The mostly blue female woke one morning to see the sun hiding behind dark thick grey clouds. She sighed softly as she stood she left her little make shift sleeping area under a tree to find more suitable shelter from the rain that seemed to be quickly approaching. Loud thunderclaps where heared as she winced slightly her hair standing up on end a she looked around becoming frantic not even caring about her stomach that was protesting from its emptiness. She whined as she pressed on looking for a cave or even a large burrow.
She came to a small cave as she looked in she sniffed a little not smelling anything inside except faint smells with meant it had been vacant for a while. She looked to the sky as it began to down pour. She then leaped in trying to quickly get in without getting wet. Though she loved the water she did not like the thunder for it reminded her of a day of destruction one she saw when she was just but a small cub.
"I'm okay...I'm okay." She repeated over and over.

Mismatched colored paws padded lightly over the now damp grasses not at all bothered by the heavy downpour of rain that cascaded down from the sky and to the earth. On the contrary he loved the feeling of mini droplets of water beating down on to his back and face. In fact the dual colored male tilted his head back letting the rain hit his face directly.
Rain was water and water was something he could not live without. Water was a part of his life much more so than it was for anyone else. In a sense it was his life, his very being. He had grown up surrounded by water and when the second drought struck, mostly only to his own pride. Well...he had been completely and utterly devastated. And even more so when he learned that both his best friend and his best friend's sister, the girl he often found himself longing after, were leaving. At first he joined them, but when Kagami left them he found himself slowly distancing himself from Akira before he too departed and returned to the pride he had left behind.
Unfortunately like so much else in his life, he found his homelands deserted. His parents had passed on and without his presence in the pride it had disbanded. Heaving a heavy sigh he lowered his face and shook himself. "Well I have nothing left to lose." He state aloud before he picked up his slow barely moving pace when his ears flickered at the mumbling of another. Furrowing his brow water-blue eyes surveyed his surrounding looking for the source. "Hello?"

The female rouge looked over seeing the male she moved over closer to the opening curious to see the male with his head tilted slightly to the sky. He must like water she though. Ironic how she did as well maybe she could talk with him about it? Maybe she could tell him of her homeland maybe ask him to join her in finding it again. For she had heard rumors that her childhood pride was trying to be rekindled by one of the two princes. She then blushed slightly as she back into the cave more seeming nervous. She grew distant it seemed scared to talk to this male. Maybe he wasn't nice maybe she should run away from him try and get away before something bad happen. She then took a deep breath as she shook her head as she moved to the opening once more.
"I...I'm sorry I don't mean to startle you...or intrude but would you like...to come out of the rain?" She said softly.

He turned his head toward the den he happened to just be passing at the very mutter of her words. His water-blue eyes landed on her features taking in every single one of them in an instant. She thought she had startled him but it was clearly the opposite to the male. He had startled her not the other way around. A smirk tugged at his lips as he listened to her stumble with her words.
This was going to be fun. Suijin just knew that it would be. "The rain is so wonderful, especially on a night like this. Why don't you step out and join me?" The male inquired arching a brow. He had a feeling that she wasn't in the rain for a reason yet he was trying to pull her out into the rain. How interesting and somewhat mean of Suijin. Well he was a bit of a sadist after all.

"Well...kind Sir I would but their is lightning and that is something Mina does not like." She said softly as she looked to the sky It seemed that the thundering had stopped and all that was left was rain. She took a deep breath as she slowly moved out of the caved and into the open savanah witch had one of its very rare rain storms. She blinked a few times then shook a little trying to get the water to land right on her pelt instead of messing it up.
"I do like the rain though...reminds me of the old days splashing in the rivers." She said softly as her fish scale prints where presented on her coat before him. She never though it odd she had their markings on her and she had never seen another lion with them either she thought she was special a gift from one of the the gods that where somehow tied into the domain of water. She closed her eyes slowly as she leaned her head back letting the rain fall on to her face. She then moved her head and opened her eyes to gaze at him. He was an interesting fellow all black and white and what was this a faint pale blue? She smiled slight as she turned her head to the side.
"Thank you I do...not think the Lightning would have stopped if you have not found me." She said as she looked back at him her eyes full of thanks she was an odd one thinking he could do such a powerful thing but that what it looked like.

