Whimpering while trying to go as quickly as he can, Rith looked about frantically while limping through the forest. He had been on the run for nearly all day and it was wearing him down greatly. But he couldn't stop, as every second that went by mattered. And with each passing moment, it meant that he may return to a horrendous sight. The normally calm male was more or less panicking now, but he had good reason.

Despite his will to continue his search, his body just wasn't really able to take much more. It didn't help that he was hungry and thirsty at the moment as well. So before he could progress much more, the dark teen collapsed with a whine. Weakly, he tried to push himself back to his feet, but it was just too much right now. So he lightly curled up, staring at a cut that ran along the side of his leg.

"I'm sorry..." he whimpered to no one in particular, while fighting back tears that began to well up in his eyes.

((What time of day is it? ))

Kurohizashi was practicing his teleportation once again, and he found that lately he was getting the hang of it. It had been a good day, and he hadn’t lost any flesh this time, for he had a bad habit of sometimes leaving bits of himself behind when he teleported. Zoro looked about with pride and closed his eyes, suddenly disappearing and reappearing once more, but this time something was different. He appeared right next to a young adolescent dragonfly, and the boy seemed to be injured. Leaning down he sniffed the child to make sure he was still alive. After a few moments, concluding that the teen was still breathing, Zoro lay down upon his stomach and whispered softly to him, “Do you need help?” Zoro was unsure of what else to do, and it was rather obvious that the boy needed help, but Zoro simply didn't know what else he could say.

((Sunset.))

Suddenly, Rith got the feeling that someone else was nearby. Glancing up slowly, he saw that it was an elder. Though, having not seen an elder before, the sight of something so much bigger than him looming right by startled him somewhat. Then shaking his head to snap out of the stunned state, he looked towards the ground and whimpered once again.

"My parents.. they're going to die... P-please help me..."

As he spoke, the young dragonfly shuddered as the tears he fought to hold back began to flow rather freely from his eyes. At the moment, he felt rather helpless, but he hoped greatly that the elder here would be able to help him somehow.

Kurohizashi smiled and nuzzled the teen gently, wiping the tears from his eyes with his tail, "Peace young one, calm your soul. I will do my best to help you out of any predicament that you are in. " Laying down completely, Zoro decided that action must take place immediately. "Onto my back child, and tell me where they are, you are in no condition to travel on your own feet." Smilling he prompted the boy onto his back flatting himself as much as possible to the ground.

"Th-thank you..."

Whimpering softly, Rith weakly pulled himself onto the elder's backside while looking around. Between rushing around for help, and his exhaustion, he was a bit confused as to where he was exactly. But he had a general idea of where they needed to go.

"They're in the east..."

Zoro looked up at the sky and saw ti dimming, and he had mixed feeling of rejoice and annoyance. At dawn and dusk, both of his eternal entities were awake at once, and now he had to either put up with their bickering or find a way to get them to help him. Sora... Lune? Both of you awake? I am still awake but Lune seems to be having difficulties... I am NOT having difficulties... Oh, wait, never mind, that is just your usual slow mindedness... Excuse me? I am just as sharp as you are... Really now?! Well I bet... HUSH! BOTH of you! This teen's parents are in trouble, either point me in the right direction or get lost!... Alright, alright! Well, the sun is setting a bit behind you, so go the opposite direction... Thank you... Zoro emerged from his inner conversation, which only lasted for a moment.

"You are welcome, I have found the direction... now hold on little one, I am going to run full speed, and you will need to hang on and steer me if needed... sound good?" Zoro shook himself out slightly, and readied himself for the boys 'okay' so that he could start running as soon as possible.

Nodding weakly, Rith bit down onto the elder's mane while more or less hugging his neck with his paws. After he was certain he had a good enough hold onto the larger dragonfly, he took in a deep breath.

"Alright..." he said quietly, hoping he would be able to hang on. Along with that, he hoped that he would be able to guide the elder to where they needed to go. So for now he just braced himself and kept faith that everything will be alright. Though, doing the latter was a bit more difficult to do, considering how unsuccessful he had been until now in finding help. There was even the possibility that he was already too late, though he hoped dearly that this wasn't the case.

