So, this morning, I was just going to eat breakfast, and then work on homework, instead "Final Destination 3" came on, and I was like "Oh, I'll just watch this! It'll be a really stupid movie, so I'll only watch like 1/2 hour of it." WRONG! I watched the whole thing, and now I feel sick to my stomach.

Also, last night me and my friend went onto someone's VJ that had Sweeny Todd on it, and as soon as he slashed someone's throat and there was tons of blood, my lip started bleeding. I mean, not just a little blood, this was a lot of blood for a lip to bleed, spontaneously at that!

So...discussion time!

heart Movies that make you squeemish heart
heart bad timings for occurences to happen heart
heart Gory/Horror movies in general heart

Woah, really?
That's strange that your lip would bleed like that, right at that moment!
Spooky... >o>

I like the Saw movies.
They make me pretty happy with the gore. =]
I love gore movies, though. <33

I love gore movies.
Gore doesn't really disturb me much. Unless I watch something from like... Orgish or something. D:

And it's spooky that your lip bled at that very moment.
If I were you I would have been all like, "OMGCOOL. mrgreen "

I think the lip thing is a coincidence that will never happen again. It decided to again spontaneously bleed while I was eating my lunch watching Mythbusters (which with my luck they were working with a pig head...dead pig head... @_@)

What's weird is I usually don't get too spooked by blood like I did this morning (and was queasy for two hours because of that movie). I can stand it in fictional movies, but not in things I know are real (like I can't stand ER or sometimes Law and Order if there's too much blood involved, but usually I can stand gory movies).

I remember watching "The Descent" with my Dad, though. Has anyone ever seen that? I felt there was a lot of unneeded gore in that. Also "Pan's Labrynth" (which I love to death, but my mother refuses to even think about ever again). Ugh! They freakin' cut his cheek open! @_@

I love Sweeney Todd. BEST MUSICAL EVAR. It's odd that your lip started bleeding right then, though.

Horror movies are pretty much the only movies i actually bother to watch. XD I like the gory ones, but not BECAUSE of the gore. It's incidental. And it usually doesn't bother me. I can't take anything to do with eyes or brains, though. x: I can't handle it.

The only gory movie that's ever really gotten to me was this one called Deadly End. I doubt if any of you have seen it. It's a B movie. Anyway, by the end i was screaming "WHY?! WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU DO THAT?! HOLY s**t!" With my hands over my eyes. Lol. Meanwhile, my mom was laughing like crazy as the killer guy got up off the table he had just cut himself open on and walked across the room with his intestines dragging on the floor. x:

Yeah, you enjoy that image. Cuz i didn't.

I love horror movies as well, but not extremely gory ones like I used to, such as Saw III or Texas Chainsaw Massacre. They're filled with so much gore theres hardly a point to the movie. =/

The worst (though funny) timing for something strange to happen was during the Amityville Horror. My mom and I were watching it one night, and during the scene where the guy is holding the axe to chop his wife, the power went out. 'o.o lol

I haven't seen any good horror movies lately. The last movie I saw was Eraserhead. So bizarre I don't think anyone could possibly write a review. lol It's a great movie, though.

I absolutely adore horror movies! I just sometimes have a hard time with gore. Recently, here are the ones I've seen:

House On Haunted Hill (remake) - Hated it, it was a disgrace to the original Vincent Price one!
The Descent - First movie in a while I'd seen in the dark, it totally freaked me out! It was all suspense and then gore...I could have lived my whole life without seeing someone with a compound fracture...-shudders-
The Haunting (both versions) - I love the remake of it, its absolutely wonderful! The house is absolutely beautiful, but poor Owen Wilson...its only this movie and Night at the Museum I like him in...
Final Destination 3 - The one that made me queasy...I thought it was just gore, and it was unneeded gore...
Aliens - CLASSIC! I've seen most all of them (there's four, right?), and the first two are the best! Wonderful horror movies!
Pitch Black - I just watched it again, this was one of the only ones I couldn't sit through a few years ago the first time I watched it. I couldn't watch it all the way through it freaked me out.