"Lightning isn't something to be afraid of." He commented stepping back farther away from the cave and deeper into the open so the rain couldn't miss him if it tried. "Having the rain beat against my skin is like being back home under the waterfall," he mumbled letting his eyes close as he tilted his head back. Remaining like that he replied to her next string of words. "I stopped the lightning?" He scoffed at the thought. He was not a god and had no ability to do so. Though this thought could prove to be useful.
"If you don't fear it, it'll go away but you seem like a...scaredy cat." He replied not meaning to make a pun out of a human phrase. He was being slightly mean but he couldn't help it nor did he want to. It was just the way he was. "Why does it scare you? With lightning comes rain, rain is water something that no one can live without." He explained lowering his head and opening his eyes making direct eye contact.
"If you're so afraid then why are you out here?" He questioned with raised eyebrows. "Being out alone on a dark rainy night like this can't possibly be safe for a little female like yourself." His voice dropped to a whisper and his tone had a dark hint to it as he spoke.

She grew upset and huffy and her emotions could be read on her face she was not happy this male was being unkind and rude. Then he stroke her fur the wrong way so to speak. Her upset and huffy attitude turned into anger and scaredness as she stood her ground however her tail flicking slightly.
"I have you know I was almost kill by lightning when I was a cub I think I have every right to be scared of it! As for you stopping it yes I think you have I think the god of Water took our meeting as something interesting and he want to see how we would react. Further more I think he has great plans for the both of us way that be included together or separate he does!" She exclaimed she did not seem like the scared soft spoke little female anymore know she was full of courage now when he had pushed her back into corner with no escape so to say. She then took several deep breaths as she looked at him. Then her gaze softened she had just ripped him a new one with only little to no at all provoking.
"I...I'm sorry I yelled but what I said I think is the truth." She said as she looked to the sky instead of closing her eyes however she had them opened as she looked at the large clouds.

Suijin watched in amusement how the once frightened female suddenly grew a backbone and basically chewed him out for his few simple words. Stepping towards her a smirk once again tugged at the corners of his lips curling them upward. "Almost killed? Well you weren't so I still don't see a reason to be scared. I have almost drowned once yet I do not fear the water as you fear lightning." He shrugged his shoulders as he let a yawn roll off of his tongue. "Fear what you wish, but if you don't face it you'll never get over it."
"God of water having great plans for us? Hah, I doubt it, even if he did he couldn't have stopped the lightning or the roars of thunder, he doesn't have the power to." He replied taking another step towards her until they were only mere inches apart. He leaned his face in so his breath was hot on her face. "What plans do you think he has?" He inquired before pulling back a smug expression settling on his features.
"Think whatever you want kitten. You're the one that'll be hurting in the end because of it."

"The god of Water could have very well poked his fellow god or goddess to be quite don't you think?" She said boldly as she watched him she was grow more annoyed by his smug attitude. She then smirked slightly as she shrugged it off as she began to walked off.
"No matter what you say God of water always has plans that he does." She said as she looked back to him for a moment. "To bad the water didn't take your life I don't even know if your worth it." She said as she smirked and gave him a slight wink. Then he could have figured out that all of her personality before was a completely act of sorts. She then walked off flicking her tail slightly.
"Well enough of this god talk why not join me for a swim? Or where you lying when you said you got over the big deep depths of the water?" She said smirking slyly as she walked off toward a jungle type area where there was sure to be a river or watering whole. She didn't look back to see if he followed for she did not full care this was a test. A test to see if his was brave just like he said he was.

"If he knew where to find them in such short time then perhaps, but it is unlikely." He replied watching as she started to stand up to him more and more. He didn't bat an eye at the sudden change in her personality. She had been trying to play him, it was obvious to the male now. This 'fool' never stayed in the position of the fooled for very long. No he was too witty and cunning to stay that way. He had been around so many people who tried to fool him before. It never worked and it wasn't going to work now.
"Believe what you will kitten." He replied his tone bored and uninterested. "I doubt the water of my homelands would take the life of a royal, besides I never did anything to dishonor the water god." He replied. He hadn't dishonored the god of water before, he just found it difficult to believe that the winged male, wherever he was, would be interested in two mortals such as the two of them.
A dark rang out from his maw at her words. "Just lead the way kitten." He told her motioning with his head for her to start walking. Then he silently padded after her waiting to see exactly what she had in mind.

