Shimofuri continued to lie there on the grass, humming and letting the sun fill her up. She then turned her head and asked, "This is wonderful, isn't it?"

Nefir: *Nods slowly, eyes shut* Yeah.....there's something nice and healing about the sun....I can see why Tima likes to stare up at it all the time.

Shimofuri continued to lie there for a while, before moving to under a tree and leaning her back against it, "It's good for a while, but then it starts to burn your skin." She then started to rub her arm. "It's just as nice under here in the shade."

Nefir opened one eye and lazily flicked his tail, watching the sun glint off of his tail's golden hairs. "The sun's nice, though; I think I'll stay here for a little bit longer; I'm bound to get hot sooner or later." He opened his other eye and winked at Shimofuri.

Shimofuri watched as the sunlight shimmered off of Nefir's golden tail in awe. She crawled to the edge of the shade and yelled over to Nefir, "Kay, come over here when you get too hot." She then paused for a moment before continuing to speak. "Do you want me to get you an apple or something fruity to eat when you deciede to move?"

"Will do!" He laid his head back and admired the lights caused by the sun shining on his eyelids. He half-heard Shimofuri's offer and smiled. "Sure! Thanks!"
(Ho geez, I envisioned Nefir with a girl feeding him grapes just now. XD)

Shimofuri moved around the bushes by the tree and started to collect various berries and fruits. Cherries, grapes, apples, bananas, papayas, and blackberries, blueberries, and razberries were among some she collected. After she had a good amount of each, she made her way back to the tree and layed them out in a decorative design on a leaf. When she finished she ate a few blueberries herself, and hummed as their fruity sweetness filled her mouth. When she finished, she excitedly yelled at Nefir, "You should come try them, they're really ripe, but not overripe!"
(now that you mentioned it I can imagin it too..... xD)

Nefir's eyes flew open, and he winced as the full brightness of the sun assaulted his eyes, then he shook his head and trotted over to the foot of the tree where Shimofuri and the fruit were. He eyed the fruit with undisguised admiration and selected a bunch of grapes. "Thanks; this looks really great."

Shimofuri smiled, both with pride and happiness, at Nafir's comment. She then grabbed a few apples and took a bit out of it, chewed, and swallowed. "Isn't natural sweetness better than sugar?" She commented before taking another bite out of the apple. "Expecially the apples, they're my favorite!"

Nefir smiled, then looked slightly puzzled. "You know, I don;'t know if I've ever had sugar....anyway, grapes and apples and things are a lot better than any ol' sugar." Nefir hgrinned and tossed a grape in the air, catching it in his mouth.

Shimofuri stared at Nefir and stole one of his grapes right when he was about to eat it, then ate it herself in a sort of taunting way. She contined to eat the sweeter of the berries, before noticing a coconut on the ground. She grabbed it ad hit it on a rock, spitting it in two. She then gave one half to Nefir. "You can drink the milk, or add it with some of these fruits for a yummy taste!" She said as she smiled, then added various berries and tropical fruits into it.

Nefir crinkled up his face in a look of mock outrage at the theft of his grape, then shrugged with a resigned grin and took the coconut half. He added a pawful of cherries, saving one to plop daintily on Shimofuri's head. "There, now you're good enough to eat." ^^ He grinned cheekily and added some blueberries, grinning at the resulting light purple goop.

She smiled in a cute way and giggled when Nefir put the cherry on her head. She then started slirping her fruity beverage.

Nefir looked slightly disappointed that he hadn't gotten a bigger reaction out of her. He shrugged good-naturedly and licked a glob of his concoction out of the coconut shell. He pulled a weird face and added a banana and some apple chunks. He looked at the strange chunky goop and tried it. "That's better." ^^

Shimofuri laughed at his face, andput some of the various berries in hr hair, trying to make it look like a tiara. Shethen put an apple on Nefire before laughing some more
