Kazuko padded slowly through the glistening white, wet terrain. It was chilly out as the essence of winter hadn't left the land yet, but it had invested it in a dazzling white, it was sightly but once it had repeated itself it began to get boring. Flicking his nose into the air to try catch sent of another, he failed, mainly because the cold air bit at his moist nostrils. Kazuko sighed, he had only been away from his parents for a short while, he hadn't seen his brothers or sisters in a while either, the company had died. He felt like the world had stranded him hopeless at this point, but being independent and not so good in the introductory section he found it quite difficult; soon thoughtless he jumped up onto a large boulder beside a lake, staring down at his odd reflection. "I wonder... What happens when the snow melts?" He asked himself, a quiet soft smile along his maw.

Asiya snuck through the trees, her black coat becoming bleached as the snow sifted down upon her. She saw the green and black male jump onto the boulder and froze. All of her children had grown up and gone off to do their own things, and she was hungering for contact with another. She eased her way towards him, staying hidden in the heavily snow-covered forest. After gathering her courage and trying to softly clear her throat, she stepped forward. "Hello," she said and then added mischievously as she processed what she had just heard. "I believe things start growing again and the sun comes out when the snow melts."

Kazuko lifted a very shocked gaze, his eyes wide in surprise not really noticing anyone was there, or expecting them to be there. "-oh. I'm sorry! I h-hadn't realized anyone was there.." He stuttered all of a sudden at the face of company; Shifting his back paws along the snow quilted boulder, he stared down at the female in answer to his question as a small soft smile casted her way. "That sounds nice... Its more of a description of the actual answer" He added for a moment staring down at the female. she looked harmless and for that reason he let his guard down a little, feeling more comfortable already."Spring" He chuckled happily, watching the snow slowly drift a blanket of white upon them.

Asiya smiled shyly back at him. "But can't the description be the answer as well?" she asked as she swayed towards him. When she got within a few tails-lengths of him she sat. "My name is Asiya. What might yours be?" she asked with a smile as her breath puffed into the snow filled air. She openly admired his odd but gorgeous coloring, even going so far as to get up and circle him to see the full affect of them. She sat back down in the same place as before and then blushed a little. "I'm sorry if that was rude or presumptuous, I've gotten used to being on my own." she said with a small smile as her golden eyes sparkled with contained emotion.

Kazuko blushed and stepped backwards wondering what she was doing, he had never known someone act that way over his markings. He kept his eyes solely on her then they fell to her own emotion filled ones when she sat before him. He could see how much she might of been through by just the expression she had pulled. He sat down and casted a soft smile towards her, the blush still painted along his cheeks. "T-thats okay.. My names Kazuko" He added, wondering what must of happened for such a pretty female to end up alone. "Its a pleasure to meet you Asiya" Kazuko smiled once more, sliding his paw to her own as he gently lifted it to place a light kiss in greeting upon it.

Asiya gasped when he kissed her paw. "Oh! I'm... pleased to meet you as well ." she said as she lowered her paw to the ground. Now she was the one blushing, though one could barely see it. On her cheekbones and around her eyes the golden dots shone even brighter than before. She smiled up at this one called Kazuko, and asked what she had been wondering since she saw him those few minutes ago. "Now, might I ask what you are doing in these woods?" After she asked she realized that that was quite an impertinent question and promptly apologized. "Ah! Sorry again... it seems that my mouth has decided to speak without consulting my mind." She then leaned forward a bit and laughed quietly "But really, why?" she asked as her head tilted to the side.

Kazuko let out a small laugh at her actions and curiosity, aye she seemed an odd one, but a polite lady at that. He was having trouble finding his words, not having much experience with the ladies, it was taunting but somehow he seemed to be managing; casting a look over her unique markings and the pattern around her face he smiled brightly. "No, no thats okay... Well I'm out here because I recently left home to find my own life and well, it led me here." He looked out over the snow filled land with a small shake of his head, his ears falling back. "But I'm stranded a little helpless than what I expected.. Never mind that, may I ask you the same?" He smiled, his ears raising back up.

Asiya smiled as his eyes roamed her face. He really was very sweet and caring, and though she seemed to feel that there was more of a story as to why he had left home she decided to leave it be. When he mentioned that he felt a bit more helpless than expected she nodded, completely understanding the feeling. Side-stepping his question she asked "Would you like to come back to my forest home? It seems to be getting colder, and I would not like to be stuck far from warmth at this point in the winter." She turned and walked a few steps before half-turning back to him and saying, "And as for the answer to that question... I will leave that story for when we are warm again, for it is long and involved." Then she fully turned around and smiled brightly at him, asking "Coming?"

kazuko blushed almost immediately panicking at her offer. "B-b-b-but! Are you sure! i mean i wouldn't want to intrude... and well, ahh this is so impolite of me!" He called placing a paw over his face to hide his shy blush and the sweat beads he endured and so far he thought he'd done well too... There was no doubt she was so sweet and she had been really nice so far. What could happen? He sighed yelling in his head to straighten up. Once he got to his feet, he lept off the rock and landed beside her with a kind smile on his face, fluttering his chill bitten wings as the snow flew off into the light breeze like sparkling powder. "That would be great.." He quietly added with a warm smile slipping his gaze away from Asiya and straight ahead so he could tune down his blushing state.

