Seriously, so many people now aren't even themselves. The punks who say stuff like, "We're real. All those preps who put on so much make-up and shop at Hollister are fake." Think about, aren't those people fake too? They dye their hair weird colors, and shop at Hot Topic. Not much of a difference is there? Right now in my school it's a fad to be vegan or vegetarian. All these self-claimed "punks" and "emos" all of a sudden are interested in animal rights. Don't get me wrong. I think it's a good thing to be a vegan or vegetarian, I myself just can't give up the meat. But all at once, all the people in the same clique start doing the same thing. Is it so hard to just be yourself? Just say, "This is what I like. If you don't like it then ******** you". It wasn't too challenging was it?

Word and respect on what you say, but what is real? What does it take to become real?

By being yourself and not acting like a douche bag.
