Kyrenx I'm considering rehosting the Little Cup tourney but am having trouble with ideas on the prizes. Hmm... perhaps some gold for the winner and an IV bred Pokemon of the winner's request? I will be providing the gold. 3k is reasonable.

perhaps we could put the idea of an Elites League back on the table? If there aren't enough good trainers in the guild for a full 8, we can open the idea of trying out for it to the guild. But it looks like we have 5 mods right now, just enough for an E4 and a Champion.

I was thinking along the same train of thought there powuh_of_PIE3142. I've even worked out a few rules and guidelines to both of those tournaments (Gym Leader Tourney & The Little Cup). Of course these rules are still subject to change depend on how you all would rather have the tournaments run, though with Koishii not having wi-fi, i'm not sure how he'd effectively hold an Elite four or Gym leader position (Sorry Koishii razz ) outside of the use of Shoddy. Either way, here goes the list of rules i've worked out so far:Quote: Little Cup TournamentDate: TBA Time: TBA Max Contestants: 16 Theme: Little Cup
* You must only use level 5 Pokémon
* 3 on 3, Free Battle (single)
* Only first-form Pokémon capable of evolving are eligible (ie: Phione, Pichu, Torchic, Munchlax)
* Banned moves: Dragon Rage (always deals 40 damage), Sonicboom (always deals 20 damage)
Clauses in Effect:
* Species Clause: All of your Pokémon must be different
* Sleep Clause: You can only put 1 of your opponent's Pokémon to sleep
* Self-KO Clause: Your Pokémon cannot use moves like Explosion or Self-Destruct to win if it's the only Pokémon remaining on your team.
* Freeze Clause: You cannot freeze more than 1 of your opponent's Pokémon that hasn't been KOed yet.
* Item Clause: Each Pokémon on your team must hold a different item. (Leftovers included.)
Notes: Those were the standard clauses back in Stadium 2 for N64. I pretty much copied the rules verbatum. Concerning the Freeze Clause, you won't be penalized if you like.. use Ice Beam on 2 Pokémon and both freeze. You can't control that in D/P. Or if you use Shroomish and it's hit with a physical move, it's trait 'Effect Spore' can cause things like Paralysis or Sleep on the foe. That's out of your control so it won't disqualify you.General Rules
1. If you used a cheating device like AR, CB, or GS to hack in fake Pokémon, max stats, etc. then please do not scam us and enter this tournament. This is only open to honest trainers with official teams. If you can't find shinies and your friends hack them for you and trade them to you, don't enter. If you don't feel confident about your team, just don't enter. Play fair. Trust in your own abilities.
2. Please do not disconnect from the match and make up a bogus excuse to cover it up. Make sure you have a strong WiFi signal. If not, just don't enter.
3. Voice chat must be turned off.
4. No shiny Pokémon may be used.
5. You may not change your team at all throughout the tournament.

Just so everyone knows, I've recently found out there is a Wi-Fi connection floating around in my room XD. Its good, but not great. I usually have a two-bar connection, and sometimes go down to one. so, even though i have a connection, its faulty(I could dissconnect, sorry) if it gets in the way while in a tournament, and I dissconnect, the other player can just say they won, because they probably would have anyways XD. But, what I'm saying, is that I'll be a lot more active with guild affairs, because I can connect to Wi_fi now.

Ooh, this looks very interesting.
I myself am a Bug-type gym leader in another guild (and was recently completely destroyed by Kyrenx. XD) I'd love to enter the second tournament. I recently finished training three Pokémon, but I can do three more (hopefully (probably not)) by the time we start this.
