She bore no spots, no special mark accept the white heart token placed neatly between her golden eyes. Her crimson pelt was pristine, her white feet slightly golden from the dust. So in her simple-ness, Hera was actually quite unique.

The leopardess slipped across the land, nervously, afraid of being spotted by a lion or some other creature that might want to eat her for dinner. However, so far so good. She was alone as far as she could tell. In fact things were looking up. Ahead of her, probably a brisk five minutes walk away, were a gathering of scraggly trees.

Yes, she intended to head there for a bit of a rest. She never could relax on the ground! It was one thing she missed dearly about the jungle and she wondered briefly why the rest of her family had decided to venture here. She had been a little curious, but now that she had seen in in all it's bland glory, Hera decided she hadn't really missed much.

The only good thing about being here was meeting up with Mezi again. It had been good to see an old face, good to reminise on what had already been and gone.

She would have headed back after that meeting, but Mezi's curiosity in his own family had sparked her own interest. So here she was, embarking on a quest to meet up with her siblings, mother and maybe if she was lucky, her mysterious father.
