I have to brush it after Science everyday because it sometimes gets frizzy or just really stupid. So yeah. But I love my hair. <3333

You need to cut your hair, Grinny! I mean, really, if you want it to be more managable and not take an hour to iron... cut it!
I used to have really long hair. I swore I would never let it get that way again, but it's heading there...
I didn't not like it because it was hard to mange, though, just because I wanted a more punk-er look, and long hair just doesn't do that. My hair is uber-thick and wavy. I don't bother to do anything with it, just wash it. I've wanted to use a straightner, but I don't have one and I don't really wanna buy one...
But yeah. I don't do much with my hair. It poofs, but I bought I kind of shampoo that keeps it mostly under control.

That happened to me too!
When I was young, I had a perm.
And then about grade seven and eight, I grew it out, and it was so straight. It was like... my dream hair.
And then I got it layered, and now whenever I wash it, it's all wavy!
GRRR.

i have long hair, but it's naturally straight
my only problem is tugs >.< i hate brushing my hair 'cos it gets tuggy so easily, and owie emo

The most I'll cut it to is past my shoulders, and although it is kind of hard and annoying to straighten it every time I get out of the shower, I wouldn't want it any other way, really.
I'm just annoyed about the lengthly time and how I don't get some strands straight, no matter how I try. D:

Yeah, my hair gets knotty too.
But luckily for me it isn't as bad as it was in grade eight. I had to cut a knot out of my hair, since I couldn't brush it out.

The hair style I go round with is messy.
Basically, I only brush my hair before I wash it.
And then I don't wash it often either. >.>

Well my whole family got the 'get out of the shower and it looks gorgeous so I don't even have to brush it' hair.
And there theirs me.
I got ALL the volume in my family,
except on the back of my head.
The hair on the back of my head is completely straight,
while the hair on the side of my head is CRAZY.
I have earmuffs.
It's pretty bad.
I straighten my hair in the morning too.

You know, it was when I finally surrendered the battle to my (incredibly edibly long, curly, poofy, fuzzy, afro-wannabe) air that it finally started to look pretty damn awesome.
Yeah, I do have constant sex hair, but wtfever. It makes me happy.
That, and I'm a dirty hippie, so. I may shower, but I let the locks flow, yo.
Just a thought.

My hair is pretty long - past the middle of my back by about an inch or so. The tips [about four inches] are dyed pink. They were purple, but they faded the next day. Lmao. Anyway. It's silky and soft and I love it. *Gasm* I brush it before I get in the shower, and when I get out I wrap it in a towel, get ready, then I take it out of the towel, brush it, and I'm on my way. :] I'm so lucky that my hair dries straight. xD I have to constantly brush it, though, because it gets messy easily. I'll be cuddling with Pat on my bed while watching a kids movie, like Happy Feet or Cars or something, then I'll get up and my hair is like, "WHABAMSEXHAIR." But when we do stuff, my hair stays pretty much the same. Lmao. I get sex hair when I watch kids movies but not when I have sex! O_o;;

To be honest, the obsession some girls have with making sure their hair is ironed straight puzzles me. :/ My sister has straight hair, and she still insists on 'straightening' it more. What's wrong with letting your hair dry wavy or even curly? It would be a lot less stress of you and I bet it would look nice. It sounds like we have somewhat similar hair, and in high school, people used to tel me "oh, you should straighten your hair. It would look so nice!" Yeah, an hour to straighten it when I love it wavy? I don't think so.
My hair is wonderful, actually, and I love it to bits. It's pretty thick, so knots form easily, but it [usually] doesn't take me too long to get rid of them. In the morning when I get up, I just run a brush through it a couple times and put it into a ponytail and away I go. smile When I get out of the shower, I allow it to dry naturally, and since it is very wavy, big curls form. It looks like something you would get at the salon. That's how I wore it to my prom, honest!
I usually never wear my hair in any other styles than down, in a ponytail, or pigtails. Occasionally in two braids, but that's usually in summer. My hair is fairly long - it's down to the small of my back when it's wet. It's a light brown color that gets a lot of natural golden blonde in the summer, and I'm getting golden blonde highlights put in again in April for the summer.

My hair is gorgeous, people have told me. It's really long, and wavy, and if it was straightened it'd be to my a**, but it's at the bottom of my back instead xD
I hate having it in curls, but my mom insists on it =o= My hair takes to curls so much, but I hate having curls in my hair. Wavy is enough for me! Dx
My hair isn't that poofy. Sometimes if I use the wrong shampoo it'll get ridiculously frizzy, but most of the time it's manageable. I normally get alot of tangles in it though, so I have to brush my hair frequently or else it'll get really tangled >_> That also happens when I have sex hair.. xD It gets really tangled <_<
I don't think I could ever cut my hair.. ;-; Unless I cut off split ends. I want my hair to grow longer and longer so I can cosplay as Duo Maxwell rofl

I very literally cannot do anything with my hair. It's so straight if I curl it it all falls back to its natural state within an hour regardless of how much hair spray is used.
