anyone else seen this idiot`s thread?
Quite lulzworthy if I may say, as it seems she has no idea on what the hell she is talking about and refuses to actually debate anything
PostPosted: Sun Feb 24, 2008 8:19 am

Totalulz. She doesn't even know how to spell "Cruise", and thinks Fox is a website we raided.

Then she says we're exactly the same as terrorists and the Klan because we hate certain people.

After that, she says that a Co$ member may have been right to kill an Anon (however, she says it was by running a hose from the guy's car exhaust into his house. I'm rolling on the floor now, and it's hard to type).

Anyway, then she tries to pass herself off as a martyr instead of a butthurt f** over something Anon probably did to her years ago. Raid this b***h please, it's a hueg lolcow alert.

I don't want to post this because I'm being targeted by CoS IRL.

Don't worry, I am safe for now, but I leave this to you.

Okay... shall we begin?

First off, your reiteration of the events is commendable. You have been somewhat accurate, and it is enlightening to see your perspective. It's a shame that you insult ALL of Anonymous, when most of them are very good people that have done great things. I guess you, like all other people only seem to see the bad eggs in the group.

Just on a side-note, did you know that it was because of Anonymous that several child-pornography rings were shut down?

tererun
The lies:

1. According to Anon and operation Chanology they do not wish to eliminate the religion of scientology but rather want to destroy the people who abuse others through the religion. Like most prejudiced orginizations this heroism is a blatant lie. This whole thing began because Anon wanted to make a parody video rideculing the core beliefs of scientoologists. As you look through their sites you will find documentation about what they want the protestors to use to confront scientologists with. In this documentation they blatantly attack the core beliefs of scientology and the church who is the only group that believes in the philosophy. The destruction of the church itself would be the end of scientology. Anon and Chanology encourage people to write their government officials in an attempt to get scientology banned from countries like the US where freedom of religion is a right no matter how absurd the religion may be.

No, this is not a lie. Like everything, goals and ideals change. The original goal was to destroy the church of Scientology, and it still is its primary goal, but it has nothing to do with the suppression, dissension, dismantle, or dissemination of their beliefs. Sure, we can mock it. I mock Christianity too. I don't have Christians picketing outside my house, and calling my friends asking them to see if they'll divulge secrets. Freedom of religion, and the right to practice it should not come at the cost of people's lives, livlihoods, or their families. Should it? Does their right to be Scientologists enable them to trespass on other people's rights? The core of the church is corrupt. They have killed people in the past. They have been known to be a dangerous organization. Unlike you, I will now cite sources:

Lisa McPherson Memorial - Murdured by the CoS
Affidavits confirming coerced abortions in SEA ORG
Scientology R2-45 policy - People can be released by using a Colt-45 handgun to 'free' people from their woes

This is not even the tip of the iceberg.

tererun
2. Chanology and Anon claim they are not encouraging anyone to break any laws or do illegal things. However, if you go to Encyclopedia Dramatica you will find links to DOS tools on the pages that sre home to the movement. DOS stands for Denial of Service, and it is an illegal activity that seeks to crash or slow down servers through continuous spam from multiple sources. They also encourage harassment of scientology orgs that goes beyond just a simple protest. They cite methods to be used to disrupt the church by prank calling them, ordering things in their name, and even childishly faxing black peices of paper to them to use up the ink in their fax machines. Yes, it is a fairly childish and meaningless atack that they say will destroy the church, but really is just an annoyance. Even though one may not normally face criminal charges from some of these actions the church will force law enforcement to do something about it. Not to mention the church itself will eventually begin to litigate and start civil suits against it's harassers and they will probably win.

Yes, in the beginning this might have been so, but things change. Since Mark Bunker's speech to Anonymous, the Scientlogy website has not once gone down. Even when they were defended by the Prolexic company, some hackers could have (admittedly) still continued the attacks, but refused. The attacks got the attention of the media, that was its purpose. It succeeded. Was it wrong? Perhaps. But it depends on where you are coming from. From a innocent bystander, perhaps this was wrong, but for someone who has seen what the church has done to htose that spread any discontent against it can argue that this is nothing compared to what the church is capable of doing.

For example: Repeatedly Christianity is made fun of. There are ***** priests, to horny nuns, and goodness what else. But South Park was nearly sued, and the showing of the episode forbidden abroad when all it did was show people what Scientologists believe. That supression is perhaps more thorough than the shutting down of their website(s).

Tom Cruise gets South Park banned in England

tererun
3. Scientology is a deadly orginization. I will agree that it's actions can be rather nasty, and they have contributed to some deaths, although never fully convicted of most of them. The largest total I have seen from their opponents is 40 deaths in the 30 years they have been around. Even if they are guilty of all of them that is still a relatively low number for a religious orginization that exists worldwide. Let us think about it for real, that is 1.3 deaths a year if they spread them out evenly. How many religions can claim 1.3 deaths a year? For being composed of a whole bunch of nutbars they sure don't kill nearly as many people as a lot of other religions. That is if you blame them for suicides and exacerbated health conditions. Even so, all the deaths they claim seem to be members of the COS so if you never join them they certainly are not deadly.