Asiya smiled at Kazuko's blushes, as she thought they were adorable. "Alright then, come along!" she said happily, enjoying the company of another sitara after so long on her own. She looked over at him as they walked along, and noticing that he was trying to control his blush, she tried to distract him. "Well, not that we are on our way, would you like to hear my story?" she asked

Kazuko slowly flickered his ears and took a small breath inwardly just enough so it wasn't visible of what he was trying to do; calmer now, he lowered his ears and let a polite smile shine Asiya's way. "I'm sorry, of course. I'm interested to hear what your story is" He admitted with a shy nod, his bright blue eyes calm as he looked over the black and yellow female. it would seem that in such short time, he was already beginning to feel more comfortable.

Asiya looked over at Kazuko quizzically. "What do you have to be sorry about?" she asked. As they moved along the path to her home she began her story.
"Many months ago, I met Luner_Wolf. He had already had children at that point, from a female named Sohalia. They were grown and 2 were not talking to him, though I had no idea why and as I was infatuated with him, I had no interest as to the "whys" either." She shook her head sadly as her past-glazed eyes teared up a little and then cleared. "Though I now wish I had asked... oh how I wish! But that is no matter, what is done is done. I met him, fell in love with him, and we were on our way to being lifemates when I found out that I was pregnant. We were both overjoyed at the idea and became even closer than before. Then, one day when I was traveling a bit I met Sohalia. She told me how Luner had acted after the birth of their children, namely taking 2 of the children he liked best and leaving her with the others. Hearing this, I was immediately afraid for the outcome of my encounter with Luner. I went back and talked with him, and that in no way re-assured me. I left him then... and I haven't looked back on that decision since." she said emphatically. She looked over at Kazuko and asked "Do you wish me to continue?" as she was afraid that she was boring him, but she wanted him to understand the circumstances that had brought about her current condition.

Kazuko looked at her with wide sympathetic eyes 'poor female...' He had realized she had been through a lot, he was certainly intrigued by her story, if he wasn't he would of surely took her eyes from her, but this story was nothing to misjudge. "I can see why you left... Thats terrible. How a male has any right to do that to someone... Family means two by there children's side no matter what, not just favorites..." He sighed, his eyes falling soft and deep as he looked over Asiya, he casted a soft smile and a light nod. "Yes... Please continue" Kazuko nodded. With such a story anyone can learn from another ones actions, he definitely knew she felt strongly about being toyed with by him because of the saddened expression she had when she talked throughout it. 'I'm sorry for your past...' he thought, praying inwardly as he waited for her to continue.

Asiya smiled softly at Kazuko. "Thank you." she said simply.
Then, turning back to the trail she continued talking. "I went to Sohalia and talked to her, as well as Mei Li and Sirius, and they allowed me to stay near them. I say allowed because that is what it truly was, I had no real reason to stay with them other than that I didn't want what had happened to Sohalia to happen to me. Her two children that had grown up with Luner... they refused to speak to her, to look at her. He had fed them lies the whole time they were growing up, and they couldn't function as adults around their own mother." she sighed here, and then looked at Kazuko. "I think anyone can understand why that would have filled me with terror at that stage, especially as my children were on their way." she said with a fierceness that was belied by her small stature. She shook her head quickly, dispelling the bad thoughts about what could have been. "Anyways. I lived in the bottom of a tree, that I chose for myself, near to Sohalia and Mei and Sirius's homes, so that I was somewhat protected and safe and awaited the arrival of my children. In total I had 5 children, 3 boys and 2 girls. I adored all of them, and they had a wonderful childhood. We visited Sohalia and Mei (and Sirius) and they all had children around the same time. Slowly, they all grew and began their own lives. As of right now... Faebrena is out learning about everything she can get her hands on. Ming Yue is interacting with others, and probably her father. Breck is hibernating. And I have lost track, as sad as it is to say, of Loko and Loke. They went their own way from the very beginning, and I had no way and no reason to keep them by my side once they were old enough to survive without me."
She sighed and stopped and sat in the snow. "And so, once they didn't need me any more and had gone off on their own paths, I moved out here. I needed time to think and to be alone, and to reflect. I've had that time now, and I have given up any regrets I had over my past. I wish that things could be changed, but they can't." She took a deep breath, and smiled at Kazuko. "And that is how I came to be out here."
