Daliyah strode slowly on the path home, breathing in the forest air, fresh and clean after the rainstorm. She closed her eyes and smiled, taking it all in. With another deep breath, she opened her eyes again and stole a sideways glance at Dax, who was walking her home. The sun was starting to set, and the sky had a lovely reddish tint to it close to the horizon.
"The sunset is lovely tonight, dont't you think" she asked him, smiling slightly.

He smiled down at her “yes it is very pretty but I have seen things much prettier.” He said. He did not tell her that he was speaking of her. He looked around the forest making sure it was safe. It was safe most of the time but you could never tell sometimes.
“I am sure they must be nice in the mountains” he said trying to learn a little more about her.

"It is. The mountainous landscape is absolutely breathtaking, though I'm sure that those who live in Brynhild are probably used to it by now. In Attila it's mostly flatland, maybe some low hills... But the flowers! In Springtime, there are meadows of beautiful flowers so wide that you can't see the end of them! It's a great place to be a healer. I learned by going with my mother and watching her pick out certain flowers, and she told me that each and every plant has a purpose. I see it as my job to use them all to the best of my ability." Daliyah said, feeling slightly nostalgic. She looked around, trying to give him an example. "Ah, here we go" she said, plucking a small purple flower and showing it to Dax.
"See this little flower? It's the best cure for headaches on the isle" she said. "It' not very good in the winter, though. It stays warm, but a lot of the flowers are out of bloom. "During the wintertime I helped my father with his job as a gatherer. I sort of switched back and forth when I was a child, and it took me quite a long time to decide what I really wanted to do, which was to help others... I'm sorry, am I rambling? I really do beg your pardon" she said suddenly, blushing slightly.

(lol I feel smart got lost sorry)
As they walked Dax did not take his eyes off her he loved watching her talk about her home. He loved hearing her voice. He was sure here he was happy truly for the first time in his life. Maybe it was just because he was lonely from being away from others for so long. Maybe it was the fact that he could not really call one long real conservation with his brother he was always being told stories or talking to his brother when he really was not taking in his words but his books.
Or maybe just maybe it was this female. He even hoped it was all Daliyah. Why he hoped this he did not know but he did.
He watched her pick the flower. He took a good long look at the flower placing it in his thoughts. “I will keep that in mind. I might need it after my brother’s stories.” He laughed at him self he then smiled at Daliyah. “No you where not rambling, trust me I know it well I live with a speaker.” He said he then thought carefully about what to say next. He did not want to creep her out. “Any way I like hearing you talk. It’s nice to have someone to talk to.”

Daliyah grinned shyly. "You're very sweet, Dax" she said, glancing at him admiringly. Daliyah didn't know why, but she felt drawn to him, like she never wanted this day to end. She looked at the horizon, sighing as she watched the sun gracefully set over landscape. "It is very nice to have someone to talk to" Daliyah said. Almost subconciously, she leaned her head on his shoulder as they walked along.

Dax almost jumped when he felt her head on his shoulder. He felt his cheeks get red. He then smiled as he did his best to walk and keep her steady as well. “Are you tired” he said softly. “I ask because I know of this wonderful little place. I would like to show you.”

Daliyah picked up her head again and looked at Dax curiously.
"Really? I'd love to see..." she said, smiling. Any more time spent with him was time well spent in Daliyah's mind.

Dax smiled “follow me, keep up”
He said he smiled back at her the started to run threw the forest. He started off almost slow only going faster when he knew she could keep up with him. It could be hard to run threw the forest like this.
He looked behind him “up here” he said as he jumped up an huge old dead log. He smiled when he saw what he was looking over. It’s still the same he thought. He had come here when he needed time alone or something to look at.
In front of him he could see endless forest and a very open sky with stars just starting to show up in the darkening sky. He looked for Daliyah and said “I am sorry it’s not a clear view of the sunset.” He stated as he looked behind him the trees covered up most of the western sky. “But if you wait till the sun goes down you can see the stars wonderfully here.”

Daliyah ran after Dax, curious to see what he wanted to show her and also keeping an eye out for things that she might trip on. She was from Attila, so she was a pretty fast runner - Daliyah had no trouble keeping up with Dax. She followed him, eyeing the log warily, but gasped when she saw what he was talking about.
"It's remarkable up here!" she said, admiring the sky. It was the perfect place for stargazing. As the sun dissappeared over the horizon, the stars gleamed brighter until there were millions of them in the night sky, all shining like diamonds. Their light reflected in Dax's gentle eyes, and Daliyah looked at him adoringly.

Dax looked down in her eyes. He was at lost for words he had never seen anything as beautiful as her eyes. And he knew he never would. He found him self moving her body over a few inches to be closer to her. Even as he moved his eyes did not leave hers. “On my travels I have seen some beautiful things but I have never seen anything as beautiful as you are right now” he said with out meaning to. He jumped abit at his words then looked right up to the sky. Almost scared for the first time in his life.

Daliyah blushed deeply, and nuzzled his shoulder. She gazed up at him with adoring eyes.
"You're the most amazing guy in the world, Dax" she said, closing her eyes as she once again leaned on him. It was so romantic out here... Daliyah wanted to be with Dax forever, just sititng there in the glow of the moon, watching the stars.

Dax laid his head on top of hers. “What is it about you why do I want to stay here with you?” He asked her with a bit of a laugh. He opened his eyes just in time to see a shooting star blaze across the sky. He closed his eyes and wished. Let her feel the same.

Daliyah saw the shooting star as well, and made a wish herself.
I want to be with him forever...
"Maybe it's fate" Daliyah said, chuckling. Could it really be possible to fall in love so quickly, to be swept off your feet by someone you just met?
((I was thinking maybe they can fall asleep right there? xP They'd wake up the next day and head home then... after all, it's rather dark out already o.o then Daliyah can invite him to stay for breakfast! =D))

((ok done!))
Dax smiled softly “then I will have to send fate a thank you card then” he said as a joke. He then closed his eyes. He was happy something he have never felt like this before could it be love? Or was it just some sick game that fate was playing with him.
Dax opened his eyes after what felt like only a few minuets to find that the sun was up. It was day time. He could not believe it. The most wonderful night of his life was over. Now he hoped that the day was even half as good.

Daliyah had unknowingly dosed off as well, and was startled to find herself immersed in daylight. She sighed. Would this coming day be a good as last night was? Daliyah thought for a moment, and then she had an idea.
"Why don't we go back to hut now, and I'll make you some breakfast?" she asked, smiling sleepily up at Dax.
