///..it began here. . .
Ru'Uderis slept peacefully ever person tucked in comfortably in their beds as Sojo wandered the small streets. No eyes gazed at him, no light showed from a window, everyone but him was asleep. The small tune started, it was only a small one, but it was the tune that echoed vibrating off of everything in the city. Even the strongest could not resist its charm, but Sojo was able somehow. Breaking out of the narrow alley he crossed the big courtyard, the council hall shadowing his path as he approached the golden gates. An attendants desk was empty as he too was asleep.
Sojo took a seat his robe he was wearing now flowed with him perfectly, the elaborate colors reflected in the moon. The fountain he sat spewed water slowly trickling down the odd shape. Sojo had received a letter not to long ago asking to meet here today, but what was it really about this letter that dragged him here. The moon hid for only a second behind the clouds and it felt for that second the city held its breath. Sojo awaited some movement in the shadows which outlined the giant circle of marble, paths leading out unevenly in all directions.
Slowly he began to hum, whispering along with the song that the siren sang who for years stood alone in her tower upon the council hall, tricking those who never slept into the deepest of dreams as she took turn, watching the city. Sojo listened and fell asleep sliding back into the fountain, out of it.

Aevah awoke with a jolt, something that was out of the ordinary for her. Usually she slept through the night and even the day, peacefully. But that night, something was different in the air, something that she felt was foreboding. The faint moon light trickled through the windows and caressed her face as she stared straight into the darkness. As her eyes adjusted to the dark she slowly crawled out of bed feeling the gold engraved designs of the bed post which felt cold in between her hands. She pulled the laced white sheets off her, her skin now exposed to the coldness of the night air, she shivered as her body floated to the doorway.
The goddess peered out her door, the town seemed still as if she was the only one crazy enough to be awake at that time of the night. The silence was deafening, and this made Aevah go out and walk the streets of Ru'Uderis. Her blue dress fluttered in the wind and the moonlight bathed her as she walked, not sure where to go.
The note she received earlier flashed in her mind suddenly, and she headed towards the large golden gates in the middle of the God town which was entwined with vines which hugged every part of the golden structure. Walking in, the fountain was the first thing that caught her attention, the only sound was of the water that was trickling on the marble fountain. But then another sound was heard, and a shadow moved behind the fountain. This made the goddess go into a fighting stance, she was no stranger to defending herself and fighting.
Approaching the figure, she had no idea what was in store for her.

Sojo convulsed a little as he was awoken by the cold water and shot up almost immediately as his head went under. Gasping for air he shot up back into the standing position and froze. Water trickled silently down his clothes and beat into the ground, a drum it sounded like, even the faintest noise sounded like nails. The air moved uneasy as he stood there silent his shadow casting long, the moon now gone again, the city seemed to freeze. The air was cool, the night was bright, shadows were longer than normal. Slowly he turned.
It seemed like it took forever, to just pivot on a foot and face what he fear, but he had nothing to fear. The gods placed judgment, but slowly his eyes adjusted to the brighter area and a small figure came into view. It was a god, you could tell by the outfit she wore but who was it. Raising a hand he shook his head getting most of the water out of it, bending the air to help him. Gaining his pose back he pulled out the letter and noticed the time, almost there. "Aevah?. . ." he guessed, the goddess wasn't known to be awake ever during the night, why was she here, he could only guess... She got the letter too.

Going closer with light steps she heard a gasping sound from the person who was near the fountain, puzzled, she rested her arms to her side and continued to walk. Still cautious she peered at the figure, finally seeing a glimpse of the person's face from the faint light.
"Aevah?"
That voice..sounded familiar.
"Sojo?"
As her eyes finally recognized the man who was in front of her the goddess smiled in the dark.
"I mistook you for an enemy Sojo, you're lucky I didn't do what I was going to do." she said with a smug laugh. "What are you doing here? And why are you all wet?"
She pointed at the god's light dripping hair as he brushed his hair to the side. His robes glistened in the night, and reflected the light so that parts of his face were colorfully illuminated. Her dark eyes blinked at the god, waiting for him to reply to her question...well questions. She was well wide awake at the moment, for some particular reason. She lifted herself up with a snap of her fingers and sat next to the man, keeping her distance as she did not want to get wet.

