So I wanted to make a random thread, and my Ipod was sitting next to me, so I thought... that will do! I have an Ipod NaNo, 4GB. It's not that big, but I don't really need a big one - I've got all my songs on it, and it's not even half full. I thought I would need a bigger one than I actually do. I'm so glad I got one - my old MP3 player got a virus on it, and it wouldn't work properly. I didn't realize how annoying it was until I got freedom in the form of my Ipod, lol.
Discuss: ~Do you have an Ipod [or something like it]? ~Do you want one? ~What do you think if the ideal size for you, and why? ~Did you ever use discmans/walkmans/MP3 players? ~What song do you listen to the most?

Ooh... yeah, 1GB is a little too small. All of my songs on my 4GB one are just under 2GB, so I've got lots of space for future songs. It sounds like a 4GB one would have been better for you, too. Any chances of an upgrade?
lol I had a CD player, discman, that did that to me, too. Skipped, I mean. It's because I dropped one too many times on the tile floors of my school. I'd put it on my desk and then forget about it, and put my chair up or down or put my books on the desk... and boom, on the floor it went. It would hit hard enough to shake the batteries out of their place. ^^'''

Right now, songs that I'm listening to the most is M.I.A, Potishead, Deftones, Fatboy Slim, and A Perfect Circle
I still have a walkman....I'll use that if my Ipod is low on battery... or I'll just stick the CD in my computer.

I have one of those ghettolicious kinda MP3 players. But I love it. 3nodding It's 2GB and'll hold about 1,000 songs. So far, I've got... like, 342 on it. Something like that. It bugs me that people spend so much money on an iPod when it can hold about as much as my $35 ghetto thing. The only difference is that you can use an iPod for movies and games, but the screen's so small... I dunno. XD Could just be me. I'm not trying to diss you iPod people. S'just my idea on it.

I have an 80gig iPod, since I had a decent christmas haul a couple years ago and could get one for myself. I had a mini with the capability of holding 1,000 songs but I filled it up way too easily and every time I deleted something from it to put something new on I would always want to hear that song immediately afterward. So now I've got plenty of room for dumping music in and I love my "Terrifying Space Monkeys" iPod.

I have a shuffle... one of the really old ones that are like two inches long. I got it about two... maybe three years ago, I forget. It only holds about 200 songs, but it's sufficient for me, and I did put a blue shiny heart sticker on the pause/play button so it's rather pretty I think. heart

I have an MP3 Player but it's way to small, only 2gig. I think 8gig would be about the right size for me. I'm asking for a new one for my birthday.

I have a 2GB iPod Nano. One of the 'old school' ones. People keep saying they'd trade me their iPod for mine. I was like, "o_O What? Yours is a newer version."
Mine holds 500 songs. I've only filled up just above half. :3 It's more than enough.
Anyway.
Lately I've been listening to alot of Modest Mouse. I <3 them.

I have a 30Gb 5th gen iPod Video. I have exactly 3001 VBR MP3s on it. That leaves about 300Mb to keep Firefox Portable on it, for when I am on the go.
I am stuck in a Coheed and Cambria rut right now. I love Claudio's voice. But I wish he'd wear his snakebites less. I cant concentrate on the music when there is shiny metal in his lip.

For me, one of the reasons I updated to an Ipod was because it's a pretty reliable name. I mean, if something went wrong with it and you needed to return it to Apple, you would most likely have an easier time than you would otherwise. Like, for example, my best friend got an american rip-off version of an Ipod [zone? zane?]. Yes, it holds like 30GB, but she's got maybe like 1GB filled. She's never going to use the extra space, and we live in Canada, so if it breaks she's going to have a rough time returning it. Plus, I had an MP3 player, and it got a virus on it, so I'm a little mistrustful of them now.
@Vampyre - oh wow, that's so cool! I could have used something like that. I had to get a protective strap for my Ipod so that I could wear it on my wrist. The Ipod sits in a litttle protective case, cause I'm a freak about scratches. xD I hope you get one soon, and let us know how it works!