With each step she took her body seemed greatly intoned with mind it was connected to. To greatly at times how ever as she slowly down and looked back slightly too see if he was still there.
Upon confirming this she smirked as she ran off into the wooded area clearly putting him threw another one of her little games or test witch ever you'd like to call it.
Once running for a long while she slowed down and hide behind a tree to see if he had took her offer of a run or if he had stay back and used his sense of smell to guide him back to her though it would have been very hard due to the water still pouring.
Giggling softly the blue female with sky blue to pale blue scales looked around. "Guess He gave up...pitty." She said standing and shaking off as she walked off to the small stream as she began to drink some of the water.

Suijin took a wrong turn on purpose, his water-blue eyes keeping track of the blue vixen with every move she made. He thought he'd toy with her a bit, make her think that he either got lost or lost interest in her. That wasn't the case though. Standing off in the shadows as she approached the stream he smirked. "Give up? Who said anything about giving up kitten?" He inquired as he stepped out of the trees. He stood behind her a smirk still upon his maw.
He was right behind her, his voice in her ear, breath on her skin. Stepping back he moved towards the water, away from her. He tilted his head back the rain hitting him squarely in the face before he lowered it stepping into the stream. "Still swimming, or are you too scared to?" He taunted moving in deeper letting the water completely soak his paws happily.
"Now tell me kitten do you have a name or do you like being called kitten?" He asked her mildly interested in what this interesting creature's name was. He'd probably forget it not too long after he left her amusing company but he wanted to know it for now.

She smirked slightly from him being so daring to get so close to her. Boy did this male like to live of the edge of the cliff. Of course she did nothing to him as punishment for getting to see her pelt up so closely. No she would wait it out and see if he deserved to be majorly punshied for something else. She then moved closer to the water her white to light blue paws played with the banks sand before moving in deeper to the wide stream. She then looked over to him smirking once more.
"Doesn't look like I'm to afraid does it?" She said teasing him. "An I like the name Kitten makes me feel all young and bubbly inside." She said winking at him clearly saying she was not going to tell him her real name with out a reason to other then he was curious. She then moved into the water where on her head and the back of her body was shown the rest was under water and she paddled over to him.
"So...What is your name?" She asked moving past him as she tail moved out of the water placing it under his chin lifting his head up slightly. "Watch it don't want to drowned." She said smiling as she saw off a little ways past him.

"You took your sweet time though kitten," he replied eyes never leaving her form. "Could it be that although you aren't afraid of the water that you might be afraid of me?" He inquired humor laced lightly in his tone. Her next string of words resulted in a raised brow from him. "Does it now Kitten or do you just not want to tell me your real name?" It didn't matter whether or not she eventually did, but if she was going to play that way so was he.
"What do you think my name is?" He asked a smirk tugging at his lips as he took another step deeper into the water enjoying the feel of the pull of the water as it traveled down. "Now, now. Worry about yourself, you never know what might happen when one is swimming." He told her being rather mysterious as he did so. It was possible that she could take it as a threat but at the same time it was also possible that she would not. He just had to wait and see.

"Words are only such that...words." Said the mostly blue female smirking as she turned to him giving him a little wink. "Words are not like actions where actions can either harm or help you." She said as she turned to let the rain fall onto her face as it began to thunder and lightning once more. She winced slightly but trying to shake it off.
"And I do not believe you should know my name for you have already seemed to be found of a different name? Have you not?" Mina said looking once more to the male with her light blue eyes she smiled warmly.
"If you really wish to know shall we play a game to find out what it is?" She said as she then began to swim circles around him not trying to intimidate only stretch out her legs.
"For that is the only way you will learn my name. I shall not tell it to you unless you deserve it." She said as she moved over to a rock moving on top of it as she shook off some water only to jump back in splashing a wave of water onto him as she giggled.
The sun began to rise as she looked off into the distance. She then smiled softly as she moved to the banks. "See you later little man." she said teasingly as she ran off into the rouge lands her body being seen for some time.
