There are, however, some simple rules, or "guidelines" to follow, so that it won't be ruined.. Kay?

Alright, here are some questions, and their answers..

Erm.. What's the journal for exactly?
The journal is created for your character.. From their day-to-day experiences up to the deepest feelings of emotions can be jotted down in one's diary, so why can't your charrie have the same?
Here, they can evolve from simple, shallow made-up names to complex and near-real witches and wizards!
Okay.. So how does this work?
Simple.. Just create the journal for your character, and start writing..
You can use any form, whether in third person or not, having the characters talk to themselves, or whether they consider their diary their greatest friend.. It's all entirely up to you ^__^
Is this a roleplay forum
No, it's not.. Or not entirely.. It's not made for the characters to walk about, and talk to each other.. It's not OOC (out of character) either, since it's all about your character, really...
Are there any restrictions to this forum?
Yes, a couple of simple ones...
- Every character can only have one thread for themselves, in which they post any and everything about them..
If, by any chance, you're roleplaying two different people, each of them has their own journal...
- No excessive swearing, cussing, or extreme dark plots which won't be able to be roleplayed anyways, it's not necessary!
- You cannot reply in other people's diaries, you cannot comment or object in that thread.. If, however, you do feel the need to point out something, PM this person and tell them!
- This is not a spam-place.. No one-liners here, unless needed to express the total depression your character's mood is in, if that is the case.. Make it at least a paragraph long in all other cases... Don't post more than one post per day, if you feel like you need to add anything, just.. edit your post >.<
Are there any requirements for this forum?
Yes, a simple one here as well.. Please remain semi-active in your journal... I don't want anyone to start a thread of their own, post once or twice, then leave the thread to die..
Post at least once every... two weeks ( Fair enough?)..
Even if it's just to say that your charrie had porridge for breakfast that morning, as long as it's alive!
Those who tend to forget about their diaries will risk the chance of it being deleted.. You have been warned!
How do I start up a journal?
Start a thread, and name it after your character... (followed, if wanted, by 's diary/ journal)
For example, my charrie is Ginny, so her diary will bear one of these titles:
" Ginny" , " Ginny's Diary", or " Ginny's Journal"...
-Please take note that everyone can read your journal, but they can not roleplay that their charries know what's going on, unless you've already told them so.. Diaries at Hogwarts are kept under spells and enchantments protecting them from anyone besides themselves.. No godmodding at that!
