Follow these basic rules and everyone will have a much better roleplaying experience. Thanks! smile

1. Be patient. Since roleplaying depends on players being online, some players will respond immediately while others may take several hours or even a couple days. If a player doesn't respond after a day or so, PM them to tell them you're waiting for a response.

2. Put *asterisks* at the begining and end of major actions, and "quotation marks" around anything your character says.
Example:
*Wulf walks into the room* (glances around suspiciously) "Anyone know where I could vind a man by the name of Vamdere?"
(note that the parentheses are optional, but you might get in trouble for not using asterisks and quotation marks properly)

3. Use good grammar and spelling. There's a reason they put you through years of it in school-and it's not just to irritate you, either. Do your best to read over what you just posted to make sure it's legible (meaning you can read and understand it)

4. Don't use Leet (computer talk) while roleplaying. (e.g. lol, ttyl, brb, lmao, etc.)

5. Avoid posting more than once in a row, especially when you're in a battle. The main exemption is for players in battle who have 2X or more Agility than their opponent.

6. Stay in Character. If your character is a grumpy old man, don't *runs around, hugging everyone and giving them flowers.* However, if your character is a hyper-active little girl, feel free to *runs around, hugging everyone and giving them flowers* all you want. XD

7. Be active. Nothing drives the avid roleplayer more batty than a person who only logs in once a month and expects to play as if they were on half an hour ago. Check in frequently and talk to roleplayers who are online when you are. (if you're not sure if they're online, look for the smiley next to their avi)

8. Be kind to those who are new to roleplaying. Take this time to direct begining roleplayers to this post and explain anything to them that they don't understand.

9. Be careful about what you say and do. In-game disrespect and may land your character in a dark cell or worse. Personal attacks targeting the actual players (and not just the RP characters) may result in heavy fines, demotions, forfeiture of virtual assets, and even banning.

10. Be Creative! There's nothing wrong with bending your path out of the narrow and away from the common. Just make sure you don't break any rules while doing so. Also, crew may tell you that what you're doing is a bit too far from the principles behind the guild. If that happens, just back down and do what they tell you. If you think a crew member is abusing his power, report him to one of the guild captains with a link to the page where they did so.

11. No god-moding. If any of your skill levels are below 100,000,000,000, you are not allowed to god-mode. (In case you don't know, god-moding is acting invincible and all powerful when you're not)

That's all! Thanks for reading this. I hope it helps you. (:

Well, if you forget to post the dice then you can go back and edit your post and add the action. (If that doesn't work, then don't worry about it and count the move as if you had rolled a 10)
