I just got done with the Whodunit quest for the Dark Brotherhood. And besides infiltrating the Blackwood Company for the Fighters Guild, it's one on the more fun quests in the game. If you aren't familiar with the quest. Your sent to a "party" in Skingrad in the Summermist Manor. The point of the "party" is to find a chest filed with gold, and possibly the key to the mansion. Well, it turns out the party is a setup by the DB. The doorman actually is one of your Brothers, and locks you in the house. Well, your supposed to kill the guests one by one, without getting noticed by the others. If you aren't part of the Dark Brotherhood, I say join for the sake of this quest. rofl

Not only is that quest the funnest quest but it is also one of the most complicated to design because of all the options in dialog. I played the quest a few times to see what would happen 3nodding

The Wind Lord Zolaga Not only is that quest the funnest quest but it is also one of the most complicated to design because of all the options in dialog. I played the quest a few times to see what would happen 3nodding I only did it once. First I killed the Dunmer girl when she was waiting for the rich kid, then I killed the Redguard soldier while he was sleeping. Then I killed Rich Boy when he was downstairs alone, then the Drunk killed the grandma for me. Then I just killed the Drunk.

Torment pain... I believe there's already a thread talking about this.
Always save before you enter the house, so you can do this quest over and over. :3 Anyways, I just did that today and got the Dunmer, Redguard, and Nobleman all withing like... 2 mins. xD I'm like, "Nobody has even been up here yet to see the bodies! xD" then the Nord shanked the old lady that I was going 50/50 on and told her my baby was sick. xD Then the Nord went back to the table (fat pig) and I did the forward thrust attack with my Blade of Woe and his body went flying into the chair. He hit the chair so hard, he flew off and somersaulted in the air. xDD ... and bloody rain

Here is how my latest one went... I killed the redguard first and everyone was scared cause he had combat experience and blah blah blah. then the old lady, then the dark elf. that way primo would get mad and think the drunk killed his love interests. 3nodding

I just finished this one myself yesterday.
It wasn't very exciting or anything, but I would call it a freak coinsidence. The redguard and the drunk were in the main hall so I went upstairs. I found the right guy walking the hallway and, using my vamp sight, saw two others asleep. I killed the rich guy from behind, then went to talk to the redguard. After a little chat, I decided to go back upstairs, where I found the two women still sleeping soundly. First I fed then I killed each one with sufferthorn. After the second one flew upwards in a death sprawl, the door to downstairs opened. Oh crap I thought, there went my bonus. But no, it was not to be. It seems the redguard had found the key and came up to open the chest. While he was bent over I slashed with sufferthorn again. One more left. I went downstairs to find the drunk scared out of his mind...stuttering and stammering about. One quick slash to the balls and it was over. Mission complete.

I wonder if what you're wearing affects on the other people there.
I was wearing shrouded armor the first time I did that quest and even if everyone said 'wear something classy!', nothing happened.

this is my favorite quest for Dark Brotherhood 'cause Vincent tells you "for God's sake don't wear your hood". I came in and told the old lady my baby was sick. I went upstairs and killed the old lady and the redguard in their sleep. Then i killed the old man on the main floor while everybody else was in the dinner room. I followed the drunkard downstairs to the basement when he was getting another bottle of ale and killed him. I left the dark elf last so she could huddle in a corner with me crying and stuff and then i killed her. I also like this quest 'cause it has the most stuff to steal and sell. However, I do hate the next quest after whodunit 'cause i suck at being an archer.

that quest was so much fun. I saved the two lovebirds for last just to see if their love for each other would last. It appears it didn't and they attacked each other with weapons i personally supplied them now that was pretty fun. twisted

I love that quest. I look forward to it whenever I play a character that's going to be a member of the Dark Brotherhood (most of the characters I make).
I've never thought to save beforehand and do it over and over again. That's a great idea for next time (if I play the game again before Elder Scrolls V comes out, in which case I'm unlikely to play IV again).
