So, any thoughts or tips.
What picture did you think showed the best cut that would work for me or is it a lost cause?
Thanks for any opinions.^^

Honestly, those are all pretty much the same haircut, the only differences were the lengths and how the girl chose to wear them (what product she used, etc).

However, if you're going to take the photo to your hairdresser, don't take the picture of the girl with ponytails 'cause that won't tell her anything about what you want, as the hair is pulled back and not showing how you want it to fall on a regular basis.

The best photos to take to your hairdresser are going to be:
1, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 13

I took a photo to my hairdresser of a girl with scene hair, telling her I wanted extreme layers that showed up more, but I wanted to keep some of my length (honestly, it was the exact same style you're wanting, just longer due to my hair length... when I get home I may post the photo just to show what I mean... it was just a long, choppy shag.) ... I've always had layers and ended up with the same haircut as usual, just a trim/shaping... I was quite sad... so you also need to be sure your hairdresser knows how to do those styles, as I don't think mine did :/ I just took it the way it was as I figured maybe it was a sign I shouldn't get it yet, as my boyfriend was coming to visit me and I'd be in my best friend's wedding all within a week from getting it cut, and I didn't want to look horribly retarded for them if it didn't work out.... I went with what I knew worked.

I'd suggest picking out your favorites and taking them to your hairstylist... not just one photo, but multiple ones. He/she should be able to look at what you bring them and modify the style however necessary to compliment your face... and they can tell you if they don't think it would work with your hair due to texture/length/etc. Also, be sure to ask them how you would get your hair to style like in the photo, clearly those girls have some sort of product in their hair. It really is best to bring more than one photo when getting a haircut/styled, honestly... so you can point out what different aspects you prefer on the different styles and your stylist can go from there.

i didnt see much of a difference in the hair cuts. (theirs is just a more done of version of yours.) well obviously the colors.

so while not one just stands out to me. (though i much prefer a two tone over a rainbow.) i would say just make sure you get it professionally done. 3nodding

i wana grow my hair out that long just to see what i look like with long hair haha.

i like the 4th one... and really only that one. i like that it's pretty simple, and only one color, but that's it's also very cute. i'm definitely not a fan of any of the other ones. yeesh.

I love the 4th and 8th hair cute. I once tried to do my hair somewhat like the 4th one, but it just turned into a hair mess and people made fun of me for being a lesbian. sweatdrop
Though I think if the hair style is cut correctly and it also I believe depends on the face. For my face for example, short hair doesn't work with it. I look better with long. Though I like 4th and the 8th one, cause some of those hair styles remind me of a girl that doesn't know what to do with their hair so they throw lots of stuff into it. I hate hair that has three different colors and looks like the combed it with a rank. No offense if your hair look likes that. I of course some girls can pull that look off. I think I'm talking in a point of view of the hair for myself or on Jesus_vs_Godzilla.

Its not that i dont like the scene cut on you, but i dont like it in general =/ It just looks so shabby...Besides, most girls with that cut, use hair extensions..which are made from horse hair >_>

But if you do, dear god, dont mimic the make up..they all look like ridiculous raccoons... stare

13
8
4
and 1

are the best ones.

The rest of them are so overdone by now. But a lot of those are still adorable.

Also, @Shampoo, how does that look translate as lesbian? gonk

I chopped off all my hair and wear menswear, but I still don't get people calling me a lesbian.

...I mean I kinda am, but I don't get people calling me on it...

haha..It doesn't translate it. The way my hair dresser did it, she didn't know what she was doing. So when I went into school people said I looked like a lesbian English teacher. I don't feel it translate to it, it's I can't pull the style off.

I also live somewhere that people aren't so nice. haha

Certain short haircuts, like the pixie and stuff, aren't really lesbian cuts.

Haircuts that are angular, or haircuts that are meant to look like boy cuts, or even short pixies can be pulled off.... but you have to have the right face for it (hence why I'm waiting to get my boy cut 'til I've lost a bit of weight).

It seems the bigger the girl, and the more masculine her haircut, the more likely she is to be picked on for being a lesbian, from what I've seen. I guess to make up for not being tiny and "cute" that's why a lot of bigger girls do the whole longer cut thing.

But also, if the hairdresser messes up and it comes out as a semi-mullet... yeah, you're going to risk lesbian comments.

My mom was watching old home movies of us from the 80s, and she has the short pixie but with it a bit longer in the back, like the beginings of a mullet. Her reaction to seeing it was "Oh God, I look like a lesbian" even though lesbians don't look any certain way sweatdrop

I wear guy clothes a lot, but that's 'cause I wear geeky shirts. I just got an X-men track jacket while my boyfriend got a girls hoody one to two sizes smaller than I could wear.

To say the least, I was somewhat depressed... 'til I realized how ******** awesome my new jacket was.
