How to Wrestle
When you attack, you may not godmod, so you may only attempt moves. Godmoding is when you attack your opponent with out giving him or her a turn to reverse it.
Right: Undertaker attempts to hit Kane with his Tombstone Piledriver.
Wrong: Undertaker hits Kane with a Tombstone Piledriver.
Taking Turns: Also, in order to make thngs more organized, during matches you must take turns. That way, you can reverse, and what you do in a match actually makes sense.
No Shows: There is a 2 day auto-hit. If you ropponent does not post the next day then you get the auto-win.
~In other words, you win after 3 days of inactivity you win.~
Winning: A match is won when one superstar decides to tap out or get pinned. This means, if you have been being beaten for the entire match, have that reflect in whether or not your character taps out.
Rules: 1. Do NOT godmod! Never ever!
2. When talking out of character, you must use (( ))!
3. Be active! Inactivity will not be tolerated! If you are inactive for more than 2-3 weeks without telling anyone why you're gone, you will be banned.
4. Any flaming outside of character will NOT be tolerated! You will only get one warning for this, and if you do it a second time, you will be banned! If you're going to flame, take it to the PMs!
6. Correct Spelling and Grammar. It's not that hard people!
7. Keep romance at PG13
8. Do not ask for title shots unless I feel you are worthy.
9. Roleplaying- Keep it based on wrestling. This is a wrestling guild not smallville!
10. No spaming! That means posting worthless crap.
11. Reals are fine if you act like you character! If you have Edge not cheating wanting a match you are not using his correctly. If you have Randy Orton acting like a good guy you are not using him correctly either.
12. No clones! This means making a wrestler and using his/her picture. Do not use the REAL wrestlers last name. Example biggrin rake Hardy(Which is clearly someone trying to be a hardy)
13. Do not post or interfere in forums that you have no business in. This means interfering in matches. Unless you ask permission from the wrestlers involved in the match or promo. When asking for permission post in OOC on the match or promo. All wrestlers involved in the match or promo must agree.
Side Note/Tips 14. There are championship rematch clauses in the this guild. If you lose your championship you can cash in your rematch clause when ever you wish as long it is within the next two cycles. You must... I repeat you must make a promo clearly stating you are using you rematch clause! Don't just run into a match saying you are cashing in your rematch clause. Any tournaments in this guild that is for a shot at the championship work the same way.
15. Tip: When doing an action use ** this to indicate an action. Example: *DJ walks over to the bar*
These rules will be effective as of right now. Credit for this goes to Matt Shanahan, DJ

Hope to make a good RP Alright here are a few tips when roleplaying here in ICW. While talking in Character Please use "" to indicate that you are speaking. Quote: "You will regret those words." Silver leaves the bar. C'mon those very few people that don't use 'them, its not that hard to type two extra keys xd . Out of Character (OOC) When talking out of character, please use (()) to indicate that you are talking. And please don't say 'Let me wait until my partner is on' or 'wait until they are online again'. Just say... Example ((Hey, let's wait for my partner)) Silver waits for his partner. Roleplaying: Please try to be realistic, like 'I pop out of a hole in the ground' is not realistic at all. Or somehow becoming a ninja. Promos: Promos are meant to hype someone up, or even hype up a match. They can also be used as open challenges. But this doesn't mean you can just come out and hype yourself up too. Do not interrupt a promo just to interrupt it, the person that made the promo must agree with it. make sure to clear it with them! This could lead to banning eventually if you interrupt un-neededly more than twice! Calling out a certain person; when you're not wanted: Now, when it comes to calling someone out, unless they say your name, and ask you to come on down, don't interrupt it. You're just gunna make everyone hate you probably and make yourself look stupid. If they call someone else out, they obviously don't want to see you. Too bad, go post somewhere else. Grammar: Make sure to use CORRECT grammar and quotation marks to make it look clear. Bad Example: Quote: u goin down sUcK@!?!?!?!? Good example: Quote: Do you actually call yourself a legend? Please, you're nothing more but a waste to this industry. Calling out a certain person/Must have a reason
When you're calling someone out, make sure you got a reason. When you just want to call someone out for the hell of it, you're not having a good reason. Now let's say, Matt was in a feud with Knockout, and Justin decides 'Hey, I want to beat him up too!' and decides to call Matt out. No, this is not a good reason, you're just going to mess up a good feud. Now, if you ask, and Matt and Knockout decide 'Hell, this could be awesome, let's let 'em in on it', then Justin has a reason, and now you got a handicap feud. Video promos Alright, we all know what these are, right? You know, promoting yourself without wanting to get involved with someone else? Yeah, well the general idea of these is to NOT GET INVOLVED! This means that if someone does a video promo, and you decide you want to do one that says something about them, make your own topic for it! And don't come out during a video promo, unless it's planned. If it's calling you out, make a topic of your calling THEM out, and maybe they'll get their asses in the ring instead of the titantron. Planned Interruptions Now, when you go to a topic (And for now on, if something is planned, make sure to add that in OOC at the top of the promo), and it says ((Planned interruption)), this does not mean that it's planned for you to come out and interrupt! Now if that person PMs you and asks you to