An orange lioness was currently grooming herself after a small dip in the water. The sun was really hot and taking a cooling bath was the best in the world well atleast if you asked Kwarimono. She had been inlove with the water since the first time she saw it and figured out how wonderful it was. Since without water there could be no life, the animals needed it, the plants did well all living did. They also needed the sun since without that nothing could ever grow.
Mono as her nickname was was a smart girl she was still young but very smart. She had been comming here to the Kunanda Nakhun together with her two sisters Gurami and Koi. All three of them came originally from the Tarka clan but now this was her new home together with her two lovley sisters.

Kawarimono's named ment koifish but Mono's name was not rare or anything since all three siblings had been named after koifishes and she tought that suited them really well <3 Kawarimono would have nothing against being born a fish instead but maybe if she was lucky she would be in her next life? maybe the godess would bless her if she did good in this life.
It had been a dream many times for Kawarimono to swim with the fishes and all other water creatures there now was outside in this world she even tought life down there was much easier then the life of a lion.
But these toughts hadn't been comming to her mind as much latley something else had..

She knew thinking of a male wasn't something odd and she was not sick since that was a natural part of live finding a mate right? both her sisters had been blessed latley with a lovley mate and lovley children. Gurami had gotten 4 cubs and Koi got 6 so Koi's worries about not being able to have children was probably blown away now since the godess had blessed her with 6 cubs that was the max litter of cubs she knew a female could get so the godess really must have loved her..
Kawarimono sighed a little it was not that she was jelous it was just that she had felt a little lonley latley since both her sisters was busy and she hadn't made that many friends here yet at her new home. But she had met a male named Angavu. He was purple and he had a green fluffy cool looking mane. She smiled when she tought about his mane since she tought males looked so funny and diffrent from the females with that mane.
He seemed diffrent and he was very nice maybe because she didn't like pushing males around. Even if the females from this pride should be strong and bossy Mono could never force anyone to mate with her that was a choice he had to take himself.

But this male made her feel diffrent she didn't know if it was love or not since she had never been inlove before but he was definetly a strong and handsome male with the most beautiful colors she had seen. She tought he looked really cute as well specially when he got all wet when they took a swim together since his mane was really thick, heavy and long. She giggeld at the tought..
Males wasn't that bad after all and they where needed as well since how else would cubs be born to this world without males? females and males belonged together even if they liked it or not. Since she knew some females wanted to live together instead and she had nothing against that but that was just nothing for her.
So maybe Angavu wasn't such a bad pick after all.

Kawarimono was actually more worried about if he would like her and accept her. It was maybe a wierd tought but she was shy around males and couldn't boss them around it worked around females then she could talk normally and behave normally since she knew her position she was a Rawal after all an she could never have a higher position then that. Koi had the same position as her and Gurami had one lower then the two of them since she was all yellow and had no orange on her and the pride they lived in ranked positions in the pride with colors.
Maybe if she had babies herself her babies would have a safe position as well? she didn't care really since she would love them all just as much even if they where boys or girls or orange or black since they would all be perfect in there own way.
Since all lives was a blessing.

Kawarimono rolled over on her back and scratched her belly some with her front paws and claws. She was all dry now and felt happy and satisfied even if she was a little confused about life. Since life itself wasn't easy to figure out. Then she noticed a little brown bird flying above her head and it landed in a tree above her. Mono could spot a little nest off small branches and leaves that the girl or her and her mate had built.
If Kawarimono could have seen she that high up she would have spotted 3 small eggs laying there in the nest waiting to hatch. It seemed like everyone was having babies these days.
She didn't know if she was ready to be a mother or not yet but she knew she would do a good job even if it would be difficult in the beginning she could always ask her sisters if she was having a hard time or not knowing what to do.

Being the middle siblings in her own litter made her feel sometimes that she was a little slow sometimes since Koi the oldest one was wise and always knew what to do and Gurami was the youngest one and she liked being first with everything she even had cubs first of them all..
" Hey you up there! is being a mom that hard? "
She asked the little brown bird that was brining more branches to the nest up there in the trees. She tought it would be good asking someone that knew but she didn't get an answer.
Mono scracthed her belly again and looked down at her seashell bracelet she had made but the seashells she had found it ment a lot to her and it always reminded her of who she was. So if she had cubs it would not make her any diffrent she would even name her babies after seashells or something else that was related to water. She wonderd if her sisters had been doing the same? she tought she had heard one of her sistes son being named Guppy with was absolutly the mose adorable she had heard <3
Yes she would definetly do the same thing.

Suddenly Kawarimono noticed that the sun had started to go down it was time for it to go to sleep. The orange lioness had not been aware of how fast this day did pass since a few hours ago she was taking a bath, grooming herself, watching the little bird and now it was almost time for the sun to go to sleep.
She felt that her energy was raising and lions was night animals after all. Maybe she could go do some hunting and get herself a meal? she licked her lips and tought that was a great idea she could even hear her tummy making hungry noises at the moment.
Maybe a hare? or something else yummy? she knew she couldn't take animals that was to big by herself so something small or medium would probably be enough to satisfy her hunger fo rnow. Or she could go get her sisters or atleast one of them so they could go and hunt together maybe.

Kawarimono got up an streched out her orange body. Her yellow hair and tailtip wagged nicley in the cool wind that was blowing trough her lands. Her purple eyes seemed to be more awake now as well she was feeling so much more alive at the moment and not as confused anymore. Maybe laying here and think some things out wasn't so bad after all.
First some hunting to settle her hunger then maybe she could go visit her small sisters babies? or maybe go meet Angavu? maybe he wanted to hunt together with her? it didn't hurt to ask right?
Mono had decided to not be so shy anymore since life was all about cubs, friends, family, love and heh water orcourse <3
Live actually couldn't be any better at all life was just great..
And with that the lioness left her currently resting spot to go off hunting.
