-C'est la lune qui conduit la danse...-
There's nothing really to "feel Lolita" other than the clothes, imo.

I completely agree with the "proper manners" part. Lolitas should be polite.

On everyone who has said the "wear the clothes" I've got to agree. There's nothing better than putting on an outfit, either for kicks and giggles, or for the sake of seeing another lolita, in terms of lolita that is anyway. :3
Especially something newly made or fresh out of the mail.

Everyone in the world should be polite in general. But that doesn't happen. EDIT: Woah, that sounded unintentionally bitchy. D:

Wearing the clothes; I mean lolita is a fashion not a lifestyle.
I guess having English tea parties, and acting like a victorian girl would make me feel like I was in that time period, but I don't think of that as "acting lolita" We loli's of Japan call that roleplaying, playing the part we dress in because chances are 95% of us don't act like that except when we are in lolita, or when we are purposly roleplaying. For those that wear lolita everyday, yea, we don't have what you all call the "Acting lolita" or "likita lifestyle" I dont want to rant but simply, japanese youth want to express themselves, changing to fit a lifestyle totaly is the oppisite of that.
Everyone should be polite, I agree; not everyone thats polite dresses lolita, and not every lolita is polite. Thats as simple as I can put it.