interrupt, then have at it! But don't interrupt without a good reason, or an alibi! I swear, that's the main thing that makes me mad more than anything else! Criticism: It is very important to take tips and accept criticism because sometimes criticism can be mean but it can help you out with a promo/feud. Now some people get angry when people use criticism on them. Don't be pissed off! Be glad because that person is offering to help your promo or feud. Some people on the ICW Roster took criticism from others when they were trying out and guess where they are right now! Apperence of an RP or Promo: It's important to give a promo or entrance a good apperence. Center it, give it some color, and coding. Coloring is another good thing to do in a Promo, to give it a nice good look. Cursing in RPs It is not good to curse a lot in RPs because it just knocks yourself down from being pushed or actually winning a match. It's good to curse once in a while in an RP but using the word "F***" is not appropriate to use in an RP. But using words like b***h and etc. are good to use. But don't use them too much! Entrances When you making your way to the ring you really really need to make it good. Cause you want to show your opponent that you are good at RPing at everything even with entrances Wrong Jeff hardys theme comes on. Jeff hardy walks out and runs down the ramp as fire works were going off. Here is how it shood be Right
 ::Loud beat sounds starts playing.::
: razz eople cheering, Girls Screaming. Little Kid's Yelling "HARDY...HARDY." When all eye's where on the Mouth of the Arena. Then came out JEFF HARDY.The whole crowed yelling out as hard as they can.Jeff started Jummping right to left. Then he stops, and lifts up his hand's that are wraped up in ripped long gloves. Jeff then started moving them up, and down with a motion. As 3 streams of pryo shot up for both sides of him. Jeff then jumped up, and started walking down throwing his arms in the air to the screaming crowd Come on people it is not hard. Credit: DJ, Matt, Damien Le, and Falco, and Josh

Guide Lines Welcome to the world of E-Feds! For first timers or people who need some help in general, these tips may help you. 1) Grammar! I can't stress this enough! Use the " key to talk in character. Do not use () to describe action! Do use (()) to talk out of your character. Example on what to do: Quote: "I am the Black Rider, the Dark Cloud, the Filler of the Void...I am Damian Le!" Damian drops his mic and points to the crowd as his theme plays. ((I'm hoping that I just did a good promo.)) Example on what not to do: Quote: I h8 u. (punches Carl and quickly leaves.) Now look at the good example. See how the person refers to his character in the third person. That's what you want. Some people will be extremely picky about who is doing the action so make sure you do it! Also, he does not use () to describe action. All he did is just what book writers usually do. 2) Promos! Phenom got this cover in the promo topic at the Whiplash, but just in case you don't want to look. Promos are there to hype up a person's character! Do not interrupt the person's promo unless they allow it or if it is an open challenge! If it is a video promo calling out a person, then make a video promo (on a new topic) as a response to the promo. 3) Now on to matches! Number one rule when it comes to make a match. Only the people who are running the E-Fed may create the match. The exception is with open challenges and you cannot go will-nilly with making open challenges! Now you may request a match, but only the GMs can give you a match. Number two rule. Learn to sell! To sell is to make an attack against you believable! Look a these two examples. Quote: After the powerbomb, Cena lies in pain. His body almost grows numb. Quote: After the powerbomb, Cena gets up. Now lets look at this. Example one shows how much a powerbomb can really feel. Cena, in the example, sold the attack by describing how powerful the powerbomb is. In example two, however, Cena just stands up. If I remember correctly, a powerbomb is a finisher and not just a punch, kick, or elbow. Now on to the next stage. Number three rule. No godmodding! I can't stress this enough 4) Character creation. There is some terms that I would like to emphasized. Real- an actual person that a Rper uses to roleplay. For example, EEW's Trytan is currently being roleplay by Lord Snickers. Trytan has appeared in TNA. Clone- it is a fictional character, but has some of the, if not, most of the same traits as an real life character. Darke Hardy is a clear example of a clone. Now, in some E-feds, the use of reals are available. In fact, the WIF is one of them that endorses it. However, if you are going to be playing as a real, then you have to act like the real person. For instance, if you are playing as The Undertaker in his current character, then he would not talk nor go and give people hugs and kisses. Now, it does not restrict giving reals a different gimmick. You can play John Cena as a bad guy rapper, but you still have to act like the bad guy rapper! Finishers, if you are using an original character, has to have an original name. I am extremely picky if someone created an original character and yet they have the their finishers named as FU, Batista Bomb, 691, or Swanton as their finishers. Do not get in my bad side! Now, lets look at the weight of a character. If a person is about 260 and yet they use a crusierweight type of finisher...then it is not ok! It is not even more realistic if a character about 150 lbs preform the chokeslam (unless he or she is playing as the Hurricane.) Try to be realistic about the types of moves that a character can do! EditSome heavyweights are able to perform cruiserweight moves so its not completley unrealistic to have a 260 or 280 pound man doing a hurracanranna every now and then. But having a cruiserweight performing a powerbomb on a 320 pound man is not okay.((Will finish later. Everybody is welcome to make suggestions on how to make this better.))

