I was home sick today and my dad put on some Janis for me to listen to and he said that a lot of blues rock sounds the same. said that she sounded like Robert Plant....so, what say you?
Styles of singing?
Styles of music?
Voices?
Appearance maybe?

She's definately more into blues, and her voice is... I dunno, more rough/hoarse sounding. But I can see the similarities in both appearance and singing.
Btw, first picture doesn't work.

Hmm, well Janis dose more Texas blues, but idk i can see what you mean, because I am a huge fan of Janis and Led Zeppelin lol

I took a Society and Music class (which abbreviates as S&M.. ahaha)
anyways, my teacher talked about how Robert Plant sounds a lot like Janis
