Hey guys and gals. I'm interested in knowing the thoughts and history of your Gaian names. Where'd you get them from? What makes them special to you? How did you come up with it and such?
My Gaian name is HotLaMon38.
HotLaMon is the name of the Monkey King in Cambodian. You know him better as Goku of Dragonball/Z/GT.
In Chinese he is called Sun Wu Khong (sp?)
In Vietnamese he is known as Tong Ngo Khong
In India he is called Hanumon
In Japanese he is called Son Goku.
In English he is known as Goku or Kakarot XD.
But in all the stories of "Goku" he always has a staff that can change in size and a cloud. In the eastern stories (Vietnam, Cambodia, China, Japan) he is forced to wear a gold circlet around his head by a priest or monk. Whenever "Goku" commits a sin the circlet tightens and forces him to cease his actions. In nature "Goku" is like the Greek god Loki. A trouble-maker if you will. In the Dragonball series he is a saiyan that is sent to earth. Upon his first arrival he is a trouble-maker and give his "grandfather, Gohan" nothing but trouble. Until he falls and bumps his head and becomes a more gentle person.
As for the number 38...
My birthday is 8.14.1988
The 8th month and the year 88. Thus my b-day has Three 8's. (3-8's) get it? 38 XD ^^ But sometimes I use 14 XD If you google my screen name "HotLaMon" or "HotLaMon14" or "HotLaMon38" all the search results you get are me. Seriously... Every single one. XD You might even find some of my art work at the Tokyo Pop site.

well my best mates nickname was called xerak on a game called quake 3 and we had been mages since very lil and after i moved to australia 2 years back he died in a car crash so i put my name in the memory of him ='(

"kyoran" was a name my sis gave me when I was 7 long huh? it was used when me and my sisters had a "story". it was fun. I liked the name and it just stuck...

I chose my name Oni Konpaku because it means "Soul Demon" and Konpaku
sounds like a very strong name. I made this name up because I wanted
something that no one new like my old name was Hitokiri Batousai which is
not very original and already has a title but I wish to make my own title int
the MMO and that is why I made this name!

hehhe but oh well,
anyways my name....hmmm my real name is ebony, so i wanted to use my real name.
Added the pure bit because people always say im innocent,niave and a shortie >.>
hmm also, my parents named me ebony because of a friends recommendation, and well my dad liked the idea of black ball 8, which is the highest ball in snooker or somehting xd
so theres my names origin for ya

Frankachu was a nickname that a friend from highschool came up for me. I was a big Pokemon fan at the time, and one day he called me Frankachu. At first, I didn't like the name but everyone else caught on and I gave up and stuck with it. ninja

2 of my favorite video game characters, but not my most favorite video game character (thats Sonic the Hedgehog). Dante from Devil May Cry and also the person that wrote about the 7 deadly sins, and Vega from Street Fighter (Balrog in the Japanese version).

Hebi is Japanese for snake, and Akuma is Japanese for demon/devil/Satan, and it is also the name of my favorite fighter from Street Fighter.

I chose my name because it combines two things that are used in names a lot here and if you look them up together here, all you get is me. Also it's cool.
