Two of my nephews are trying to talk to me at the same time. and neither of them will be quiet. XD It's hard trying to pay attention and reply to both of them. I don't like to ignore them, though, 'cause I remember how much it hurt my feelings when adults wouldn't listen to me when I was younger.
I still have that problem sometimes. It really gets on my nerves that "old" people don't want to listen to you just because you're young. So what if I'm only sixteen? I'm a good deal smarter and more sensible than many adults I've met.

I know what you mean. I always hate it when adults or peers don't take me seriously at first just because I look 14 (I'm 21). The only time they take me seriously is after I speak a few minutes. My voice is really low/calm, and since I use correct English when speaking most of the time people believe I am a graduate student. sweatdrop
