Wrathful Shapeshifter

The strips of cloth where wrapped tightly going from one slender some what boney ankle weaving to edge of foot and tucked carefully where the edge would not chaft. Jysayne moved his toes, moving carefully making sure his foot remained it's flexiblilty why wrapped to stablelize and prevent a unwanted twist. He glanced at the mirror making sure his hair was still pinned in place with the rather simple elegant combs shaped like moths and his needles where tucked in the long expanse of fabric making up his sleeves. The fan was tucked in his Obi, properly tied to support the extra three pounds of steel and silk hidden.

A soft breath and he slipped out the window, toes and fingers gripping the rough stone moving quickly like a small lizard trying not to think about falling. God he hated heights, but he hated being pampered, crowded in that small room more knowing the luxerys where just gilt. He killed two of her men, owned her a debt and would probably live forever killing off those who struck his mistress wrath. When properly trained in the tools of trade and in the submissive silence of a San hana seki. Three red blossoms, poppy, death, opium, drugs..

He sighed hitting the ground with a small shiver, glad to have his feet on the ground. He looked up, waving at one of the full brothers who bore the three tattoos marked on their skins though the window before running off into the nights. He wasn't running away. Not that stupid to leave food, safety, and comfort. There was worse things...it just bothered him.

He sigh, slowing down to a walk in the market of east dark just melting into the crowds. The wide spaces and noise soothing and familiar.

The necromancer paused at yet another stall, the crowds of the East-Dark markets giving him a wide berth. His family, though not from these parts, were well known and respected.. Possibly feared, but he would take this as a mark of respect too. His mother would be pleased to hear this, he mused to himself, his face stern though amusement shone through in his dark red eyes.
Shaking his head at the rather relieved owner of the stall, he moved on, his guard creation stepping off with him. Indeed, this new flesh golem had turned into quite a useful commodity. It was strong, it was fast and it had enough boney horns and blades embedded into it's back, head, shoulders and arms that it was proving to be an incredible repellent for anyone stupid enough to to and assault such an obvious member of the G'eld House.
Prau couldn't help but smile a little as he adjusted his collar then rubbed a hand down over his tattooed arm to slip up to another stall. Now this one was of interest indeed! So many stones and gems that would only be of use and interest to a person of a more magical profession. Yes, there would be purchases made here no doubt. Truthfully he was more interested in acquiring more interesting body parts and the corpse of a certain rare creature. He had been told that he would have had more luck further from home, but as of yet, he had yet to be impressed so far.

Jysayne walked slowly though the east dark market place taking in the familiar smells. He paused at a stall taking in the long thin needles the Three red blossoms used as hidden weapons before drifting off following the smell of cooking.

He paused for a moment as the delicous smell of cooking turned to something different. Necromancer. He thought, looking at the flesh golem before switching to the drow, leaning over the gem sellers. He hummed slightly moving slightly closer to get some idea of the drows rank and family. Chestnut rice bowl..odd drow with a flesh golem...

Flesm golem, who knew perhaps he could make a little bit of money directing the other around the market. His family had been traders. But first...getting close with out ending up scewered..

Prau, obviously, had no need to keep his senses purely on making sure that no one was trying to approach him, he had his golem for that purpose. It was a sharp one this time too, had had taken great care to build in the senses of a hapless drider, their quick reaction time and their impeccable ability to sense when they were being watched and from what direction. There were many other creatures in the mix which had made the harmonizing of their bodies quite tricky, but he was confident in his skills and had pulled it off with minimal hitches in the process.
He continued to paw over the stones, selecting a few along with a few herbs that would at least make his workshop smell a little more pleasant. He hadn't a use for them by means of magical necessity, he dealt in flesh.

His golem of course had noticed the disturbance in the flow of people around his master and as quick at the enchanted undead flesh and bone could it had turned to face the oncoming drow, a spiked bladed arm raised in defense, an odd coloured liquid starting to oozed from it's toothy maw as it issued a slow, low warning growl.

Prau lifted his head from his transaction, handing over a small bag of coins in exchange for the goods. What was wrong this time then..? His hand went to his staff.

Jysayne rocked slightly on his bare feet, sliding smoothly into a wider as the other growled at him. Flesh golems where so disgusting and this one was oozzing something odd of all things. His figners played with the needles tucked in his robes.

"Good evening," he said smoothly trying to calm the others nerves. "Care for a guild? "

Dipping to the side fractionally, the necromancer ran his ruby eyes over the lithe robed figure who dared to incense his golem.
"A good evening to you too, stranger.." He offered quietly for now, turning back to the stall for a moment longer as he finished conversing with the stall keeper. He had been interrupted, so for now he was more than content to allow the stranger to wait for his attention once again. With a nod at last he tucked the larger pouch into a fine hide satchel, turning to step up to his fleshy minion, resting a hand on it, the creature instantly ceasing it's growling to stand quietly by it's masters side.
"A guide..? Well, I'm not sure if you would be familiar with the items that I have traveled this way to seek.. What places are there here of interest to me here? You should know my profession, there are certain rarities that I seek for use with my skill.." He eventually offered with a quiet voice. His tone bore no malice, but he liked, evidently, to get to the point. There was no sense in being nasty unnecessarily to a stranger, All the same, he had no intention of allowing for someone to waste his time.
He waited patiently for an answer, throwing a thick, leather lined cloth up over the smaller spines of his golems shoulder, "Kneel," he instructed, watching the creature dip he then hoisted himself up onto the cloth, "And rise.." The creature rose and he found himself looking across the crowds and stalls at last.

