It had been a few days since Rishi had taken Thanda to his favorite place in the jungle. It brought a smile to his face, even now, thinking about it. Her smile was something that he enjoyed above all else. He was now wandering from his den through the jungle. The male had no real destination in mind. He normally never did. But today would be a good day to search for any supplies that he might need. He never knew what kind of plants or flowers he'd find on any given day.
His lime green eyes scanned the area, taking everything in. The sounds the jungle made were just so different than the savannah. There was just a different air here, this was his home afterall. His tail flicked slightly as he continued forward.

Alana was also wandering through the jungle. She was still coming to terms with the fact that her daughter would no longer need her no matter what it was she did. Her daughter was old enough to look after herself and though it made Alana smile that she had brought her up so well, she couldn't help but wonder whether she would ever be needed in that way again. She could only hope.
She hadn't expected to bump into anyone. She had decided that today would be the one day that she didn't look for someone for Hera. Though she adored her friend she hadn't found anyone suitable for her and she was sure that one day she would find someone for Hera but today would not be that day. However when she saw a male leopard not too far off it did take her a while to remember today was her day off.
"Hey!" She called over. After all, why not have some friendly conversation?

As his lime gaze shifted over the various plants, Rishi had also let his gaze shift over the leopardess not too far off. It wasn't until a voice had called out to him. He had done a double take of the area before he spotted the leopardess. How could he had missed her in the first place? Was he that involved with his thoughts? He brushed the thoughts away before he turned to head in the direction of the leopardess. With a smile, he greeted her, "Hello!"

"Sorry did I interrupt you in some way?" She smiled softly, her voice calm and gentle as always.
"I am Alana." She smiled looking him over again. Again she had to remember that she wasn't looking for a mate for her friend. She had clearly got too use to the idea that she was looking for a mate! She laughed a little to herself and smiled.
"I haven't seen you around this are before." It was just a comment, she hadn't seen him before, not that she could recall anyway.

At the female's question, Rishi shook his head. "Oh no, you weren't interupting anything. I was rather just wandering around with no real intentions." He flicked his tail slightly before he smiled to her, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Alana. I'm Rishi." He introduced himself to the leopardess. It wasn't every day that he had gotten the chance to run into another of his own species as they tended to be rather solitary and keeping to themselves.
Though, her question brought forth a nod, "Yea, I'm not from this part actually. It's rather nice to venture to a place of the jungle that I have not been to before."

Alana nodded,
"Where abouts are you from?" She was curious. Though this was her home territory she did wander quite often, just to meet others or just because she got bored of seeing the same things day after day. That and at the moment she had a very important task! She had to find Hera a mate!
"It is a pleasure to meet you Rishi." She nodded her head polietly picking up on the strange scent that cling to the leopard, though she didn't comment on it.

At the question, Rishi tried to think of where he could relate his den to. A few moments afterward, he replied, "I guess you could say that I live close to the small waterfall that is some distance behind me. From there, it's not too far from the savannah. I generally tend to stay around there or not too far into the savannah, but today I wanted something different."
His eyes gazed over Alana, it wasn't very often that he ran into those of his own kind. It was more often than not that he ran into another feline species, something that he looked forward to. "Are you from around here? I don't think I've been this far into the jungle, but I know there are all sorts of plants and flowers that grow deep in the jungle that are rather useful." He blinked before realizing he might be rambling on about himself.

Alana nodded, wondering whether she did know where he was talking about or not. Chances were that she did know but just couldn't remember at that time. In fact, yes she had taken her daughter there one time when she was younger.
"Yes I know the place." She smiled, the memory of her daughter as a small cub dancing around her head.
"I live here with my daughter, though goodness knows where she is now. She is old enoough to move on to new things if she wished." Alana chuckled a little, she loved her daughter.
"There are many plants and flowers but why would you want them?" She was curious, a leopard looking for plants and flowers made no sense what so ever! Well, unless he was making a comfy bed which is what Alana did for Heu when she was a small cub.

Ears perked forward as Rishi looked at Alana. Oh? She had a daughter? That was nice, he hoped to one day have a family of his own. "You have a daughter? I hope to have a family of my own someday." He chuckled softly along with Alana.
His tail flicked slightly before he perked up a bit. It always seemed to catch other's attention when he talked about picking flowers or leaves. The male couldn't help but smile inwardly, it would always make for a nice ice-breaker in a conversation. "There's a question I know an answer to!" He gave her a large grin before replying, "My mother taught me that each flower and each plant had a special property about them that could help aid you. She taught me how to put stuff together to help with any pain or sadness or any type of ailment that might otherwise dampen your spirit," A brief pause, "I like to go about collecting all the plants not only to make stuff, but to also do it in a way to remember my family."

Alana smiled, most she met wished for a family of their own one day, it was just one of those things she supposed.
"Oh thats nice, a sort of rememberance thing." Alana smiled, she lived in the jungle to remember, though she had left once, she had regretted it, though it had given her Heu and she loved Heu ever so much.
"I did not know all plants could help, I knew some could." She had been told about some in stories as a cub, just a few though. She thought that was normal as the jungle was full of plants that could harm you as well as help you.

With a nod, it was a nice way to put it. Rishi had begun to do it mostly to remember his family by but over time it had almost became a habit of his just as much as it was to remember his family. "That's a nice way to put it," He paused before continuing, "It's just something that I feel that I would like to pass down to my cubs one day. To give them something of my family since it's just me." That was the downfall, he was all alone with no siblings or parents left here.
"Well, just about every plant can help. But, not all are good, some are rather harmful. Trust me, I definitely learned that out the hard way!" He let out a soft chuckle.

Alana smiled, "That is sweet!"
She liked the idea of passing something down to children that could be passed down and down just for the sake of remembering those who came before you. She let the smile linger on her face as she thought about it. It was so sweet.
"I didn't know that, I shall keep it in mind! Thank you for letting me know that!" She smiled wondering what plants were harmful. She hoped she wouldn't come across any.

A soft chuckle escaped from Rishi. He knew it probably wasn't very often that females found males that were into the sentimentals of things, but this leopard was one of them. He was very much into things that had an ulterior meaning, something more than what meets the eye. "I like to think so, it makes me look forward to the future at least."
His tail flicked gently as he grinned, "It's a pleasure, I am always up to help out wherever I can." It was then that he realized just how long he had spent here and thus, should be getting back towards his den. With his lime gaze on Alana, he bade her a farewell, "I think I should be getting back to my den. It was a pleasure meeting you, Alana and perhaps we shall see each other again!" He surely hoped so, it was nice to make friends in the solitude of the jungle. The leopard lingered with Alana for a bit longer before he turned to head back in the direction of which he had came from.
