Ok, I just got reported on jigsaw. Basically, what happened was this guy came into there, and asked if anyone wanted to know a way to do the puzzle really fast. I said no, and he asked why, and I said it was probably a way not allowed, and besides I don't want to cheat. And he specifically said, "Its not cheating, its just a glitch." So I came back and said "Same thing." I started explaining how also (not using rules as an example) that if you're doing this easy way, that its not fair to the people who are actually working for their gold. Then he said "I just reported you!" and left. Can I get in trouble for this? What the heck did I do? He's the one who told me to shut the hell up, literally, but with many misspellings (which, I don't know how is achieved in that short a phrase >.<). I'm not really worried, because I don't think I had any fault in it, but I just want to be reassured. Just in case, should I transfer my items to my mule?

I guess he may have been a hacker/scammer.

Then you could report him, telling them what he said and saying that he said he was going to report you.
Them send him a PM saying you reported him. >_<
If he is going to be an a*****e like that, then treat him like one.

You won't get in trouble for it. Actually, you did the right thing. Exploitation of glitches is illegal on Gaia, and so is telling other people how to exploit them. In reporting you, that guy just got himself in trouble ["Um, yeah, I offered to help this girl cheat at Jigsaw... and she said no..."]. I can see the "WTF" expressions from the mods now.
In terms of reporting him, I would probably just let it go. I believe you would have needed to take a screenshot for proof for anything to happen. If you didn't, it's kind of a your word against his depending on how he worded his reporting.
Then there's also the chance it's a false threat. Some people like to make themselves seem important by claiming they reported you when they didn't. In any case, by abusing the report system, he's already gotten in trouble. If you are going to report him, make sure to include his user number, not the username. If people change their usernames, they're impossible to track - but you can't change your user number.

@Vampyre - I'd like to be a Gaia moderator someday, and I've read the TOS a few times, so that's probably why. ^^ You gave some good advice, though. The user number thing is important, though. It's the one way you can track someone no matter what they change their name to, or how many times they do it, just as an fyi.
@Syrinx - You're welcome. I had someone report me once. I was in a thread posting riddles instead of just saying the word 'bump' repeatedly, and this person reported me for being a bot... without even asking me any questions or PMing me or anything. It was very WTF. Needless to say, I never heard anything about it, which leads me to expect that either she didn't report me, it was let go, or she got in trouble.

I agree, you need to report the person who started the whole thing. And really I don't think you will get in trouble. Just take a few deep breaths and you will be alright.
