 Moonlight sat down beside the river. She wasn't busy...But bored. She put in all the stories she ever heard into her head. She knew a lot, but only one thing made her excited or happy: Mythological Creatures. She was quite interested, but didn't really believe in most creatures...But her all time favorite was the Phoenix. She was really intrigued that the phoenix can be born anew every once in a while. The Pegasus was pretty interesting too...But the Dragon was far more captivating...She was filled with many thoughts, and noticed the sun had barely risen over the high mountains of Byrnhild. She chuckled softly. Brynhild...Was the place where she did get seperated from her family...She looked at the sky, full of thoughts about her future. Should she remain as a single huntress, or should she go find a mate herself...? All the thoughts had washed around her head.

 Tatsuya had been wandering around the mountainside, searching for anything that could be harvested as food and be taken back to the clan. It was early in the morning, but that was when Tatsuya worked best. At least, that's when he normally worked. In the morning one could find all sorts of things.
This morning, however, he didn't count on finding a female from a neighboring clan.
As the black and neon male came down from the mountain he noticed another dark fafnir, only she had cherry blossoms and blue cloud whisps on her pelt, along with a silvery moon on the side of her neck it seemed. His first instinct was to stop and turn away, or even ignore her, but he was sure that she had seen him already as she seemed to be looking at the Brynhild territory.
Putting on a confident face and preparing himself to talk to another, which he wasn't readily a social being, he calmly walked over to her. "Hello there ma'am. My name is Tatsuya." With a bow he sat infront of the femme, unaware of her fascination with mythical creatures and dragons, him having what looked like a neone blue, yellow and white chinese dragon covering his back.

Moonlight turned to see a male close to her age walk by. He had addressed her quite kindly and well-mannered. But the first thing she can tell about this Fafner was first, that dragon...A symbol of wisdom and intelluctuality; Second, the dark color might have stood for silence or quietness. She smiled back, happy that she can have a chat with another Fafner. She caught his rubyish eye color with her own aquamarine eyes.
"Good morning, Tatsuya. Pleased to meet you, I'm Moonlight."
Moonlight bowed back, and watched the Fafner carefully. He might be from Brynhild, which she was 99.9% sure. She was interested at the dragon...This male did look like a bigger version of it after all.

"Lovely cherry blossoms Moonlight, and you have a beautiful name." He replied, hoping that she wasn't recieving these compliments as him trying for pick ups or something of the like. What ever happened to the days of old when one could give out compliments and have it mean nothing deeper than the truth? "It is indeed a pleasure to meet you ma'am." He noticed that she was staring at his dragon marking. With a friendly smile he hoped that this would make for an interesting conversation. "My name means 'become dragon and possess it's wisom and longevity' you know."

She laughed merrily at the kind comment. She never heard someone saying this to her before.
"Really, now? Thank you. That's quite a unique meaning within your name. Dragons, to me, are as interesting as the moon and the stars."

"And how interesting do you find the moon and stars?" Tatsuya asked, happy to have starting conversing with her after all. Tatsuya wasn't shy, but he didn't necessarily talk to other fafners every day or go looking for a conversation. Perhaps that was the reason he was so lonely? "Does your name have anything to do with you being a lovely as the graceful light that the moon eminates?" He asked, and not in a solely complimentary manner. who knows, it really could have a meaning, whether the name itself or the way she thought of it. After all, he had heard some pretty boring names before, even from his own tribe.

Moonlight thought of a few facts and myths she heard from a close friend of hers.
"There are possibly more stars in the whole galaxy more than the grains of sand on the beach. They say each and every star represents everybody who lived, lives, and will live. They say the moon was a Gracious Lady who had mysteriously floated above the clouds, always staring down the earth, watching for a way to bring her back." She paused a moment to think on the second question. "My Uncle told me my Mother had these blossoms and was a much more beautiful figure than me, except she bore the sun on her, not the moon. My father had fern leaves on his pelt and bore the moon on his fur. My Uncle also said my mother and father met each other in the full moon's light, so they called their first child, me, Moonlight."
That was so much from her for a quiet Fafner...True, she may not be a speaker, but she was interested in many things that had to do with either the solar system or mythology. Her family history was another subject she loved dearly, and she hoped it will be known for many generations.

Tatsuya was impressed at how much she knew. "Wow, not only are you pretty, but smart too." Perhaps there was more she knew and was willing to share... "Now I've never seen your mother, but I find it hard to believe that she would have a better figure than you, if you don't mind me saying. But that is a wonderful story. So, you're interested in dragons? I'm curious to see how much you know about them." Tatsuya had a particular interest in the subject for some reasons himself, one being his namesake, and two...well, look at him! Three, what wasn't fascinating about dragons?

Moonlight laughed once more. She then thought slowly, and responded....
"My mother was a brighter and sunnier version of me. But dragons...I have a hard time deciding, but I guess my favorite kind of dragon is the Eastern Lung. Especially that most start out as Koi and will be chosen to become a dragon..." She then shook her head. " I may sound smart now, but when it comes to something I dislike...I get bored and tired easily...."
Moonlight chuckled, then settled herself once more and gazed at the sky. It was quite bright now, with the sun over their heads.

Tatsuya could feel the warmth of the sun crawl up his dragon marked back as it climbed higher in the sky, but he paid it no attention. They had embarked on something better than he had been hoping for while he was harvesting, he found someone with similar inerests to talk to. But she belonged to a different clan, or so he assumed since they were more or less on the borders of the Brynhild and Hreidmar clan territories. Well, he knew of plenty of other fafner that had friends in different clans, so why not he? "There are many stories of Eastern Lungs. Like how the mother lays only one egg and carries it in her claw for a thousand years until it hatches, or they drop it in a moving river. I like them because of the wisdom they have, and one even taught a great emporer of China how to read and write, as no one knew how before then." Oh yes, one of his favorite subjects indeed. "And that they don't even need wings to fly, because they use magic instead. Their serpentine bodies so majestic, I'd love to see one for myself."
His head slightl cocked to the side at her last statement. "Really? Even if I generally dislike the subject I'll still talk to someone about it if they bring it up or want to pursue a 'debate' of sorts on it."

"True, true. I'm sure the egg would look quite like a giant pearl, right? Ahh, yes, their intelligence is unmatchable, doesn't it say? Lungs do float in the air, unlike their Western counterparts who have leathery wings."
Moonlight had finally found someone she can talk to without the other getting bored...She never really talked about this, so...

Tatsuya smiled, glad to have someone that knew as much or more as he in this subject and getting a little excited. "Yes, it would. And Wyverns like bats, whose wings are they're forearms wiith claws at the 'hand.'"

"Apparently, I've never heard of a Wyvern, but since you say its wings resemble that of a bat...I should go catch one for study tonight in my nightly walk...I've heard of the Feathered Serpant and the Lindworm. They're the ones that seems quite mysterious."

"Ah yes, the Amphithere. My favorite would have to be the Southern species, the Northern has more moth-like wings, only mysterious because the hide in the dense jungles. And be careful with Wyverns, having no forearms they have powerful backlegs that can pick up incredibly heavy objects, such as an elephant, and still fly away."

Moonlight looked up at the sky once more-The sun had almost set...!How long was she talking....? She had to get back to Brynhild...
"Um, it's quite late now. Can you please lead me to Brynhild...? We shall continue our conversations perhaps tommarrow?"