Bending the air Sojo dried off quickly and the water from the fountain that was on him returned back into the endless cycle. "I fell into the fountain after droping my guard to the siren, I haven't slept in almost a month now, all this propoganda about the human world, god that place gets annoying at times." he said chuckling as he took his seat again.
"I almost mistook you for the same, but I am here thanks to this letter I got, what an odd night too, to odd." he glanced slowly around them nothing moved. The wind became still once more and the city in the depth of their sleep not an eye on them, the siren herself had returned to sleep. Pulling out a thick notebook he opened it and started writing, his hand stayed by him but the pen moved to what he was thinking himself. Wind was so useful at times, and he needed to catch up on the work he had due.
Time again, sat still, the moon hid itself again but it didn't come out. Darkness.

Aevah brought the thin strands of hair behind her ear, tucking it there as she listened to Sojo. The sky was still of a blue hue and when the moon hid behind the thick clouds the darkness fell on them both.
"True, those annoying humans.. Though you must admit they are pretty interesting in a primitive kind of way." she snickered as she said the last word.
"Also, you speak of a letter?" the goddess eyed him seriously looking at his hands in the darkness. "I also got that..."
Then a loud boom interrupted Aevah mid-sentence. A think veil of golden smoke hung over the area near to them, strangely not spreading outside the gates. A spell, Aevah guessed. Then she knew that the big meeting with the high council was about to start.

Sojo stood up and looked at the shaking gates as the opened silently. The ticking clock above the town froze, time had been frozen for this meeting. "I did get the letter, and yes, interesting to say the least." suggestion Sojo straightening his robes. Walking forward he sighed once more.
What could the council want this late at night, even though it seemed almost unreal, maybe their part would become bigger. Pulling out the silver binded journal he wrote a few things down and walked through the gates.

Aevah watched Sojo as he walked towards the gates, disappearing into the mist of gold. For a few seconds she sat there wondering if she should really go to this meeting, but even if she didn't the council would find a way to force her into the place. She sighed pulling herself up from her position and floated towards the gates.
As she entered the whole room was in golden and silver colors, the pillars stood there sturdily reaching up to infinity. Only a few people were in the room, looking at the gods sternly.
The raven-haired woman looked straight ahead and saw another woman with long back hair and when she saw the small horns protruding out of the persons head she knew who it was immediately.
"Ozara. Famously known for a lot of things. Not good things mind you." she started talking softly.
Aevah went closer to the high council, placing herself beside Ozara, not looking at the woman whom she really despised since she had met her a few centuries ago.

Sojo entered slowly as Aevah walked passed him he didn't move or look at her instead he kept his pace. Each god had a platform, Aevah and Ozara's were the closest Sojo was the furthest back and the highest. Depending on your rank through the gods determined how low you came to the hold ground that the platforms floated above.
Stepping onto his he felt it rise just a little higher than Aevah's. Ozara's was the highest up but not my much they were all eye level with the gods, meaning they all had served but didn't go exceedingly beyond expectations or in Ozara's case, she did go far beyond but made mistakes a lot.
Placing his journal down on the little stand he heard the clanking of the bells and the discussion began, lasting a while. Human kind was the topic.

A resounding bell echoed throughout the room as the five high gods stood in their respective podiums. Aevah closed her eyes a little and cringed at the sound peeking a little in the two other god's faces. She then inferred that she was the only one who was quite annoyed by this sound.
"We have called this very important meeting which involves the human race." Galleria said in his deep resounding voice. He pulled up his golden robes which compared to other gods was much more beautiful since he was the head of the council. He stroked his long white beard and closed his eyes as if reflecting on something.
"What have they done now?" Aevah said under her breath.
"Silence, goddess. Wait for when he is done with his announcement." Yael, the blond young council member retorted. His handsome features morphed into a scowl as his fangs appeared and his eyes darkened.
Aevah rolled her eyes at him as Galleria started to cough, and motioning Yael to stop.
"The human race must be eliminated." again, he said with his loud booming voice.
Aevah stared at him motionless.

