 Charlamagne sat in a random room in the shop, twirling her tail about her hands as she wondered something. She wanted to find a way to Laharl's castle to see him. This didn't mean she was having any particular trouble with Mariku, she hadn't seen him in quite some time. It was just that... after receiving the rose from him, she had this strong pining to see him again... at least, to thank him personally.
Now, her problem was, she didn't know how to get there, seeing it was in some remote location or in contact with Laharl to say that she wanted to come see him. But, if she remembered right from when he first took her there, he said that she could go to the castle whenever she saw fit. Or... was she just hearing what she wanted to hear? She quickly shook that thought out with a small blush. Perhaps she just confused herself when he said that she could stay as long as she wanted? She sighed at her predicament as she sat there and continued to think it over.

The usual overdramatic flair of thunder and lightening accompained Laharls usual means of getting from one place to another, teleportation. Landing outside the shop, he snorted as he looked up at it. Morgana had poked and prodded at him about that gift he gave his....friend and he tried to yell at her to leave him alone, that it meant nothing, but she gave him that look and he sulked because she could read him so friggin well.
He snorted and huffed again as he stomped his way inside, not sure if who he was looking for was even there, but not wanting to look desperate, he gave a half-assed glance around the living area and not even seeing anyone, he put a small frown on his face and stomped his way over to one of the recliners, flopping in a big one and slouching down, folding his skinny arms across his bare chest, red eyes glaring across the room.

Charl was about to give up on her search for an 'entrance' when her ears perked at a sound outside. Looking toward the door of the room she was in, she tried to see who or what it was that was making so much noise. Not being able to see anything, she finally stood up and walked out the room.
Upon taking a step out the room, the small audio paused a bit. Seeing familiar blue hair, she got both eager and nervous. She hasn't seen him in quite some time, so she didn't know what to say. Taking a small step closer, she was really tempted to go running up to him and pounce onto him, but she was certain he wouldn't like that too much. Tentatively, she made her way over to him. Once in front of the recliner he was sitting on, she greeted him softly. "Hello Laharl."

Shutting his eyes, the short Audio looked like he was asleep, but he was far from it actually. His 'antenna' twitched when he sensed someone nearby and when he found it wasn't a stranger, it took everything he had not to blush at realizing just who it was. But he didn't move a muscle when she slowly approached him and greeted him.
He didn't say anything for a moment, but he finally greeted her back, eyes still closed and arms still folded over his chest, "Hello Charlamagne."

She smiled slightly when he opened his eyes lightly, but it left when he closed them again. Her ears drooped as she made her way to a seat near him, wrapping her tail over her lap like she always does. She perked up just slightly when he returned her greeting. "H-how have you been? I haven't seen you in quite some time."

Laharl finally opened up his red eyes and looked over to her, ignoring his scarf as it seemed to reach for her, "Yea, well, I've been busy, being an Overlord is alot of work ya know!" he said, as if it was true fact, even though he usually was sleeping in his castle or lounging at Moochi's house with the others. "And what are you doing here anyway, aren't you with your boyfriend." he said, doing everything he could not to growl at that statement.

Charl smiled lightly when his scarf reached out to her. Reaching back, she seemed to pet it lightly, as if it was some sort of pet. She nodded when he explained what he was up to recently, tail flicking softly. When he asked why she wasn't with her 'boyfriend', she blushed furiously. "Boyfriend?! I don't have a boyfriend... who told you that?" She asked with a small wavering voice. "I'm only here because... well... I wanted to see you."

"Hmph, that isn't what I heard!" he grumbled, turning his head away and closing his eyes. The idea of Charlamagne having a boyfriend didn't sit all that well with him for some reason, and it made him angry. Yes, he was angry alot, but this was a different kind of anger and he didn't want to tell anyone or give anyone any hints, though he had a sneaking suspiscion that Morgana already knew cause she seemed to know everything!
He blinked when she said she came to see him and he looked at her with a little suspiscion, "And why would you want to see me?" he asked.

Her ears drooped when he turned his head away, letting go of his scarf to bury her hands under her tail. She looked down to her feet sadly, though she wondered who was spreading such lies about her. She didn't have anyone special in her life, she hasn't even seen many other audios lately either. "... W-well, whoever told you this is lying or got their information twisted." She said softly.
Her green eyes looked up quickly to see if he was even listening, only to see him looking at her as if she was plotting something. Blushing, she quickly looked back down and started to mess with her tail. "Well... because..." she paused, not knowing how to say this and wondering if he would even care, "... because I wanted to thank you personally for the rose you gave me." She finally added, going silent for a moment before whispering, "and... I missed you."

His face went red with a blush when she said that and he turned his head away. She missed him?! He didn't expect that, thinking she probably had another on her mind. And she was thanking him for that flower he picked up on a whim? "Y-your...welcome....and I guess...I missed you too...." he said, glancing over to her.

Charl's ears perked up at his words, especially the part where he said that he missed her too. Was he serious, or was he just playing with her heart? Looking up to him, her cheeks were full of color, tip of her tail wagging softly in hopes that it was true. "... R-Really? You missed me?"

Normally, he would have scoffed and laughed at them, mocking them and being a general a**. But a bit of color appeared on his cheeks as he looked over at her, looking a bit wary she would laugh at him, "Of course I did! Why would I lie about that!!" he said, turning his head away. He mumbled how silly girl always was on his mind.

At his question about lying to her, she stayed silent for a moment and shrugged. "I don't know. I just figured that being an Overlord and all, that you would have more important things to worry about than a worthless little audio like me." She answered, not looking up and poking two fingers together from underneath her tail.

Laharl snapped his head to look at her, red eyes flashing, "You're not worthless, don't say that again!! Anyone who says you are, I'll find them and kill them!!" he said, clenching his fists together tightly.

When he snapped at her, she jumped up and looked at him wide-eyed. Her fur had bristled up in response as she slowly curled up on herself slightly, looking down in shame. ".... I-I'm sorry.... I won't say it again." She whispered, though she still felt bad inside.
