As Mahavir slowly made his way through a thick patch of low-hanging leaves, he craned to neck to try and see through the lush leaves. Up over the tree tops, the sun shone down bright, yellow light. Mahavir sighed while remembering what the sky looked like when he first found this doomed path. The sun had just peeked its way over the horizon and the stars were beginning to hide themselves.
"I'm lost!"
Earlier that morning while Mahavir had been searching for some breakfast, he came across a strange path. It was made of stone and parcially hidden between two large trees. Mahavir was curious as to where this cobblestone path led to, so he gladly followed it. But soon the stones became scattered and the path was lost. Now he was searching hopelessly for the way which he had came. But all Mahavir could see were trees, trees, and more trees.

Shiori was wandering a bit further from where she usually walked around. Verloren (her mate) was sound asleep back at the teepee, so she decided to take a walk. She strayed away from the plains and from the beach off into the more dense forests to search for something exotic to eat.
It was pretty warm for a near spring day and the wind wasn't there to fan her face as she always was accustomed to it being. The lack of breezes made her feel slightly claustrophobic, as she never really liked being in a forest of dense trees.
Shiori kept on walking, insisting on finding something to bring back home. That was when she saw it. Another Soquili frantically walking around not far from her. She quickly dropped down onto the ground and tucked her legs in, watching the stranger. He had very long hair, and a beautiful coat that seemed well looked after. He seemed to be frustrated by something.

As Mahavir continued to twist and turn himself around amongst the trees, he heard a sudden noise. Turning around, he saw a small patch of leaves give a shake. But he thought nothing of this; there were so many small animals and birds living in the trees that Mahavir was sure it was just some off-balance squirrel who had fallen out of his tree.
Turning back, Mahavir decided to search for the clearest area and push through it until he was out of the forest. Too bad for Mahavir though, since most of the forest was the same denseness. Puffing up his chest, Mahavir charged foward; but the poor stallion just got himself and his hair tangled up in some branches.

Shiori couldn't help but giggle at the comical stallion. It was like watching a cartoon in the way he acted. She decided to follow him to see what he was up to; because whatever it was, it could be full of fun!!
The stallion charged forward, but got tangled in some branches. "Oh my goodness!!" Shiori screeched as she watched him squirm around.
"I'm coming to help!" she said, darting out of her hiding place and sprinting towards him. She was almost there, only about 5 meters away when she tripped over a protruding branch growing out of the ground and went flying into the air. She landed right on top of the stranger, ripping him out of the branches he had got himself stuck into and pinning him on the floor.

As Mahavir was struggling to free himself from the tangle of branches, his ears caught sound of a little giggling. But Mahavir was too deep in his struggle to detect how close the sound was. Seconds later, he heard another sound; this time it was words. Mahavir began to turn towards the sound, but all he saw was a flash of yellow before being mowed over.
"AAAHHH!" Mahavir yelped as the yellow flash landed on top of him. As he lay dazed on the ground, Mahavir noticed that those wretched branches that had been holding him captive were broken. But there was little to celebrate since he had a new captor.
After noticing the yellow flash was a mare, Mahavir's attitude lightned. "Oh! Are you ok?" He questioned, concerned.

"Hmm, I guess so..." Shiori said, getting to her feet and shaking off the branches and leaves on her body. She trotted on the spot a little, checking to see if she had twisted anything, but she was fine. After seeing the stallion on the ground she began to apologise,
"Oh my goodness! I've fallen on you! I'm so so sorry are you ok?" she worriedly asked, circling him as he got up to see if he was hurt in any way at all. When she detected nothing serious, she backed up a little and gave a sigh of relief.

Mahavir watched the mare as she did a little dance nearby to make sure nothing was broken. He then started to crack up with laughter and had no idea why. Maybe it was a mix of this dance along with the fact that she had just pumbled him. But he wasn't mad about that; in fact, it actually brightened his mood.
"Oh yeah, I'm fine. Luckily the ground broke my fall!" Mahavir joked while he stood up and shook the leaves from his hair. "But I have to ask, where'd you come from?" Mahavir remembered the little noise he heard earlier, and assumed that it must have been her.
"I'm Mahavir by the way."

Shiori couldn't help but giggle at his joke. She laughed like a childish infant. Today was certainly one of her hyper days!
She approached him and nuzzled his cheek. "I'm Shiori." she said, smiling, happy with herself. "I live over by the sea, but today I decided to check it out around here in the forest. I don't really like it here, but its the shortest path that leads to my mate, and I have great sense of direction so I won't get lost."
She lowered herself to the ground and sat, tucking her legs underneath her. "Lets talk!" she asked. "Which reminds me, what are you doing here? Not many soquili come here because its so easy to get lost in."

As the mare laughed, Mahavir felt something coming up from his stomach until he was laughing so hard it actually hard! Anyone who walked upon them now would probably think they were two nuts.
As the mare nuzzled his cheek, Mahavir couldn't help but think of a mother or a sister. Not that he remembered his mother or even had a sister, but the mare had a very comforting energy that was able to brighten Mahavir's mood. "Nice to meet you Shiori! I'm Mahavir." He replied. "The sea? Wow! It must be awesome living by the water."
Mahavir waited until Shiori sat and then plopped down next to her. "I'm actually just traveling through, which explains my poor choice of trying to navigate through a thick forest." Mahavir explained. "I travel a lot."

"Yes, the sea is lovely! You can always smell the salt water and running on the sand is very nice as well." She explained to him, resting her head on the ground. She chuckled at what he said next. The giggling turned into fierce laughter.
"Well, aren't horses who travel a lot meant to have a great sense of direction?" she couldn't stop laughing. "Why don't you come with me to my home, then I can show you the way to wherever you want to go?" she offered.