Sojo was speechless at the order, the journal he had just picked up crashed off the hovering platform and down below where the crash echoed loudly. Eliminated.. But that couldn't be, Sojo was the main supervisor of the human races actions and well being with the environment. This not only would strip him of his rank but he would become a demi-god in the process for his species would be whipped out.
"This can't be!" roared Sojo his voice echoing. For the next two hours Sojo kept up an interesting conversations with all five of the council members, it was quite interesting to say the least, than he made a move.
"Sojo you are hereby ordered and silenced of your god rank!" cried Galleria as he spoke out of term insulting the way the order was going. "And hereby ordered to wipe out the entire human race!"

Sojo was surprised, though compared to Aevah his reaction was with more anger. Aevah was the goddess in charge of small creatures and lesser beings, as well as taking care of the human race so therefore she would not be directly affected as much as Sojo but nevertheless she did not like the order at all. While Sojo was conversing, well more like arguing, with the council members, Aevah looked at Ozara who was at her left. The woman had a cold smirk plastered on her face.
For two hours she listened to Sojo's testaments to the council members with his stern but smooth voice. Aevah on the other hand was troubled, because she knew that once the high council made a verdict, nothing could they could say or do could change their minds.
"Sojo you are hereby ordered and silenced of your god rank! And hereby ordered to wipe out the entire human race!"
The goddesses eyes widened, looking at a silenced Sojo at her side. He heart felt heavy as Galleria and the other council members nodded their heads as they talked amongst themselves.
Galleria then said, "Ozara, Aevah and Sojo. As of now all your unique individual powers are strengthened."
"And since we cannot step into earth because we are bound to Ru'Uderis. We leave this job up to you three." Alandra, another member said to the three as she stood there with poise. "But with Sojo, he must do the task of killing the humans. Ozara and Aevah. See to it that he does."
Aevah felt the new power surge into her body it felt painful at first but after the process she could feel the energy in her body.
"Meeting adjourned." as Galleria said as the floating platforms slowly reached the floor. Aevah wasn't going to allow this to happen, that she knew.

Sojo this time didn't wait, he didn't stop nor did he silence, the clocks ticked again but he ran out of the council all, any form of glass he past cracked as the wind swept silently. Being striped of a god rank was a hug thing to him especially since he had to kill the humans, something on one god may have known, he used to be.
As he exited the courtyard of the councils he ran quickly past the fountain and off into one of the streets where his tall house awaited. Slowing to a fast walk Sojo silently mouthed things and when he reached his house, he started crying. The tears weren't easy to stop, but being sent to kill an entire race, was something big. What had they done but grow? They were just like the Ru, they prospered as time went on.
In and out quickly some tears were still coming as Sojo carried a single bag and walked back to the center of town. Ozara was smiling at him as he walked passed she just leaving the hall Aevah was obviously not far behind. The crystal gates open, and he left.

Before Aevah could speak to Sojo, he headed out the hall in a rush and his was distress evidently seen with the power he was giving out. His aura was strong and the goddess felt the urge to follow him but decided that this wasn't the time. Ozara looked at her for the first time that night and nodded her head as she smiled. She knew Ozara disliked the humans since she was in charge of devouring the floating human souls and taking care of the large dark creatures in the continent.
She bowed her head in respect to the other goddess but with a scowl on her face. At that same time Sojo was walking towards the portal gates to the human world and disappeared in a flash of blue light.
Aevah started to walk towards her house in a fast pace. She then grabbed her long favorite weapons and put them in a large black bag. That was all she needed for the task. The goddess felt helpless for the humans, pushing back her short black hair she sighed. Something then hit her.
She could save the humans.
Her power was much stronger now and with much concentration and focus she may make a race.. a race to protect the humans. But she needed time for that to happen.
Running to the crystal gates she followed and thought of the first place she could start her plan in. The human town called Amies.

Sojo landed in the town of Amies. I was a miracle how many people lived on this sea-bearing town, carefully he used a spell to remove the markings on his hand and walked out into the town dress elegantly in his robes, quickly finding a comfortable home from which to live in.
As Aevah appeared he walked back and stood beside her. "You may want to remove the markings." he suggested still shaking about the recent ceremony. He didn't want to rid the humans of their lives.
Walking peacefully he quickly found a home it was sorto f like one up in Ru, nice elegant, and gated. Touching the solid gates the opened to reveal the mansion and he walked in, it automatically belonging to him. His spells were working better, instead of fixing up a nice house like this, and it taking a day, it took a matter of seconds.