"I'll try and let you know... when you need to turn..."

Zoro burst forward in a liquid motion, speed bursting from his paws, yet he did not jostle or bump his passenger in any way. His paws seemed to soar over the ground in a well practiced motion, his haunches barely moving up and down. After reaching a steady speed, Zoro began to pick up faint traces of Rith's scent and followed them, assuming that they were a path to where the injured dragonfly's were. Whispering above the sound of the wind whistling by them, his voice sounded loudly, "I think I got your scent... but if I take a wrong turn steer me back!"

"A-alright...!" Rith managed to say while he hung unto the elder's back to the best of his ability. While they rushed on through the forest, he glanced about to make sure he was familiar with his surroundings. But it was a bit difficult as his mind started to get a little more and more hazy as dehydration became more apparent to him.

"Urg..."

Slowly, he started to lose his grip as he began to black out.

Zoro was running smoothly, dodging the trees with utmost precision. The tress flashed by and the scent of the little dragonfly made a perfect trail through the trees. He almost had it mind to begin traveling faster when he heard a sound coming from the teem, and then felt his little paws begin to slacken their hold. Afraid of stopping completely all of the sudden, he did the best to stop smoothly but as quickly as possible. He was ready to maneuver and catch the boy if he fell too early, but Zoro would have preferred if the little one hung on until he was able to stop running.

With what was left of his consciousness at the time, Rith did his best to hold onto the elder's back, but for now it was proving to be too much for him. Little by little, he slipped further down before he finally dropped away from the older dragonfly's backside, heading straight towards the forest floor. Most likely, he would end up being injured fairly badly in the case he hit the ground while in motion like that.

And all the while, he was unconscious.

Zoro finally felt the teens paws slip off his back, but he was ready. In the blink of an eye he disappeared from where he was running and appeared belly up right underneath the teen. He reached up trying to catch the teen lightly and hoped to pull him into his fur to diminish the impact. Zoro did his best to keep himself from injuring the teen any more than the ground would. The elder fought hard to keep the space, the actual air around him, from pulling him back, for it obviously disliked being strained so much by such a fast moving teleportation.

Rith landed onto the belly of the elder a bit awkwardly, but safely. And while he didn't move, the young dragonfly was breathing rather steadily, though somewhat raspily. Basically, he needed water as his body wasn't functioning too well with the lack of it.

"Nnn... he groaned lowly as he stirred and twitched lightly. After the small movement, he went back to being quite motionless save for the rise and fall of his chest as he breathed.

Zoro sighed a breath of relief as the teen landed on him safely, but suddenly became very worried. Zoro felt the boy's energy leave him, and noticed how much weak he looked. Flipping over, the elder cradled Rith in the nook of one of his forelegs and began to hobble forward through the trees on three legs. Off to the side he heard the sound of rushing water and began to think. Did he dare veer off his path to go and try to revive the teen at the creek and possibly loose the trail? Looking back down at the teen he made up his mind immediately. Zoro turned to the left and began to hobbled away from the path and towards the sound of the water.

What are you doing?! Get back on the path, the boys parents are in perilous danger! Listen to what the boy was telling you... Shut it Sora, you buffoon! Saving the parents but letting this child die is not what I plan on doing! The eternal entity fled at the sound of Zoro's mental voice, never having heard his master so angry. Zoro continued with a grim satisfaction of putting the sun's ego in its place. Looking down at the teen the elder became worried once more, but luckily the trees began to thin and the sound of rushing water got louder. Suddenly he broke through the surrounding trees and came upon the small creek. Placing the teen gently in a large tuft of soft grass, Zoro walked to the waters edge and dipped his tail into the cold water. He smeared some of the water onto the boy's forehead, neck, and stomach in hopes of reviving him. He then scooped up some water with his paw and did his best to pour it onto the teen's muzzle hoping some of it would make it inside.
