"For the love of Hiraikotsu, stop it!" The poor demon slayer nearly cried, dragging her sister away from another garden for the countless time. Sure, that was something she had to do every day, but this time was different...
It was wrong.
Instead of stopping to kill them, she'd hesitate only to admire, and more often than not comment to her sister about how 'lovely' they were, which made her sibling shudder each and every time.
Noyama had wanted to bring her herself, but for some reason had insisted Sango do so, claiming she had 'things to do', only not worded so well. Hoping she'd followed the directions exactly and stumbled upon the right house, she knocked on the door, twitching as Kilah squealed in delight behind her.
"Look, Sango, a bird! It's so cute!"
Whatever higher power there was, make it stop...

It wasn't long before the door opened and Moo, wearing another of her flowing gowns, bustled out. Pausing, she peered curiously at the pair, then broke into a wide smile, flicking a hand towards the door. "You'll be here to visit one of the children? My, my, so many friends they have... A pity I can't remember their names. Oh, who are you visiting?"

If all had been right with Kilah, she would've suspected immediatly something wasn't quite right with Moo. It had been a while since she'd seen her, and had even thought for a while she was dead. Was she always this weird?
Normally, the Sin'aeis would've wondered. Today, she just assumed this was natural behavior for the stranger who seemed nice enough. Smiling brightly, she offered happily, "Ja-"
The name was never finished, her siblings hand shooting out over her mouth. "Lyrus," Sango corrected. "She's here to see Lyrus. Can she come in or he come out or...something, would you mind? I shouldn't stay too long myself."

The household had long since grown used to Moo's odd behavior. This was just a new challenge to overcome, and, with the occasional help from Isto and Jack, as well as the rare threat or two, they were managing. Moo smiled brightly down at kilah, merely blinking once when Sango cut her off, and finally turned back into the house, gesturing for them to follow. "Lyrus... He's the gray one with the horn, right? Yes, yes, he stays on that..hmm.. That end room on the second floor, right? I'm sure he would be happy for the company. Follow me, please."
Humming cheerfully to herself, Moo swept off for the grand staircase at the end of the hall, leading the way up and down a couple more halls, finally pausing infront of a door and peeking in without bothering to knock. "Boy with horn? Someone came to visit you~."
Sighing, Lyrus left his 'work table' and turned to the door, pulling it open the rest of the way. "I told you, my name's Ly--Kilah! Hi!" The boy brightened up considerably at the sight of his friend, a grin flashing across his face. "What're you doing here?"

Horn...?
Like a devil... Kilah thought bitterly, then mentally scolded herself. She shouldn't think such mean thoughts! Even if they were about mean people. When the Sin'aeis himself was in her sights, she was clearly a bit...taken a back. He was so young!
She'd been told he was 'younger' than her, but... "Could you excuse us?" She requested to Moo politely, another smile forming to go with it. What a nice lady! A bit odd, but nice...

"Certainly," Moo replied immediately, turning and sweeping off down the hall. "You two have fun."
Kilah looked...shocked? Surprised? Almost as if this was the first time she had seen him... WAIT. "Can you see?" Lyrus immediately asked, taking a step forward and reaching up to grab the front of her shirt, half dragging her down to his eye level. The Kilah he knew wouldn't have minded...much. Especially if this were the case. "Can you see me now, Kilah?"

The girl paled a bit. Maybe she should've had that woman stay...?
No! This was ridiculous! Devil or not, he was still just a kid! Er...a little kid (because she was a kid kid). "Yes, I can see you, Lyrus, is it?" The way she said his name was just so formal, as if they were discussing some important issue, not having a conversation between friends.
Kilah didn't believe they were friends, or had been friends. She could never be friends with someone so mean. Sure, he acted nice now, but she'd heard things... Too many things.
Carefully pulling back from him, she frowned slightly and glanced around for any sign of someone 'very pink'. There was no one like that from what she could see. Dissapointing. "You do know me, then?"

"When did you get your sight back!?" he exclaimed, releasing her and taking a step back, positively beaming. It was only then that the rest of her words clicked, and his smile faltered somewhat. He nodded. "Yeah, Lyrus... Of course I know you. You're my best friend, you and Mignon..." Trailing off, he added, "I got my inbetween quest..?"
It was worth a try. Kilah acted like she had forgotten him. Had she forgotten him? He...he wasn't that much younger! And he wasn't broken like he had thought--he had had a quest and finished it, too! But...but she was already forgetting they were friends, and just because he was too little. What if Mignon forgot too!? But...but then he wouldn't have any friends! What was he going to do!?
Barely above a whisper, as if afraid of the response, Lyrus asked, "You..know me too, right? You remember me..?"