SEX, 1 . the body's single effort to make something out of nothing is resident in sex, and in this culture at our time sex is a degraded and nasty thing which must be hidden at best and babies are something not to have but to be prevented. -- Dianetics and Scientology Technical Dictionary by L. Ron Hubbard

I wonder how many babies they killed? If you clicked the link above, you might get an idea. These are not Scientologists. Any religion forbidding the birthing of children to the extent where they perform forced abortions is not a religion. It is a murderous cult.

tererun
4. Anon and chanology are heroes. Well, if being heroic is destroying a religion they claim is destroying the world let us start pinning medals on the Klan, Skinheads, Islamic terrorists, Zionists, and every other hate group trying to save us all from the people they needlessly hate. Every hate group tells us they are heroes fighting the good fight againbst people who would destroy us, but it isn't so for any of them including Chanology and Anon.

Why would you relate us to the Klan, Skinheads, Islamic terrorists, Zionists? Why are we a hate group? Did we violently protest them on February 10th, the birthday of Lisa McPherson, which the church murdered? A peaceful protest conducted by Anonymous seems to be somewhat contradictory to what you say. I want you to watch the following video and tell me who is the violent party: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0xn7cNdtqwU

Google results for the February 10th protests

tererun
5. Anon is about free speech and the spreading of information. I guess that freedom does not apply to scientologists, or anyone who fights against them for that matter. It would seem that when people start asking the tough questions about anon here on gaia the anon people censor them.

The fact that you fail to realize that Anonymous supports the Free Zoners, an alternative to the Church, but practice the same religion. They believe in Xenu, the volcanoes and everything, and yet they are on our side.

Anonymous message to Freezoners.

tererun
So look, before you start joining the internet hate machine, as they call themselves, take a real look at what you are getting into. There is a difference between providing information so people can be aware of what they are getting into and outright destroying it. It is a difference that Anon cannot see. They will risk you for their fight. They do not care if you end up getting sued or arrested for your actions as long as they get to keep fighting.

No, Anonymous doesn't call themselves that. Fox News did in a very biased, one sided special that they used which made no sense whatsoever. And what you said is true. They will risk you, as they do themselves, to fight against an organization, not a religion, that violates beliefs.

tererun
Don't think they are the only ones fighting this as they like to claim. People have been giving out this information for years longer than a lot of these kids have been alive. Personally, I knew a lot of what they claim is new information back in 1994 when I first got involved, and I was told by people who had been in it for years longer than I was. There are organizations that have been providing information about Scientology for decades. There are people out there that have been helping people cope with getting back into the real world after leaving scientology. The truth has been out there for far longer than January of this year when Anon decided to do something after years of ignoring the problem.

The fact that Anonymous has decided to do something means that rather than ignore a problem, they have decided to face it head on. As a supporter, I believe that this is the first step needed to make a difference in the world. You state that people have been doing this for years, and yet in a month more information and protesters have ever appeared than in the 40 years that people have been speaking out against this organization.

Does that not account for something great? Rather than scorn them, if you oppose this cult, then why are you denouncing them?

I support Anonymous because I have done investigations myself. I doubt that you have seen the court-room antics of the CoS, nor have you seen the autopsy reports and photos of victims (you need to request them from your local police station), but I promise you that if you do, you'll appreciate that something more than mere pranks is being done.

And yes, sometimes mere pranks are fun, but the main objective remains true. And I will be watching.

Right now it's just stalking. I've tried to get the guy whose following me on camera, but my phone does not have one, and everytime I manage to get my hands on one, he's gone. Looks like a $cifag to me...

He keeps trying to follow me home, but I loose him easily in the train station. I know he's either a $cientologist or only works for them. I am not being paranoid. Me and paranoia don't get along.

Although I deny involvement with Anonymous, somehow they found out that I was helping the team that is taking apart the Tax Exempt status of the church (yes, I was helping, and have come a long way). It's really kind of wierd as to how they found out, but they have my face and name now, so I'm going to have to be extra careful. I have a grilfriend which is a vulnerable target.

I'm taking a 1 month vacation to the USA right now in hopes that I can throw this fellow off my tail. I think he'll give up if I don't show up at work for a month.

The place I work has secrurity monitoring him as well, but I don't want to get the company I work for involved in this, so I told my boss everything about this CoS. He gave me his blessing (lol?) and told me to take a break.

I think my boss might be a part of Anonymous as well. I saw a distinct twinkle in those eyes...

But don't worry about me. Personally, I am not afraid. This kind of thing is more of a nuisance, but I am worried about my GF, so I have to be extra careful for her.
