I bought the new Guilty Gear game.
So... I just might be gone for a while. ^_^;
Possibly.
I don't know yet.
All I know, is that I'm feeling those familiar blisters from Street Fighter III.
And in case you didn't know, that was a year ago, so I think I deserve to hear "Heaven or Hell! Let's Rock!" over and over again.

Happy a**-kicking ^_^Ho, ho, ho.... Guilty Gear? We have much to discuss. *Cracks Knuckles* Which one is it? Overture, or Accent Core? I've been pretty good at demolishing people with Slayer and Ky. I love those games. And I never really had a good chance to play SF 3. It makes me very sad. I remember playing it once in a movie theater arcade, but the joysticks and a few buttons were a little crappy due to runts and their unruly mashing.

NO KLIFF!! gonk And that weird "Stick people to walls ability seemed kinda cheap" and my god, that new narrator sucks. But I-No? Yeah, she's a pain, but is it that Heart-bubble-death move thing that's bugging you? It's simple to dodge if you know the method (need a pinch of help?) TEYAH!! VOLRUCANIC VIPAH!! BANDIT, REVOLVAH! Man, I could bash heads in that game for hours. Yeah, those Street Fighter 3rd strike players are PRETTY intense. As in, knowing every combo of every situation and can react in a split second. I think they take that game a bit to far. (Who do you normally use? The 1st place guy was a Ken user, wasn't he?)

Most of the time, I just use Faultless Defense against the whore who takes off her clothes after she beats you silly. Still hurts though... And to be honest, I was the Ken user in that tournament. I was damn good at it too. I shamed all of the other Ken users when I advanced in the semi-finals. I even landed 3 supers in a row on one of the store clerks. But I digress, the 1st place chump champ was a Urien user. God, I hate his name.

Heh. He sounds like an awesome moron like that. And did you ever see the Opening video for Guilty Gear X? "You let her live! You're such a boyscout!" He sounds like an old italian mobster grabbing his crotch when he says that. xd
You're talking about blocking her Megalomania move? Bad move man. You'll run out of tension like nothin, take tons of chip damage, and have no chance to get your delicious, hard hitting overdrives in.
Here's what you gotta do. When she sends out that attack:
If it's the long, slightly curved line, run to the very opposite end of the stage and crouch.
If it's the up and down Zig-Zag, then get under one of the lines and walk forward when the line shifts slowly.
If it's the REALLY BIG one where it fills up practically the entire screen, don't worry. Just do a double jump right in front of her and the bubbles will fly right under you really quickly.
And please, never engage her in the air. She'll pull out a lightning fast Ultimate Fortissimo and that'll hurt.
And hey! Atleast Accent Core doesn't have the ridiculously difficult story mode! It makes me shudder trying to do Dizzy's 2nd path (V.S I-No with extra power, and you CANNOT retry.) And Zappa's too. Even if some of the other ones are really cool.
Oh! Damn. That's a pity. But was there something special about the store clerks, or the fact that you landed 3 supers? Like, are these SUPER STORE CLERKS or something?
Gah. Urien. He needs some damned pants. Friggin' Aegis reflector gets spammed too much.
Whenever I get the chance, I use Yun (Because I have CVS 2, and he was one of my favorites from that one, other than Iori and E.Honda) But I got killed by CPU Oro on stage 4. Do you have any hints for using Yun?

And in a sense, the store clerks were pretty super.
In the "I can kick your a** horribly" way.
And GAAAAAAAHHHHHH Capcom VS SNK 2.
I'm such a Ken in there, at least, when I'm not using Rock Howard.
And tips for Yun?
Hmm...
If he's still got that super from SF III that makes him uber fast then wall combos are the way to go.
I'm not sure if this'll help, I'm not a very Yun-person. sweatdrop

Grrrr... I hate Rock Howard. Mr. "Look-at-me-I-got-angel-wings-and-I'm-such-a-F&$king-prettyboy".
Geese is way cooler in my opinion.
Super that makes him uber fast, oh! That one with the blueish green after images of him? No, sadly he only has the one where he combos and kicks in in the air, and the one where he does the 3 punch one that knock you into the sky. And this crappy one where Yang jumps in and does some kind of punch combo. Easily whiffed and slow. Well, I guess there is the custom combo system that I could use...
Pity you couldn't have gotten the 1st place. Still, 4th isn't too terrible! biggrin

I really wish I could use other characters in KOF, but sadly, I'm only really good with Terry Bogard and Rock Howard.

Well, I guess it's because they always make the main characters the best and easiest to use. But they get really dull after a while. Hadoken after hadoken, dragon punch, Dragon Punch, Dragon Punch... rolleyes
