I can't decide whether to get a psp or a ds, I'd prefer a psp but the only thing is i want a ds for Harvest Moon. Which would you choose.

Personally, I wouldn't buy something like a DS for one game. *shrugs* So I would come up with everything I wanted to play one both and weigh out my choices. Don't forget, there are some HM games for the PSP too!

I had that same decision to make just last month. I only wanted Rune Factory for the DS but then again, I only wanted Innocent Life for PSP. I guess it depends on what you want. I looked up both of the games and just picked which one sounded more interesting to me. I decided to go with the DS and I have yet to regret it.

Well...I personally love my DS, but Crisis Core is coming for the PSP soon...or if you can read japanese it's already out. razz
so far, what i have noticed is that the DS has more "fun" games with cutesy graphics like Harvest Moon and Phoenix Wright, while the PSP has more gamer games....but then again, DS has some Final Fantasies as well...
Those are just my thoughts on it. I can't tell you what to get, really, cause that is your decision. Maybe buy one now and the other later. razz

another thought: ask for the one that you don't buy for your birthday or some other holiday....
or split the price with a trust-worthy friend. :3

ok well there are 3 hm games on the ds right now but i only consider one of them to be actually GOOD..i didnt play HM DS too much because i just couldnt get into it and i hear its really glitchy..HM Rune factory i've never regretted getting and "puzzle de harvest moon" dosent really count cause its just a puzzle game with sprites and crops.
psp has one hm game i believe. (dont know what its like ive never played)
DS has a few more harvest moon games planned while i dont think psp has any..
now..as far as OTHER games go..DS has quite a few..so does psp, ds has more i think..and from what i've heard multiplayer is a hassle on the psp...its pretty easy for the ds. anyway leeme try and go into plus minuses here.
PSP
PROS: good graphics, music, movies, that joystick thing
CONS: price
DS: touch screen, lots of unique games, free wifi, large game library
CONS: picto chat stinks
lol i dont know if that helps i prefer ds but i cant really say i dont have a psp...ds games are cheaper though i think psp's are high
i kinda wrote that quick i dont know if it makes sense lol

I would choose the ds. I don't actually have a psp, but I really enjoy my ds a lot. there are some good harvest moon games, both for the ds and the gba.
