Entei paused, taking a deep breath from his long hike up the mountain. "Why did I feel like crossing the mountain..." he mumbled to himself. Creeping towards a face of the mountain, he glanced down and remembered how big it was. Huffing he shifted his weight as a crisp breeze brushed again him, shaking his head and mane he turned away from the edge.
Catching a hold of his breath he realized he wasn't that far from the top. "There had better be a path up there..." he shook himself, and took a few more steps before he caught a strange scent. He wasn't alone... he looked around at the small plateu(sp?) he was on. There were huge boulders around with few shrubery... 'Maybe it was carried by the wind...' he calmly pondered.
'Better safe then sorry...' he paused "Hello?" he called out unsure, if it would be answered.

For some reason unknown to Mahavir, he had woken up that morning feeling like a challenge. Maybe it was comfortable path of fallen leaves he had found to sleep on or the fact that he wait to sleep before the sun even went down, but something inside Mahavir told him to go out into the world and do something interesting today. But as it would happen the land he was in had absolutely not even a single hill on it. Well, it did have ONE hill. If you call a giant mountain a hill.
When Mahavir discovered this, a twing of worry shot through him. His brain kept telling him that it was too dangerous, but his legs erged him on; that was until after they turned to mush from all the uphill walking. As he neared the top, Mahavir was forced to sit and rest from exhaustion. While he sat huffing behind a bush, a voice came out of nowhere and nearly scared him to death. Mahavir thought he was the only one stupid enough to do this stunt so the last thing he was expecting was to meet someone.
Mahavir called back out to the voice, "Yes?"

He was slightly startled when he got a reply and backed up a little bit, quickly remembering there was cliff behind him. He steadied himself and walked back to where he was. 'So I'm not alone...' he pondered a bit on the sound of the voice '...definately not a mare...' and difinitaly not someone I know, he sniffed at the air. He looked around a bit more to see if he could locate the owner of the voice.
Shifting his weight to the side, he thought about the other ones motive. 'What would another Soquili be doing here...if he was one." He called out some more "What brings you here?" hoping to maybe strike a conversation, maybe then this stranger will show himself. He took a few more steps foreward and looked about while waiting a reply.
(I'll switch my color so it will be easier to seperate)

Mahavir stood dead in his tracks after replying to the other voice. He didn't know many other soquili who lived in these lands, so who the other voice could be was beyond him. Not to mention the voice was definitely male. He wasn't a womanizer or anything, but Mahavir hadn't met too many other males.
At the voice's next question Mahavir replied, "I um, just felt like climbing?" He couldn't really think of too much else to say. As he spoke, Mahavir moved around and tried to find the speaker. As he peaked around a bush, he spotted a large, maroon male. Mahavir laughed a little since the male had to crouch down in order to conceal himself. "Here you are!" He laughed, stepping foward.

He followed the voice and saw the other stallion emerged. Not as colorful as the last one but very intricate markings on his legs, and on his face. He had a long mane and tail of a darker color, and then there was the strange item around this stranger neck.
"Here I am" he joined in with the laughter be fefore continued "The weather is very good for climbing." He bowed his head respectivly towards the other stallion be fefore walking up to meet him. "My name is Entei..." he tilted his head "...and yours sir?"

As the other male recognized his presence, Mahavir tried to wrap his mind around his new aquantiance. The male seemed much larger than himself, but this could just be an illusion caused by all his interesting accessories. He wore a unique mask on his face, had some strange silver spike on his back, and a rough, untamed mane.
"My name's Mahavir. It's a pleasant suprise, you know, meeting you." He said, nodding his head towards Entei. "Wanna go to the rest of the way to the top?" Mahavir suggested, feeling slightly incomplete since he wasn't quite at the top yet.

He nodded back "Sure" he walked closer towards him "It should seem faster now that we can chat with someone else..." he laughed happily. He then stopped near the entrance to the path heading up. " It shouldn't take much longer to reach the top." He looked back to where Mahavir was and waited patiently for the stallion to join.

Mahavir nodded and followed behind the large stallion as they slowly made their way up. Mahavir was thankful for the larger male who would block any loose branches that would have otherwise wacked him in the face. As they walked along, Mahavir started to fill the surrounding area with chatter. "Do you live in this area?" Was the first question that came to mind.

"I live in an area similar to this" he laughed but I am prone for wanderlust, he looked back "I live a close to this area though" he nodded his head towards a direction straight behind them. Looking back at the stallion "How about yourself?"Then he turned his head back and continued moving, while listening behind him for a response.

Mahavir's ears perked up when Entei mentioned he liked to travel. Most horses he met couldn't understand why Mahavir wanted to spend all his time wandering around from place to place. But this is what Mahavir loved to do. One day he would be in the mountains, the next on the beach, and the day after that he could be in a desert! It didn't matter where he went as long as it was somewhere new and exciting.
"I live everywhere. Some places are similar to here, but some are completely different. The mountain air is very refreshing though." Mahavir stopped himself before he continued to ramble more.

He watched as the other stallions face perked up, and then smiled as he desribed his lifestyle. "That's the best place to live" he laughed "I've met so many that have traveled around told great stories of their adventures." He paused as he continued on "I hope as I travel that I too shall get many great stories." He continued to move again. He nodded "The air is indeed refreshing" he surveyed the landscape "Definitly not the best place to go hiking when it's snowing" he grinned at Mahavir "It would be quite the challenge."
