I know this is old news, but Jamie Hewlett's been working on a show recently based on one of his work's called Phoo Action back in the UK. From the clips I've seen, this show might actually get me to watch TV again...

Anyway, more info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phoo_Action

Certainly sounds different - I've never read any of Hewlett's comics, as... well, comics aren't that popular in Australia. I've still to track down JTHM, let alone Tank Girl. So, yeah... I don't know whether I'll like it or not.

But since it's a BBC production, if it does go to air, we'll probably see it in Australia in time. Yay!

I have a hard time finding his stuff as well. I hope to see this in the U.S., but the chances are pretty slim...

*huge JtHM fan* It's hard as hell to find it even here. You might just wanna search online for them. The company that prints them is Slave Labor Graphics (methinks), if that helps.

As for Hewlett's comics... I've never seen any available from the (insanely few) comic book stores that have been in business (for a stupidly short time) near me.

Yeah, I've found some websites that sell it, but I'd rather find an Australian site first. I don't want to buy a $5 AU comic, and pay $10 postage on it.

Only in the UK, my friends, could something like that get and stay on the air. LOVE. IT. :]

Looks pretty wicked! I hope it gets youtubed eventually. Like, soon.

If we had the BBC here, I'd so watch--the only thing on TV I'll watch is House...which is on tonight!

That show's awesome!

Unfortanly, even of Phoo Action did come to the U.S, I only have the regular BBC(which shows crappy fixing-up-houses shows, the news, some auction shows, and some stuff in between),

I got BBC America, which just shows news, Dr. Who, some cleaning ladies, and Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares.

I hate Ramsey. S'got anger issues.

At least today they showed a Monty Python marathon! And they used to show the Catherine Tate Show!

Nice.
Too bad I missed it.
I probably wouldn't understand it anyway. (Has a crappy sense of humor) xd
