Feb 23, am viewing of the Matrix.

Il Palazzo, Ranten, and Miss Cat attended a viewing of The Matrix- where Il Palazzo insisted on transforming into Neo and making everyone see how cool he looked..(murmuring something about a dream come true)... and then into Trinity- (yelling embarassingly loud for everyone to 'look at my Trinity butt')

It was a blast, even if the movie wasn't in sync and members popped in and out at times...

The overall consensus was a group viewing bombed- unless we invite members to a private viewing.

A Shadow Over Gaia: Guilds Plagued by Dreaded "General Error" by Triggerhappy938

It's been nearly a week since the incident started. Innocent Gaians going to post in their favorite guilds, only to be greeted with "General Error" where their redirect screen should be. What does it mean?

Well, few are quite sure. Moderators have been loath to speak of this new menace and information is sparse. What we do know is it seems to be a problem all over the gaia guilds system, but not in the main guilds. Many are hopefully awaiting any form of recognition from the problem from the moderation team, but so far the only official word we've gotten on it was "Have you tried clearing your cache?"

Many have theories as to the source of the problems. Some think it's a side effect of updates being done to the guild system. Others suspect something far more sinister.

One anonymous gaian comments "This is just another way for them to control you! Next thing you know we'll all have barcodes on our necks and curfews and before you know it, poof! All civil liberties gone! Fear big brother gaia!"

So, what do we do in the meantime? Hit the back button twice after each post, as far as this reporter can tell.

I'm not reporting anything, I just want to say that I think the newsletter looks amazing.

AFGEOCM in a panic, Captain and Vice-Captain AWOL by Triggerhappy938

Panic levels have been reaching a head today as the question of our fearless leaders' locations remain unanswered. Guild Member another_average_asian stated his concerns on the matter. "If lord Ilpalazzo is gone, who will lead us? Who will inspire us with their shiny headband? Who will guide us with a cool looking cape? We are Lost and the world as we know it is gone from our eyes only to live in our memories as days of cookies and glory."

Even crew members are beginning to worry, sometimes to the point of panic. Ice_dragon01 was quoted, as she fought back tears "I miss leader-sama and Ranten-sama."

But there are voices of reason among the panic and chaos. Fang_Keeper_Agito came out an made this public statement. "We don't need Il-papa and Fukubuchou to hold our hands with everything, we can manage for a week or two, hell if it really comes down to it we could last a whole month if we resorted to cannibalism."

Many have said that Fang_Keeper_Agito's comments are blasphemy, and obvious proof of a plot to overthrow Lord Ilpalazzo. One anonymous informant, who's identity has been witheld to protect his/her personal safety, was quoted as saying "This is undeniable proof! The crew have taken our precious Buchou and Fukobuchou hostage! I say we burn them at the stake until one of them gives up the location of our fearless leaders!"

We live in times of great uncertainty, but of this you can be certain. I, Triggerhappy938, will continue to report on this story as new facts become available. Until then, hunker down. This could be a wild ride.

*Sits at his news desk, a blank news prompt on the monitor of his computer. Frustrated, TH wanders the newsroom. Desks are lined up, each neatly organized. Chairs are pushed in. Everything is neat and quiet.*

*TH picks the lock to the Editor in Chief's office. A pile of mail by the door topples over as he pushes the door. Dusty and stale, like an attic, TH coughs momentarily before continuing onward. Under normal circumstances, breaking into one's Editor in Chief's office would be a career death wish. But these were desperate times. Powering up his computer, and deciphering his password [shootexcelwithrocketlauncher], he begins to write, now with full access to the paper.*

Missing persons

I, Triggerhappy938, hereby offer a 200 gold reward to anyone who can provide ample evidence to the whereabouts and status of Buchou Ilpalazzo or Fukobuchou Ranten-ko. Also, until further notice, I, Triggerhappy938, will be filling the position of Editor in Chief until someone outranking me arrives in my office. Anyone with any information on our errant leaders, news they want reported, or who have interest in working for our honored publication, should PM me. Abel's Sex Change? Raven_Puppet emerges! by Triggerhappy938

Some may have joked about Abel_but_willing's iffeminate nature in the past, but few could have expected that he would be resurfacing as a she on the forums.

On Sunday, April 20th, Abel come online to announce that he was having unspecified troubles with his account, saying he would be unavailabe but watching in the coming days. Only a day later did he resurface in classic AFGEOCM fashion as what can only be described as a Clever Mule, Raven_Puppet.

One must wonder what our other leaders will be like when they return.

AFGEOCM Goes Outlaw?!

Perhaps a sign of the degrading state of the guild, talks have now begun of the AFGEOCM transforming into a gang of internet thugs, combating the recently formed Gaia police force.

Uniforms have already been picked out, and there seems to be very little opposition to the idea. Those interested in helping can find the thread on the matter on the front page of the guild.

One must wonder what our absent leadership would think of such brazen action...

Krad Ruhk Takes Charge, Pushes Guild to Rise Back To Power by Triggerhappy938

Krad Ruhk has made a dedicated push towards rebuilding the guild. From starting new threads, to organizing new leaders for the sub forums, Krad's efforts are popping up all over the AFGEOCM. Adorned in the trappings of our absent leader, Krad is making for a quite suitable replacement. We at the news crew look forward to what his next move is going to be.

Investigations are under way as to what method of score tampering was used in the unbelievable win by Barton in the Rejected Olympics. Many are pointing to prejudice against vampires on the part of the judges, while others believe the wing-headed allies of the Barton team may have seduced the officials. More as the story developes.
