Person? Hmm... MY BFF MEGHAN
I say that my friend, Meghan K., is a hero, for many things. One, is that she's very level headed-- she doesn't march blindly into the fray, that's what I would do, but, she stops, and thinks about the possibilities. Now, if it would have to do with her boyfriend Ben, she cowers, and has one of us to do it instead. Another reason, is that she's supportive. If you're working on something with her, a project, or just simply running in a race, she'll be right there, cheering you on, and not letting you get a break until you're done, even if you need to go to the bathroom. That part sucks, but still... Another reason, is that, well, she's strong. I mean, if I heard that I was moving to Conneticut over the summer, and probably not seeing my friends for a very very long time, I would of, well, gone depressed, and absolutely hate my parents. But, she's so cool about it. She knows she's moving, and she accepts it, even though she probably hates it, and wishes she could move in with one of us. She let everyone know (Except Ben, but she's STILL to scared to tell him, Rofl), and she's just calm about it; something I could never be. Oh, and another reason: SHE'S AWESOME RHKLELSKDNFSKDLYH xD
Lol

She’s Somebody’s Hero
My mom is, and always will be, my hero. She is strong minded, determined, and beautiful in many ways. She has had to overcome many obstacles over the past years, ranging from a sick, two-year-old me, to my sick, sixteen- year-old sister. I am very proud to have a mother like her. Though I say otherwise sometimes, I will always love her. First off, my moms name is Cynthia and she will be forty-five this coming September. You wouldn’t be able to tell, because the strength of laughter has kept her young. She has the will to smile, even when she is sad. She does this so that people don’t worry about her. Mom doesn’t like people worrying about her. It’s unnecessary in her eyes. In her mind, other people will always come first, especially her children. Secondly, my mom is very determined. She has had to quit many jobs due to me being sick when I was younger. She also gained weight because she was worrying about me so much. But, she lost that weight and got another job to support my brother, my sister, and me. My brother is out of the house now, but my sister and I are not. My sister is now sick, and Mom is working a fulltime job at Burger King and another at home. She hardly ever gets a break, and when she does, it doesn’t last long enough. My mother is practically an “all-around” mom. She allows all of my friends to call her “Mom”. The same goes for my sister’s and brother’s friends. They know that if they ever needed a place to crash, our hearts and homes are always open. Even though we can’t seem to stay in one place for too long, our house is a safe place with warm blankets and wonderful food. I can’t even remember a time when my mom has ever turned down someone less fortunate then us. Giving is in her nature. She gives and gives even after it hurts. All she asks for in return is simple a smile and a thank you. Sometimes, she doesn’t even get that. People take advantage of her, and she still gives until there’s nothing left to give. She’s not just my mother, she’s my best friend. She’s someone I know I can depend on to help out the best she can. Determination, strength, wisdom, and intelligence are all important traits in a hero, but my mom possesses something stronger than all those. She possesses forgivingness, understanding, patience, and love. To me, that’s all it takes to be a hero, and that’s why she’s mine. I will always look up to her and ask for her advice. Her opinion will always matter more then anyone else’s. So, Mom, here to you: I will always love you.
“She's somebody's hero A hero to her baby with a skinned up knee A little kiss is all she needs The keeper of the cheerios The voice that brings Snow White to life Bedtime stories every night And that smile lets her know She's somebody's hero” --Jamie O’Neal— Chorus to: Somebody’s Hero