Wrestling Psychology Credit goes to Freakshow88. His words are true, and should be heard. To help improve the quality for all RPers. Freakshow88 Ok, I'm going to go on a little rant about he people don't exactly understand wrestling psychology, and maybe enlighten some ignorant people on there lack of psychology. Because, I'm starting to get tired of fifty people interfering in a promo they have nothing to do with, and only because they want to look like a bad a**/ rebel. Feuds: First of all. In a feud, the heel should be in control of the god damn fued. He should be doing all the beat downs, sure the face can retaliate, but is should be less successful. The only time a face should the the genuine revenge is at the climax of the fued. If the face does get revenge before the climax, the heel should do something back, except maybe a little bit more underhanded. If this happens, the climax will mean a lot more. its fine if the face attacks the heel backstage, but it shouldn't be from behind, it should be upfront, and then separated. Give the face something to lose, pride, his job, money, a girl, anything. I know this all sounds like it makes it more fun for the heel, but the face should normally win in the end, unless your...Putting someone over Putting Someone Over: Alot of people dislike putting the guy who is supposed to be on a roll, over. Say there is a guy who is supposed to be a monster, a psycho or something of the sort. When he comes out for the debut, don't have your character get all in his faces, and try takeing him down, especially if your characters a heel. Have the character get out of the ring when he makes his interest, or if he's a face, have him act kind of nervous. Unless there gimmick wouldn't have them do so. (Like if the characters insane and doesn't know better, or has a history with him. Badasses: Eveeeryone wants to be the badass. Im ok with it, I don't like it but im OK with it. What I don't like is that people don't give them social or mental weaknesses. I would say there Mary Sues. The only flaws they do have are the ones that make them look cool. If a heel is so cool, then why don't the fans just cheer him, and if the face is so vicious, then how is he a face. My character, is has a slightly dark persona, BUT, he's a disgusting human being, and paranoid. So please, give your character some UN redeeming quality's. Infact, the funnest person to RP is someone you wouldn't want to meet in real life The Flow Of A Match: I'll let the master of psychology Explain What Raven is trying to say is, don't do big moves in the very beginning of the match. Start the match up with standard wrestling (Lock up, into a takedown, head scissors out of the take down, kip up, face off) Almost halfway through, start doing little spots. Every match, or atleast hardcore match should have only one big spot, or even no spot at all. If you have a whole bunch of brutal spots, they seem less important because, the one before may have been better and you cant top that. And if I hear, I RP as Jeff Hardy, as an excuse, I'm going to kick a infant. FRIGGIN PROMOS!: Is it just me, or does it seem like everytime someone does a debut promo, or a stable promo, or any god damn promo. Someone always has to come out to put themselves over, and effectively ruin the flow of the promo. I know interrupting promos will improve the "Rebel Gimmick" That everyone seems to have. But it's not exactly needed, It's increasing your characters reputation of being a bad a**, but it'll also make you seem like an a*****e OOC. Only do it, if your setting to debut and you don't have a match, then make sure its an open challenge. To many promos have been ruined because of someone wanting to be a every single segment they could possibly be in. In the words of Lex Luger IM PISSED NOW! Debuts: Well...Put the guy over. The debut match is a show case of the wrestlers talent. Not a showcase of the other guys awesomeness, the person making the debut is a new addition to the roster, not a jobber. Put as much personality into the character as possible. Also, try not to do double debuts, someones going to lose someones going to win. Losing the first match is showing a future of an instant jobber, and nobody wants to look like a jobber...And yes, this is coming from a guy who lost his first ever RP match, its very demoralizing, and somewhat annoying if the guy won't put you over. Asking for a title shot: First of all, its more acceptable for a heel to ask for a title shot, because it makes him seem like he wont work for the shot (But only if you come in knowing its simply for heat purposes, and your not serious about it. The thing that I do hate, is Faces asking for title shots, and they say that the fans are behind it. Now how does it make since, that the heel is asking for a title shot and he's begging and whining when a face does it he's asking for what he deserves. 3nodding ((Posted by Jeckal))
