ok I found out I didnt have a cd by linkin park called "under attack" I shtere anyone else that didnt know about this cd? And 2nd how did Linkin Park get there band name? And yes I have been a fan ever since they started this makes me feel so dumb sweatdrop

Hmm. I dont beleive I've ever really looked into anything LP called "Under Attack". And there's about three different theories on how Linkin Park got their name. The part of the story we do know is that it was named after a Lincoln Park that Chaz liked as a kid. The spelling is like... a mystery.

They were just looking for an original way to spell it
Someone else misspelled it and they liked it like that
The owner of a Lincoln Park tried to sue them
Some personal meaning to the band members.
I think LP dosent tell us because they want it to be kept a secret... like one of their only secrets.

I heard that it had something to do with Lincoln Park, but they wanted a name that could explain the songs...a unique name...and that's what came out.

They originally spelled it as Lincoln Park, but when they tried to register it for a website, lincolnpark.com was already taken and they might have had to go through law suits and stuff, so they deliberately mispelled it as Linkin Park. Oh, and Chester would always pass by Lincoln Park on his way home, so he wanted the band to be named after it.