Kilah never answered his question. She hardly had time to before his mood had suddenly shifted. One part of her mind, the part currently being manipulated by her star-born sister seeking reveng for almost being 'sent down the river' three plus times, screamed that it was an act, a devils trick. What an evil little child!
Maybe it was because he was a little child, or maybe, the part of her mind that almost remembered was reacting as well. In the right state of mind, Mignon and Lyrus were the only two she never wanted to see really upset.
Sighing heavily, she kneeled down to his level, reaching out and placing her hands on his shoulder in a comforting gesture. "Don't...worry, it's alright! I can't remember anyone. I couldn't remember Mignon, either, please don't feel bad."

With the gesture, Lyrus brightened somewhat, but only a bit. So, she had forgotten him... But she had forgotten Mignon too, so it meant she wasn't just forgetting he existed. She probably wouldn't have come to visit if that were the case, too. Had she forgotten anyone else? Or everyone else, even? Kilah was certainly acting strange...
"So, what happened to you?" he questioned, turning his eyes back up to her. "Why can't you remember? And what're you doing here if you didn't remember who I was?"

"We don't know what happened..." No one would, except Lucky, who just-so-happened to be the only member of the twisted family not present when Kilah had horriblely messed up that spell and ended up this way.
It was probably for the best. Twila might manipulate her, but Lucky might kill her for disobeying for the second time (being Sango was still worse than having no memory, so there).
"Oh!" Stop, Kilah, just stop. She should've, and would've, had she known the situation to the fullest. "Actually, I was suppose to see Jax here. He's my 'boyfriend' or something. Are you two brothers?"

"Right..." Lyrus was still skeptical, but didn't bother. This Kilah was strange. Maybe she had just lost her memory like Moo had? That would be his luck. He began to reply, but suddenly tensed, mouth snapping shut as he stared in horror up at Kilah. Her...WHAT!?
"Traitor!" Lyrus snarled, stepping back away from her into his room and pointing an accusing finger at the older Sin. "You haven't really forgotten, you're just his friend now and not mine! He prolly made you forget me and Mignon! Him and that damned cat... Go away and leave me alone!" And he slammed the door shut.
Absolutely fuming, Lyrus turned his back to the door and took a pace into the room, paused. Without thinking, he snatched once of the glass vases from his shelves and tossed it at the wall; the glass shattered. The sound of breaking glass was enough to startle Lyrus from his anger, and after a moment he silently walked over to the pile of pieces and sat on the floor beside him, carefully beginning to piece them together into some new creation. Glass should never go to waste, and certainly not over an ex-best friend.

"But, I..." Barely above a whimper, and otherwise Kilah had nothing to say. Tears filled her eyes, but not enough to fall. Just as they were about to, she suddenly seemed horrified, closing her eyes tightly and grinding her teeth together.
In a much, MUCH more voice familiar to Kilah, the Sin'aeis seemed to growl to no one, "Go away..."
"No!" A sweeter tone from the same being snapped back.
"Give me my head back, you whore."
"I don't want to! You're mean!"

Lyrus heard voices outside, but simply tuned them out. his door was thick enough that they weren't understandable anyway. It was probably just Kilah talking to Jaxom. That bloody...damn, Lyrus wished he knew more curses. Instead, he focused his attention on the new glass structure he was building, hardly noticing as Task and Vin joined him on the floor.
It was a pity he couldn't just build the vase back... Banda had spent a lot on it, and probably wouldn't be happy that Lyrus had broken it. If Banda ever came home. A lump formed in Lyrus' throat, but he choked it back, carefully placing another piece of glass. Lyrus didn't cry. He just didn't. And he wasn't about to start now.

"You're hurting them, stop it!"
"I'm the nice one here, you meanie, don't even accuse me of things! I'm scaring off the other mean ones!"
"Mignon?"
"...The mean and crazy ones."
Following that at first was merely a growl, and an aggravated one. Whatever fight Kilah was having, and whoever it was with, she wasn't winning. If there was anymore, it was argued in silence, with the exception of two more things.
"It'll leave if I go."
"I don't care."
Another moment of silence, and then suddenly Kilah made a very, very confused face. Her eyes stared blankly ahead of her, hand reaching out for someone who wasn't there, touching the floor instead. "Gizmo...?"
Wait...this wasn't her floor! What the hell?!
Let's see, she'd been casting a spell, and now...she was here? But where was here? "Ah, s**t, you've gotta be kidding! I TELEPORTED myself somewhere?"
