Band is the greatest, most rewarding thing I've ever done. Never done cheerleading personally, as a guy, but I gave up basketball for it. And soda, I think that was harder... No. You're the most sane person on your cheerleading team.

Hell no... Cheerleading technically gives you no experience in anything but screaming... Band opens up many doors and also, you actual learn something...
And, in many cases, band isn't near as annoying as cheer leading is...

yes, you are crazy, and that is why cheer leading is not for you, i believe being at least a little crazy is another prerequisite to band!!

Personally, I'm baised towards band, but I know a few people who do both cheerleading and band. It's a heck of alot of work though.

I heart band lol... I'm not in cheerleading, but my friend is. She quit because the other cheerleaders kept making fun of her. Our band is awesome people stick together and suport eachother, its the best mrgreen .

Band is like a family to me. My band director is like my 2nd mother.
Band has opened up so many doors for me, such as scholarship oppurtunities. Also, all of my friends are in band, and they stick by me and we are all so close. Band is the best thing I have ever done. 3nodding

Okay, now, people may make fun of you, but get them to come to the later-in-the-season shows. It means more revenue for the band (if it's the home-show) and they will get to see what it's about.
Just don't let peoples' dissing you get to you...

no!!! u are soo not crazy for quitting the cheer squad,
and besides band is sooooo much better, funnier and loonier than cheerleaders could ever be!
(and personally i dont like cheerleaders, and band is way more fun!!!!)
and football games are a absoulte blast!!!!! ^^
u will have soo much fun!!!