Jysayne quickly ran his eyes over the others face, tucking it back to remeber latter just incase they met again under less..friendly terms. He slide back to at ease, warly watching the golem. Perhaps he should have paid a little bit more attention..

He blinked, before grinning. "Well for one, you are compeletly in the wrong area is you are looking for parts. Carvans don't like holding them for long and unless they are going to be dried for various purposes you need a contact to get fresh." Some parts of various creatures where dried and then used for medicines. "Would try the slave pens or one of the acpothys...the private ones."

Seated fairly comfortably on the shoulder of his golem, Prau felt calmer in a sense of the word. He did not fear walking the streets of an unfamiliar part of the underdark, his family held too much sway for it to be of too great a concern to him.
"The wrong area, you say? I have had a good explore through these parts," The necromancer started again, quietly his voice just about audible over the hum of the crowds, "But then I suppose the night is still young.. I trust you can take me to a place that deals in exotic creatures of the surface world? There are certain parts that I need, but a live whole creature would be just a suitable for my purposes.." He gave the youth an inquiring look, "Of course, if there is success in this matter, your time shall be rewarded.." He touched the satchel to make a point.

"Open market good for some things if you have enough gaurds to keep the Shebi from getting your wares." He paused, exotic surface world creatures. "Well..." he paused trying to remeber which was closer, and open to the public. Most of the ones he knew where private rustles, had known where contracted.

"White downs beastiery expensive trains exotic creatures to be gaurdians for the nobles. Mi-sangs small but exotic herbilaium deals in dried and fresh exotic parts of surface critters.." He paused trying to think of anyone else. "...Akki private...private..contract only.." He shrugged. "White down's is closer then Mi's.

The older drow looked thoughtful, leaning an elbow against the bone plates of his golems head, rubbing his cheek thoughtfully with the other hand. It seemed like such a bother that all the places he needed parts from where by appointment only. He had heard such good things about them!
"I have my guard, I should think that the market wouldn't be a problem at present.." He shifted a little, the hand on his cheek resting on his knee instead now as he hooked the bottom of his boot on one of the golems horns protruding from its upper arm. "The beastiery would be a good bet next then, they had better be open to haggling however. I shall not tolerate inflated prices for weak stock.." He nodded, confirming his choice.
"Lead on then.. Then.." He paused, looking down to the robed drow, beauty, "What is your name, for that matter.. It would be rude indeed of me to refer to you as boy.." He smiled gently at that, reclining against his minion.

"Since you don't want anything to be trained it should be reasonable priced. You show him you know what you are doing and have an eye for the beasts he might cut down the price." Jysayne eyed the golem slightly uncomfortable. It was...just ick. How did necromancers ever handle their trade? Let alone ride on one.

"You can call me Kai," Jysayne replied moving gracefully in a half circle since the beastiery was where he was going in the first place. White downs was close to one of his favorite stir fry venders. "It's a bit of a walk...he also has an office around here where you can contract for beasts." Was the elder smiling? ..."I was not blessed with your name either sir." Rezzy would be pissed if he just barged in with out giving some warning of who he was to deal with.

The older drow just continued his slightly soft smile, "Kai.. I am know as Prau from the House of G'eld.. And as for the walk.." He gestured to his makeshift mount, "I am well prepared.. You're welcome to join me, of course.." He offered politely with the barest hint of mockery. He had certainly noticed the younger drows unease beside his golem, it looked like his flesh wanted to crawl.
"I do hope that you'll be able to put me in contact with the owners of the shops. It would make my job an awful lot easier.. Do lead on, Kai.." He added, recalling what is what that he was doing here, uttering to his golem to follow the young drow. It took a few steps, bringing itself and it's master closer to the robed man.

'Prau G'eld..now why did that sound familair..' Ooh he really should have pay attention but classes where just so boring. He sigh before a reflex shudder actually went though the small frame at the offer. Ride on that? His lips pursed. "Can't lead you if I'm on that.." How did you get a golem to follow directions?

"...Rezzy a friend," he muttered starting off into the crowd swiftly. "Might be able to if he's not busy." Not a good friend, and he hasn't seen the other in a few months since the whole adoption thing. But Reezez still let him call him Rezzy. "His name is Ree'ez."
PostPosted: Sun Feb 24, 2008 6:42 pm

Prau shrugged a little, still smiling, "Well, suit yourself then. He's very responsive to our language even if he cannot speak in return.." He made a vague gesture, as he spoke, leaning a little more on the bone plates of his minion. The golem set off directly after the younger drow, the crowds parting like a sword through flesh to allow the horned monster to pass.
"Ree'ez.." He mused aloud, listening to his guides words, "That's a name I shall have to commit to memory." He nodded again, shifting a little more comfortably on the rolling shoulder of his mount, fingers curling against it's armored skull. "I would hope that he would be willing to make time for someone of my House?"

Ride the golem...yeah, not going to happen. No, no, and no. The only useful thing the monster had was it parted the crowd. No one wanted to touch the creature. Faintly he wondered if he could catch anything from the golem and preposed to bathe very very well when he returned home.

"He should...unless there a new shipment...then trying to get him away darn near impossible. Unless you want to get bit, stung, claws, or trampled on by some odd critter." Jys replied. "His beast come first then cliental."
