Finally, the children managed to calm down and sort themselves out. Some children wanted to go back and find adults, some wanted to go out an explore, to find the creature - or at least its trail. Maybe some clues, hm? Like a real adventure!

And it was that little group that was currently following the monsters trail. It hadn't exactly been careful, so even a bunch of kids could follow it; huge footprints in the soft ground, plenty of broken foilage..simple.

Until, of course, they came to a stream. Now what? It wasn't exactly a deep stream, but it looked like the path continued to the other side...
