Alright. Just wanted to say - I used to be one of the people all for the movie. I really believed they could make it work, I had faith in it and that they could handle it with dignity and grace.

After seeing the official cast pictures and hearing rumors over the music for this film I now doubt if I will even see it at the cinemas.

First, Gaspard Ulliel is my Edward, I love him dearly, his face is godly perfection. They cast Robert Pattinson, I accepted him. He played a jocky Cedric Diggory but that wasn't his fault, we can all blame Kloves for that. Stupid Kloves needs to die!

But today I saw the official picture of the cast in wardrobe and hair and makeup. Rosalie looks plump in the first picture and she looks older than Esme. Jasper looks stupid, Emmet like an evil p***k with a mutated head. I hate Carlisle's hair. In fact I hate all of their hair. The costuming is FOUL!! They have gone about this so sloppily, it looks tacky. They look like rich, idiot no brains from Beverly Hills. I also hate the fact that they are all wearing blue, white, black and different shades of grey. neutral


Now to music rumors I just heard. This modern piss band Muse will be blasting out over scenes that I would otherwise love but now will not be able to stand. Really bad move there, bad move. Twilight is bordering on cheesy and goofy as it is (I am a fan, don't hate me for that comment) but how are people supposed to take it seriously when modern songs are drowning out everything.

I looked up Alexandra Patsavas, the music supervisor,I am willing to bet that they could not have gotten a worse person to supervise music if they tried. His resume includes Supernatural, Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice, Gossip Girl (Privileged teenagers attend an elite private school in New York City) The OC, John Tucker Must Die ETC. I know some people really like these shows, but I can't stand them (oh, and a movie in there too) I am guessing that there will be no original score composed for this film at all, and I hate that. I cannot stand films with no scores, just pop songs, to me they aren't even complete films.

That's my rant. No need to respond, I just needed to get it off my chest. This movie is going to be a big pile of vomit.

I beleive in freedom of speech and speaking your mind and all, but there's a difference between ranting and insulting...
Another thing... those pictures are test pictures... the costumes they're wearing probably won't even show up in the film.... not that I see anything wrong with them..

Also...Just to defend my favorite band, I think the movie would be incomplete without Muse's music. Steph continues to note how much their music inspires her in the first place, so its only right...

I'm really sorry to most of the people who responded, I can see I offended a lot of people, it wasn't my intention. But what can I say, I did warn you that it was IMMATURE. If it warns against immaturity, you will get immaturity.

@ Reels, why didn't I post this in my journal, because this is a Twilight guild. A place to discuss Twilight in all media it comes in. I simply felt it would be most appropriate to post it here.

And well, @ BunnyCupCakes (cute name) it may be difficult to understand, but music and an original score is a very decisive factor to whether or not I enjoy a movie. I live for film scores, they are a truly beautiful thing and so special to me.

KiraLight, I hope you enjoy watching it. I also hope that the pictures were done in a rush, but that does seem really unprofessional of them if they were.

Sorry to snap at you.

I went. I saw it. And I hated it. It was awful. The Cullens looked ridiculous in the movie, not just the pictures. The acting was horrible. Edward was ugly as hell. The music annoyed me. Muse is fine, but... it was just in the wrong place.
And then the replies here annoyed me. Everyone got all pissy and rude because you said you thought it'd suck... -sigh-
And the movie also got a bunch of tween girls in love with Eward... I have a hard time convincing my friends and people I meet that it's actually a good series, because of all the little girls screaming over Edward, and then getting grossed out at the thought of him drinking blood. UGH. I hate Hollywood.
