Okay, so first off I apologize if there is already a thread in here like this. Second, these are opinions...not facts! These are just some things my friends and I came up with while watching 'The Covenant' at 2am and admiring the Jacob Black hopeful, anyways.

TWILIGHT (first book)- This is when the sun is beginning to drop below the Earth's horizon and the moon begins to appear. Okay, so I guess this is pretty self explanatory.
Edward (moon) is just beginning to come out and present himself as a major part in Bella's life. Yada yada yada.

NEW MOON (second book)- A new moon, in astronomy terms, in when the moon is completely hidden by the Earth's shadow.
Edward is not there for Bella in this book, and
Jacob starts to come into play. Yeah, we all know that one.

ECLIPSE (third book)- An eclipse (in the book's sense) is when the moon is completely covering the sun, but the sun can still be seen and its effects are still happening.
Edward has returned for Bella and covered up (not entirely) her love for
Jacob. Even though Edward is back and hiding Bella's love for Jacob, it is still there...not completely gone.

BREAKING DAWN (fourth book)- Okay, me and my friend had different predictions on this one. She said that breaking dawn is when the sun is rising and is most prominent in the sky. Ergo, Bella leaves
Edward and goes with
Jacob. Well...I don't like that option. SO! Dawn is when the run is rising...so
Edward and Bella are fighting and
Jacob takes advantage over it and Bella directs her love to him. However,
Edward comes and lays a smack down on
Jacob and breaks his rising in Bella's heart. I like my version better.

MIDNIGHT SUN (Edward's book)- This was asked so I'll answer it to the best of my ability. The "sun" at midnight is really the moon. So, since
Edward is the moon and the book is from his point of view...the title makes sense.
So yeah, once again
THESE ARE IN NOW WAY SHAPE OR FORM OFFICIAL!!! If you think they're spoilers- well, they're not. These interpretations are just our opinions and nothing else.
Does anybody else have any other ideas about Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse or
*drum roll please* Breaking Dawn?
