So. . .what are your opinions on Gaia Cash? I keep succombing to the temptation to get more when my old stash runs out and it keeps making me feel guilty because I KNOW there is better stuff that I could be spending my money on. . .it's become one of my guilty pleasures. >.<

I remember being in Target one day holding the card wondering if I should get it. I ended up putting it down. I'm always about supporting Gaia, I used to donate all the time when they first started. But now it's kind of weird, I feel like I'm actually buying items rather than "donating" and that's feels kind of wasteful. Doesn't stop me from still buying cash items 3nodding

We just bought this place last year and every extra dime goes into fixing stuff. I had to order parts for the jeep so its street legal again (50.00 worth) and that was unexpected. Plus we are going to have to build a puppy area for our doggie to have her puppies in a safe and warm place! So there's really no extra funds to play with!

When I was able to put it on my phone bill it was no biggie for me
Now that I have to buy the cards I tend not to run out and buy them as much

Lol. . .I agree! And those $10 and $15 seem to be happening more and more. . .you can track the history of how much money you've spent on Gaia and I checked it out and I'm pretty those ten or fifteen dollars happened like two or three times in the past couple of weeks. . .o.O

I have so far been able to resist the temptation sort of... i did get some gaia cash my first week online and it has only been two months since I got on gaia but the temptation to get some cash so i can get some of the evolving items is seriously overpowering especially since I just got some money from my birthday and it is burning a hole in my pocket.

I like it but hate it at the same time. I feel like I'm cheating or something, because I usualy use the cash to buy shop items instead of spending gold. That way I can save all my gold for quests. quests will get done faster, but I'm spending way too much on gaia. I've never 'donated' so much to them before!

Acctally I'm kind of happy that my husband is addicted to Maplestory.... Wait.....
I retract that statement
I was going to say that I was happy that he isn't on Gaia much anymore since he used to spend money on the monthly collectibles. I think it's a waste for us because I wouldn't want to spend real money on frivolous things when he has some credit card debt.
But the issue now is that he is on Maple story and spending money on "2x Drop cards" , "2x EXP cards", and custom stuff.
THis is the exact reason I made him quit Final Fantasy Online. Atleast he's not spending $10 a month on it. THat I know of.....I just might check the bank statements

I'm quite the newbie and I decided to buy Cash so I wouldn't look so new. Hence the cute lil outfit my avie is wearing. But I'm afraid I'll get addicted... crying

Although I definitely think there is a line that I would not cross. . .o.O. On March 1st I was exploring around the marketplace and someone had a lot of 100 03/08 Sealeds for sale! That's $250. . .o.O And who would buy a lot of 100 sealeds anyhow? Pure and utter insanity. . .
