My Paint scheme is - Black, Gray, Silver, a touch of gold/bronze here and there. Basically allot of urban incursions so they might have a bit of urban camo. Sadly still no icon has popped into my mind that screams I am the one. I am hoping for some ideas or inspiration.

I assume that you are using plastic Cadians for your army. The two most obvious questions would of course be:
1. How big is your army? A lot of mini's means an easy way to do things might be best.
2. How good are you at free hand painting of symbols?
Seeing as your army has the name "Silver Foxes" a modified Space Wolves logo comes to mind, maybe making a small cut out on paper that can be held over shoulder guards and armour for easy and quick application.

Something that might influence the design is the background of the army or the world they derive from. Cadians for example carry a stylized symbol that represents the Cadian Gate, with officers replacing the skull with a stylish eye. The men of Steel Legion have a round shoulder patch with a single lightning bolt on it, denoting their mechanized battle formations. Elysians on the other hand sport a system of stripes on the back of their helmets to denote rank and veteran status. Lastly, the Necromundan 8th, also known as the Spyders, sport facial tattoos of spiders.
Seeing as you mention them being urban warriors most likely I can imagine how the icon of sorts would not be in a bright colour, but rather blending in with the muted camo colours or being dulled with dust.

I Have fluff commin out of my ears, all 4 of my armys hail from the same system and fight or interact with each other. Ideas are starting to pirk now, thanks for bringing up the blending point, hehehe I'd a had some bright pirky look at me color Icon xd My other armys are The Strikers (space marines) The Ti' Gris' Sept (tiger scheme Tau) and Hive Fleet Arachis (8 legged tyranids) Bugs dont get a cool Icon cause well there bugs, my other two armys where easy, my IG are kicking my butt. Ill toy around some today, Ill keep ya updated and might post screen shots. 3nodding

The Paw print might be a good idea, on teeny soldiers its all dots, I could how ever use a paw print over the swipe marks with the troop Number in the center. Hmmm... Black shoulder pads red claw marks and a silver paw print on top of the claw marks. ::runs for photo shop:: *edit* ::runs back to gaia with Icon:: Ok so, finding claw mark art is next to impossible, but TY to deviant art.com for having a claw brush and TY to Google for having a pic of a fox print. And especially a really BIG TY , to you guys for helping me out with this. 3nodding
